  1. Wow, you have issues. I bet you are the same one who when people use that excuse for Losman or Edwards, you criticize them. Not his fault that he sucked? Please.
  2. What has he done since? Lost his job to someone who basically was ready to retire and is old enough to be his father.
  3. All Chris Weinke ever did in college at Florida State was win, the NFL is a whole new ballgame.
  4. He did have a pretty severe separation his senior year, don't think he had two injuries, but one is one too many.
  5. If that is the case, you want Jimmy Clausen.
  6. I totally agree with your post. Although, because of the team's history, I don't have alot of faith in the Front Office at OBD, some of these threads are useless, factless, and only started to see what reactions they can get. Some of these idiots need to get a life, seriously.
  7. If he does come out, lets all go to church and pray come April he is wearing a red helmet with a Buffalo on it come OTAs.
  8. Me too, someone who is so mentally unstable that his coach is afraid he might kill himself. Someone who a couple years after he is drafted is considered a bust. The Titans have won a few in a row (mostly against crappy teams like Buffalo), but if you look at the stats, it is more because of Chris Johnson's running than anything that Young has done. If you judge someone's career on a couple average games after a couple years of disaster, you could be compared to the Bills giving up the franchise for Rob Johnson, who had one good game.
  9. And when is the last time a great quarterback came from that area? what 25 years ago? That is like saying that Notre Dame is the best team in college football? Times change (and I am a Notre Dame fan), there are probably more great players coming from Florida or Texas nowadays.
  10. It makes sense to me, but not to alot of people on this board. To alot of people around here you have to pick sides, you can't be just a Bills supporter.
  11. You can also add: 1A) They replaced him with a guy that at best is at back up for the Canadian Football League. 1B)You're an Ass.
  12. Actually, Elway is from Washington and grew up in Washington and Montana for the most part. I have been a football fan for almost 40 years and Kelly is my favorite player ever, in fact my house is nearly a shrine to him. That statement though is pretty dumb. You are right that Jack Kemp was from CA and he might have forgotten that the QB that beat us in two straight Super Bowls was also from the left hand state.
  13. It is pretty bad, but really now, is that a surprise to anyone? If you could go to say the Cowboys, Redskins or any number of other teams, that have an owner who puts winning first, a front office who has a clue, and a history of winning in recent memory, would you want to come to Buffalo? An organization who has sold out one of their home games, so far against divisional rivals, to another country for money-which many consider a prelude to a total move out of Buffalo? Sign with an organization whose owner is 91 years old, and when he does pass, will be sold to a new owner-who may want to bring in his own coach? Don't get me wrong, I have been a die hard Bills fan for nearly 40 years and always will be, but let me ask again, is anyone really surprised?
  14. Or desperate. Either way I hope they sign him, but from what I have been reading, any signing won't take place until January.
  15. Are they really getting their rocks off or just being realists? Based on the last decade and a half here at One Bills Drive, I would say it is the later. I hope everyone is wrong, but I will be more surprised if one of the big name coaches come here than I will if they don't.
  16. Who is Paul Holmgrem? Any relation to Mike Holmgren?
  17. If it was my choice, Shanahan would be their first choice out of all the "Name" unemployed coaches. Gruden would be a close second, but he has already committed to ESPN. Cowher would be no higher than 5th on my list behing those two, Holmgren and Billick.
  18. No Freaking way! Have you ever seen Lovie Smith fired up or yelling at one of his players? He is another Jauron, this team needs someone with fire in his eyes to put some energy in this team.
  19. I hope not, we have went that route one too many times, and they have been a failure each time. Look at the Bills history, it seems like the only coaches that had any success here were former head coaches (Saban, Levy, Knox).
  20. And how long ago were those moves? I hope he is really trying to get a good name coach in here, not just trying to satisfy the faithful fans by making it look like he is. It is going to take an uncharacteristic move by Ralph in spending alot of money to convince any of those big names to come here, with the mess the organization is in, there isn't much other incentive to come here, especially when there will be other teams trying to sign them too.
  21. He hasn't done anything but go downhill since he left here the last time. It would make more sense to bring DJ back. The only productive thing he has done in years is present Bruce Smith at his HOF induction, and his speech wasn't very good. If they went as far as bring him back, the barrel would be empty, as he is without a doubt the bottom of it.
  22. If that is accurate, that only means that he isn't coming here. Ralph won't relinquish that control. He has only ever named one President of Operations and that failed miserably.
  23. I don't think they are looking, they (Ralph) is convinced that Brandon is the guy that is going to take us to the promise land-what a joke. He is actually more of the problem than Juaron was in my opinion. You can hire a good or great coach, but unless he has the talent, he can't win. Like the old saying goes, you can polish a turd but it is still a turd.
