  1. He has always been a pretty good coordinator, but I wouldn't work for a year if I was him. Live off the millions that Ralph still has to pay him for the next few years.
  2. Didn't the Bills already trade for a QB based on one good game? Oh yea we traded a draft pick that turned out to be Fred Taylor for Rob Johnson. Yea lets give the franchise for another one game wonder, not to mention one that probably only has one or two years left on hsi contract.
  3. I would like to see Cowher come to Buffalo, but cant we leave that friggin retarded "Get'r Done Crap" with Brandon (or Branson as they called him on TV today), let him take it with his "promotion", I think who ever posts that should be called "Larry the Gay Bill Guy".
  4. Cowher would be good, but I would be just as happy to have Billick. He has won just as many Super Bowls as Cowher has, but with far less talent, and about one third of the seasons. Perry isn't HC material, at least at this point, last week against Atlanta showed that, his team wasn't even close to being prepared to play. I don't really care about Rivera or Marty Jr., but I don't want Fewell to stay here.
  5. You are dreaming. I would be happy if they hired Billick, after all he has as many Super Bowl rings as Cowher in about one third of the seasons, and much less talent-which is what anyone is going to have in Buffalo.
  6. Ralph did it again. The cheap route. That just means no good name coaches are going to come here. This is getting so old.
  7. And you were going to watch it so you could evaluate Brohm? Are you bucking to be the next GM? No matter who they play at QB from this roster, it won't be pretty so watch it like any other game, plus it is the last time you can see a Bills game for 9 months, which isn't totally bad, at least my finger nails and hair might have a chance to grow back.
  8. The Bills are so bad, I have Jock Itch.
  9. How do you give it to either over Pozluzny?
  10. He wouldn't be my first choice, but what an improvement it would be. My fear is like yours, that he is using the Bills as leverage as several players and coaches have over the past decade, using them to raise the money offered from someone else. Or maybe the timing isn't a coincidence, that the Panthers just announced a day or so ago that John Fox is keeping his job, so Cowher has decided to look elsewhere.
  11. Norv Turner is also proof that you need talent to win too. Something Western New Yorks finest haven't had in a decade or so.
  12. I agree he was a shadow of himself from a few years earlier, with zero mobility. Imagine him at the end of his career behind the Bills Offensive Line of today-he would be a crippled in a wheel chair, if he was still breathing.
  13. Ted Cottrell's time has come and gone, he has only went down hill since he left Buffalo-we dont want him. Martz would be a great OC if we could ever get a QB with an accurate and strong arm, you can't pass downfield all day without it. I really thought Dennis Green was a good coach, but in Arizona he just spun his wheels, since he left they have been 10 times better with for the most part, the same players.
  14. I think terrible is a little overstated. He wasn't what he was a decade earlier, but he did lead the Bills to a home playoff game that year, although he got knocked out cold against the Jags in the Wild Card game.
  15. I remember that, in fact it was real close to him signing but he changed his mind at the last minute. The main reason that he almost went there was the connection between himself and Ravens head coach Ted Marchibroda, the mind behind the K-Gun.
  16. He probably is smiling but only because of your top two reasons, which are really just one reason. He is as far from a team player as you can get, and he got the money, which is all he wants. If he had to go to the Raiders or Lions to get the money he would be smiling just as big as he is now. He isn't as good as he thinks he is, and give him another season or two and he will be whining in Philly for more money, just like he was here, year after year.
  17. I agree with your post completely, Hangartner has turned out to be a terrible free agency pickup. The O-Line play starts at the center position, and he has been terrible. One game he couldn't even get the ball to the QB, it kept bouncing off the turf. He may be useful to keep around as depth at guard, where I think he is more comfortable though. He gets paid a little too much to be kept as backup depth though.
  18. I agree with a good percentage of your list. A couple keepers for me, our best two defensive players, Poz and Schobel aren't on your keeper list? Makes no sense. I agree that Kyle Williams has had his best season, but hasn't been real consistent, having games where his name was called every other play, and other games you never heard his name. Beside, with the NFL's worst rush defense, is his best really good enough. I also would add George Wilson, Leodis McFumble (too young and talented to give up on a 1st round pick) and I have also been impressed by Drayton Florence this season. One other disagreement, with a good QB who can get it downfield with a good arm and accuracy, Lee Evans is a #1 reciever. Put him in Dallas, Indy, New Orleans, etc. and he is a perennial Pro Bowler. I do agree that Owens needs to leave, and I don't think Whitner is as bad as alot of people make him out to be on these boards.
  19. I would probably say nobody from this team should go to the Pro Bowl, since it isn't baseball and they aren't required to have a player from each team. If someone does go as an alternate though, I would have to agree with the article and send Pozluzny or Schobel for that matter (the only 2 possiblities in my opinion). The only real Pro Bowl caliber player we have is Moorman and Lechler has had a better year.
  20. Brohm will start the push to get him out of town with the same pathetic display of his lack of QB play that kept him on the practice squad in Green Bay.
  21. Are you new to this board? The threads started the day the Bills relieved the Packers of their high draft bust. They of course got more common the more people on this board automatically assumed that because the Bills signed him, he will without a doubt play like he hasn't been able to to this point, and become the QB that will take the Bills to the Promised Land. Doesn't a move to Buffalo make most career busts turn into Pro Bowlers?
  22. Charlie Frye has without a doubt more potential than any of the 3 we have here, for that matter, Losman will probably turn out to have a better career than any of our 3 will. Try again, that comment failed.
  23. I really wouldn't want them to pick up any of those QBs, but even more, do you really want to invest the future in Brohm? He has been a bust in Green Bay, what gives you a warm and fuzzy that with a veteran to develop him, he can be the future at QB, and we should just commit to him?
  24. Ferragamo had a lot less talent around him than this team does, especially at the WR Position. In 1985, the only year Ferragamo spent on the Bills and he wasn't on the team the whole season, he had one veteran receiver, Jerry Butler who was in the second to last year of his career and was already having injury problems, a rookie Andre Reed, and a star studded list of WRs on their roster consisting of: Mitchell Brookins, Chris Burkett, Eric Richardson and Jimmy Teal. Compared to Terrell Owens, Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish, Josh Reed, James Hardy, etc have much more experience and success at that point of their careers.
  25. As long as both of them have been around, don't you think there is a reason why they haven't been let anywhere near the field during the regular season? Seems kinda obvious.
