Lynch for Vick...Just a thought
billsfreak replied to ProjectPat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HA!------NO!!!!! -
Poz isn't the second coming of Derrick Thomas, but considering what he has playing around him (a converted safety and a street free agent), he has been very good in my opinion. He flys all over the field, and has to make his tackles as well as the ones the Defensive Line should be making, but haven't been all season long. He has been steady and should be one of our LB's for a long time, although a move to the outside might be a better fit for him.

Can we stop calling for Lynch to be traded now?
billsfreak replied to BillsfaninFl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I totally agree, the idiotic morons on this board that were calling for the Bills to trade Lynch, don't know their asses from a hole in the ground, or much about football. Watching the last two games, Lynch and Jackson complement each other well, one of the few positions we don't have to worry about upgrading on this team. With our two backs, we probably have one of the top 3 or 4 RB tandems in the league, you can't say that about any other position on this team, even WR where we thought we did, but how has that panned out? -
The games they won with Fitz in, they won in spite of him not because of him. He is pathetic and shouldn't even be on an NFL roster. I have never seen a QB make as many bad decisions in a single game, as he does every single week. Edwards or Losman for that matter, have never played as bad as Fitz has the past two weeks.
-
There has to be a reason why he never made it off of the Packers' practice squad, that means that at all time they had 3 quarterbacks better then him. Not too promising, especially for someone drafted as high as he was.
-
I don't know why Fitz is even in this league much less playing for Buffalo, but regardless, it is my guess he will be back next year, as the backup. I believe they signed him for like 3 years. Two weeks in a row he played so pathetic he should be tied up in the locker room and left in Kansas City. He is so terrible and it is really no surprise. He did everything he could possibly do to lose the game, and they won in spite of him.

The bottom line is, the Bills with the current organizational structure would be just as bad, if not worse if Marv Levy had never come back as a GM. Until changes are made at the top, nothing will change no matter who they bring in.

I can't believe with Mauron gone they are still doing this!
billsfreak replied to Red's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You hit the nail right on the head. Jauron was a disaster, but so are so many other facets of this organization. They got rid of one rotten egg out of a dozen of smelly ones. -
Gee this is a new topic. First off, I believe Levy came in as a favor to Ralph to restore some class to the organization, which he immediately tried to do by dumping Willis is Trash to Baltimore for draft picks. I know at least one pick (Hit and Run) didn't turn out too classy. I am not so sure he had the final say in what players were drafted, but was more of a figure head because of his popularity in Buffalo. Will this hurt his legacy, not in the least bit, his bust in Canton still gets polished and he still is and probably always will be the most winning coach in this team's history. The way we are going, we might never have a coach with a career winning record much less 4 conference championships.

Who gives crap what Stroud says? He needs to shut his mouth and earn some of his millions on the field instead of being the disappointment he has been this season. Maybe if he would stop a few runners inside, the MLB wouldn't be so overworked and need replaced in his opinion. It isn't like he is qualified to be a GM or even close.

Saints fan shoot TV after losing bet
billsfreak replied to sullim4's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would I bet my TV on the Bills? Hell no, it is only a week old and is awesome, been alot of years since anything about the Bills has been awesome. -
At least he didn't do what a few coaches have done over the past few seasons, sign an extension at Cincy then bail a few weeks or months later. Kelly did what any sensible and successful college coach would have done, you can't blame him for anything, it is the system and he didn't create it.
-
There is nothing out of the norm about this. The most important part of being a successful college coach is recruiting and this is a key time for that. It does kinda suck for the players at Cincy, but it shouldn't be any different for them for a bowl game, although they are probably going to get spanked by Florida. You can't blame Kelly though, look at it this way, he won every game on his schedule, and still doesn't get a chance to play for a National Title. There is no way on this planet, if he was to win every game on his schedule at Notre Dame that he doesn't play for a National Title, plus I am sure he is making significantly more at Notre Dame.

The best QB for the 2010 Bills...
billsfreak replied to Armchair GM's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
god size, good arm...decent mobility, studies the game hard....but not a franchise type guy???=Losman -
Kinda like when Rob Johnson got one with the Buccaneers.
-
Sorgi is hurt, that is why they are trying out QBs. JP had a stronger arm than Edwards and Fits combined. He probably would have the game of his life if he started against Buffalo.

Anybody going to the Chefs game?

Who are the Chefs playing? The Night Bakers? The Salad Tossers? -

Marv Levy STILL wants to coach again?
billsfreak replied to Chuckknox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know if he still wants to coach today, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he really wanted to coach when he took the GM job as a favor to Ralph. If you remember, he really pushed for Bill Polian to hire him in Indy before he hired Dungy. -
I wonder if our QB woes will get resolved this offseason.
billsfreak replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bradford is the last one of those 4 that I take a chance on, his shoulder is most likely going to hamper him for awhile, if not for good. I would go Claussen, Tebow, McCoy then Bradford. Either way this organization needs to find a franchise signal caller, sooner than later. Things will never change until they do. -
It is nice to talk on and on about who Ralph will bring in as a GM, coach, coordinators, but when all is said and done, it will be more of the same crap. Another losing head coach or coordinator with no head coaching experience and it will turn out just like the last 3 hires-terrible. Ralph isn't going to part with alot of his $$$$$, he is going through the motion to keep people interested so he can sell tickets, just like signing Owens last season-had nothing to do with winning, all about ticket sales.
-
I don't, Jones isn't going to give up control of the team in Dallas, where as Snyder hires GM's (doesn't keep the title himself), and regardless how much he sticks his nose in, he let's other people make decisions.

It's Official, Clausen Entering The Draft
billsfreak replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that Clausen is clearly the best choice if the Bills were to draft a QB in this draft. The biggest problem with the QB's that we have had recently haven't had the arm strength to get it down field. Clausen has a gun and throws ropes 40 yards downfield. While they are at it, they can bring in Golden Tate too. -
There is literally no one at this game
billsfreak replied to sullim4's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I totally agree, screw Ralph, screw Toronto and anyone else that had any part in moving those games up there and away from Buffalo. Ralph Wilson Stadium would have been close to packed, so I hope it makes everyone, including the NFL look bad for letting that move happen. There was a ton of empty seats that you could see on TV. One man's greed can be beautiful in another man's eyes when the master plan fails.
