  1. I will never be convinced that the Bills have ever had a line this bad.
  2. Clemens didn't do much positive, but he was still much better than Fitz. We still could have won despite him on that last interception, T.O. had a yard and a half on the defender and he couldn't even get it there-5 yards short. Anyone with a brain new it was a bad signing, he sucks, always has, always will.
  3. He sure is, if it weren't for him, we would be undefeated and the Saints would have one loss. I can't believe that nobody at OBD sees that Poz is the reason this team sucks. Second thought, you're an idiot.
  4. I have to agree, that was one of the worst QB performances I have ever seen in watching NFL games for over 35 years. He never is very good, but he was terrible last night. I have never seen Trent Edwards play anywhere near that bad, and that isn't a compliment to Edwards. They should have left him in Canada with the Offensive Line, they were both pathetic.
  5. You can't totally blame Evans, in last nights game, I might have seen the worst game ever played by a Buffalo Bills quarterback and the worst ever by a Buffalo Bills offensive line. Evans was open a few times last night, and Noodle Arm couldn't come close to getting him the ball. The last interception that Fitz threw, Owens had the defender by at least a step and a half, and the ball landed about 5 yards short for an interception. The Line was pathetic as usual, they couldn't block a little league team. The only thing positive about last night, was compared to last years Toronto game, there looked like there were actually more Bills fans there than Jets fans, unlike the home-like game for Miami last season.
  6. And it is quite obvious? Why? To act like you know something for sure when you are speculating, that is major ignorance.
  7. I was at that game, and the only and last game I will ever leave early. That game was so cold you couldn't feel your hands or feet, and a good portion of the crowd was leaving early-including me. Next thing we knew, there were about 200 people around a guy with a little transistor radio listening to the Hail Mary pass in the parking lot of Rich Stadium. Like I said, it doesn't matter on the weather, the score or anything else, I haven't since and never will leave a sporting event early now because of that game.
  8. I just got a text from Thurman's third cousin's, nephew's wife's, second cousin's daughter-it was Perry Fewell that disrespected Thurman. He told him to get the heck out of his lockerroom.
  9. You can't blame Thurman, or Andre Reed for playing for other teams. They both would have preferred to stay in Buffalo, but it was the Bills that didn't want them, not vice-versa. Not sure the same can be said about Bruce Smith, the Bills just wouldn't pay him what Daniel Snyder was willing to pay a DE at the end of his career. Also, don't forget, Jim Kelly came real close to coming out of retirement and playing for Marchibroda in Baltimore, so I guess that makes Kelly a wanna be sellout.
  10. It is by far the most penalized on false starts, one of the most basic fundamentals of offensive football.
  11. If you give AVP credit for the two games after Jauron left, why doesn't he get any of the credit (or lack thereof) while Jauron was here, AVP has been here all year as the OC?
  12. If you definition of minimal success is over 9 seasons with a team he took over that had never had a winning season, having a 85-67 record, 5-3 in the Postseason, only 3 losing seasons, a Super Bowl Championship and 5 of his assistants currently head coaches in the NFL (and another-Mike Nolan was last season), than what does that say about anyone who the Bills have ever had besides Marv Levy? Yea, we can only do better than that.
  13. Whoever Vito is, sounds like the one homosexual in a 3 man mob.
  14. Holmgren was never realistically on any list.
  15. You are an Asshat Retard.
  16. My guess is, when a new coach comes in, and unless it is Fewell (let's hope not), AVP will not be the OC after this season.
  17. No coach in NFL history has ever come with a guarantee or been a miracle worker, but it sure helps to have a clue and know what it means to win. Any coach needs talent to win, but not every coach can win when he has the talent to.
  18. 16 October 1977 against the Atlanta Falcons. Was one of the Bills three lowly wins that seasons, and it was a barn burner winning 3-0. A historic day where Neil O'Donahue kicked the winning field goal (missed a couple too) and was cut the next day-first time ever that a kicker who kicked the game winner got cut after that. More importantly, O.J. Simpson got his 10,000th yard that day. The weather if I remember correctly was unseasonably nice for October, but my biggest memory of that day was, with a half empty stadium it seemed, there were 3 big dudes sitting a couple rows behind us. This little skinny guy walked up to them with 3 huge beers (which were even expensive back then), and when he offered them the beers, one of the big guys got up and punched the guy right in the face. The guy, the beers went flying and his glasses ended up under my seat of all places. Goes to show you some things never change when alcohol is involved. I went the following week too against Cleveland when we lost 27-16 and Keith Moody ran a punt back for 91 yards, still the team record. The Cleveland game was about 40 degrees colder than the week prior, and an old guy, about 75 years old was walking around with nothing but shorts on while we all froze our asses off. Memories.
  19. Yea let him go, so we can get another, Dick Jauron, Greg Williams or Mike Mularkey type of somewhat successful coordinators, who are unproven or unsuccessful as head coaches, but most importantly come cheap.
  20. I met Thurman about 5 or 6 straight years down here at Bruce Smiths Celebrity Golf Classic, where we were out on the actual course away from the groups of people. Most of the time around us Thurman was great, but he knew who we were and there were only 7 or 8 of us. He is a very moody person though, who at least used to, drink like a fish and say what he felt. It wasn't uncommon to run into him in a less secure environment than out on a golf course where you needed a greens pass, and he acted like a jerk. That is Thurman, he isn't always a nice courteous guy. I got him to sign things probably 30 plus times over the years, and a few he was so drunk that the signature runs off the side of the card.
  21. For which no charges were pressed? So with your theory, 90% of NFL players are thugs, including Whitner, and many others. Hasn't anyone ever accused you of anything? There are so many players, even on this roster, that actually have had charges pressed against them, that you could call dozens of them thugs before you call Hardy a thug.
  22. Thurman was only over sensitive when he was drunk, which has been half of the last 10 years or so. I can agree (as can anyone) that Lynch is a thug, but what has Hardy done to make you think that? You tear your knee up and you become a thug? Bottom line is, if Thurman doesn't like it, he needs to stay out, he isn't on this team anymore, and isn't employed by the Bills. Who knows maybe he went in to hide someone else's helmet.
  23. Should be, could be, would be, but we're not. Those two weren't the only ones to cost us. Leodis McFumble cost us a game, Parrish cost us one. We have the worst ranked run defense in the NFL. If not the worst Offensive Line in the NFL, then one of the worst 2 or 3. You can't blame it all on two people because one is fired and one is benched. This dismal season has been a total team effort.
  24. Get'r done Russ!
