  1. I agree, over the past 10 years or so, the Bills, Bucs, Lions, and alot of other perinnial bad teams draft what about 20 spots higher every single year than the Pats, Colts and a few other teams, yet their picks pan out and ours are busts. It is how you use the draft not what position you draft in.
  2. And Chris Ellis looked awesome at DE too. It was preseason.
  3. They keep playing (actually he sat for 3 games) because they are paying him and he is the best punt returner on the team.
  4. To a Real Fan, it is never a bad thing to lose games. If you hope your team loses for any reason, you are not a fan of that team-Period!
  5. I have seen alot of stupid statements on this board, but that is the most retarded yet. So you have been a Bills for for what? 4 or 5 years now? You never heard of Tom Donahue? Just the case you talked about points out the stupidity of the subject-what fellow Coe College alumni of Fred Jackson's signed him and gave him a chance period when no other team would? You wouldn't make a very good private detective because you don't have a clue.
  6. Are they actively involved or just voicing their opinion because they know Bills fans will listen?
  7. They probably go in the locker room to get their ego's stroked, and when it doesn't happen it upsets them. The players from 20 years ago are night and day different from the players of today. Most of today's players, winning comes second to the paycheck. Although there were some of them back then, not nearly as many. I would also bet it kinda gets under the skin of players like Thurman who spent most of his career winning, to see these perennial losers making 10 times the money that he made.
  8. Until the last 5-7 minutes of the game it was still anyone's game. Marino was right on with his statement.
  9. That is the 15 years after the fact version.
  10. Oh the nerve of some people, when God walks by you are required to drop to your knees and do the Wayne's World "We're Not Worthy!" Sounds like that Canton Bust when to Thurman's head a little bit.
  11. They said he had surgery, it went fine and he was in recovery. It has only been a week, what updates do you expect? That he is running or lifting weights? They also said, you can expect him to start the season on the PUP if not the entire year. Going to be awhile before any substantial updates would be available.
  12. There aren't too many wives look like that at 21.
  13. Half the players in the NFL are punks now. Alot of you guys would look stupid if it were Fred Jackson or someone who you don't immediately accuse of it.
  14. He has won one game, lets not get carried away and have him winning out, it won't happen. Doesn't take much to get people around here overly excited does it. It was a good game, but it doesn't erase all the problems this team and organization have.
  15. It is professional football, there is no such thing as running up the score.
  16. I agree, they might have to put a Pope like glass wall in front of the state during the enshrinement. The worst part of it all is, he probably deserves to be put in. The city of Cleveland really crapped on him. Gave the NBA, MLB and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame new buildings, and he was in a crumbling rat infested shithole. It was sad, but I could understand why he moved, he really didn't want to but didn't have a choice.
  17. This team would never compete for the Super Bowl with JP, but they would have more than 3 wins right now, and T.O.'s numbers would be 3 times what they are now, if not more. JP had one thing Trent and Fitz dont have-an arm strong enough to play in the NFL and go downfield with fast game changing recievers.
  18. Reed will get in but there seems to be a backlog at WR and from seeing interviews before with voters, they don't like to put alot of players in from the same team or the same position (whatever sense that makes). He will get in eventually but it is probably going to take another year or two. This year I think we won't need to plan a trip to Canton.
  19. Good for him, if I remember correctly the team he beat (Haslett') team was undefeated.
  20. That is where you are wrong, I think Flutie could still be here and have been doing better than anyone we have had since he got the boot. Wins are nice, but not so nice when there is a two year break in between them. It is your man crush mentality that assumes what other people hoped for in the past.
  21. Trivia questions: 1. Who is the only quarterback to lead the Bills to the playoff every year he started for them (Flutie 1998 & 1999) 2. Who is the last quarterback to lead them to the playoffs: (Flutie 1999) 3. Who is the last quarterback to lead them to 10 wins or more (Flutie 1998 & 1999) You're right, we have had much better quarterbacks then him since they lost their mind and shitcanned him.
  22. Sounds like you have a Man Crush on this guy. He won Rookie of the Year-so did Rick Mirer! Maybe the Bills can sign Mirer too, he had a good rookie year give him a chance. Maybe you can get a poster of him wearing only a jockstrap so you can think about him all day long, and take your Man Crush to the next level.
  23. What street do you get this info from?
  24. I agree with your post, he reminds me more of Rob Johnson than Jim Kelly. So I guess when Ralph sells the team it is going to have to go to some old white guy with big ears if they want to be successful.
  25. Everytime I watch Notre Dame, the most impressive thing is Claussen's arm and the ropes that he throws for 30-40 yds. It takes an arm like that to be successful in the windy Ralph come the second half of the season.
