  1. I didn't say it was any worse, but it certainly isn't any better either. There were quite a few better options they could have taken instead of kissing his rear end the first day of free agency.
  2. At least he won't have to drive in the Parade at Canton, they sit in the back of the cars like beauty queens. Would hate to see him get pulled over on the way to the induction ceremonies. He gets pulled over for this about every 7 or 8 years, whether he needs to or not.
  3. Won't that interfere with his coaching duties with the new football league he is a head coach in?-at least he finally got the head coaching job he has wanted for over a decade. Buffalo was the only place where Cottrell was really successful, his stock has went down since he left here. I have met Bruce down here in Virginia Beach both at his Celebrity Golf Classic and several times at Arena League games, and around town, and truthfully, most of the time his isn't the most cordial person, but damn, what a great player he was.
  4. I am one who happens to think that we have one of the worst backup QBs in the league. He is a #3 at best, way overpaid and we chased him like Joe Montana in his prime just became a Free Agent. We are in deep dodo if Trent ever gets hurt and we have to rely on "Noodle Arm" for any length of time.
  5. And the year before that, the year before that, the year before that, the year before that and (you guessed it) the year before that.
  6. In my opinion (and most 'Pros" on NFL Network, ESPN, etc.) is the Offensive Line which unless it pulls off the surprise of the decade, will be one of the worst in the NFL and eventually this young and talented teams demise. The O-Line was pretty bad last year, they have lost two starters and haven't replaced them, so the writing is on the wall there. There are other weaknesses, Pass Rush, Tight End play, etc., but they aren't expected to be quite as dismal as the O-Line. Sure we have a weakness at Head Coach, but when gameday comes around, Jauron doesn't suit up and play, the players have to get it done, bottom line. If Trent Edwards improves on last season, it will be great, but if he doesn't, add that to the list of major weaknesses.
  7. Better them than us for sure. There is talk about the Rams being sold and maybe even moved, so what do they have to lose?
  8. OK, I quit laughing now. Lets see: Orlando Pace vs. Langston Walker-a complete joke to compare them-HOF vs. Journeyman Kurt Warner vs. Trent Edwards-Not close, Warner has a better arm in his sleep Marshall Faulk vs. Marshawn Lynch-Lynch may have a great career if he stays out of trouble, but not close to Faulk yet. Isaac Bruce/Tory Holt vs. T.O. Lee Evans-Maybe one of the closes comparisons, although they still get the nod as of now, no question London Fletcher vs. P. Posluzny-I love Poz personally (not in a gay way either), but at this point, no comparison The "Greatest Show on Turf" vs. "The most boring offense ever"-enough said An O-Coordinator all about taking chances vs. An O-Coordinator that shouldn't even be in his position, he won't take a chance on anything-Mr. Safe A Head Coach that has won everywhere he coached (and cried about it too) vs. a Head Coach that has lost everywhere he has been. I could go on, but getting bored of this nonsense post.
  9. I am speechless to this post. Only thing I can muster to reply is HA! HA!
  10. Couldn't stay awake to make it to Training Camp.
  11. Dude, if that is the best fantasy dream you can come up with, you need to find a prostitute or something exciting.
  12. Will never happen. He would want to much money and he would only be the 3rd or 4th best receiver on the team.
  13. You are so far wrong on that statement, that if it were any more wrong you would be arrested. John Taylor was only as good as he was because Jerry Rice was on the other side. He was comparable to Alvin Harper of the Cowboys, who when he got the chance to become a starter and get starter's money, he sucked it up in Tampa. Or Peerless Price right here in Buffalo, he was only that good because Moulds was opposite him.
  14. Excited about the O-Line? Are you kidding? It is my biggest concern about the 2009 Bills is the O-Line.
  15. The Bills probably will need to sweeten the pot a little, because if all things are even, he probably will go to the Bears. He as previous relationships with the coaching staff and GM there. Would be nice to add him though, I think he is a definite upgrade over Ellison.
  16. Pass around what you have been smoking please! Everywhere T.O. has been he has been playing with a Pro Bowl QB (Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, D. McNabb, Romo). He isn't anywhere Rice's level, not even close. Rice was a big reason why Young and Montana are Hall of Famers, and an even bigger reason why the Trophy Case in San Francisco is full of Lombardi Trophies.
  17. So going by your post, you hate yourself? You seem to be someone who thinks he is "in the know" as you put it. Were you at Losman's house last night for dinner, or are you doing a joint business venture together?
  18. He has been trying to, he thought he had a buyer but they backed out. This will probably be the only season it is called Cowboys Stadium. Maybe the company that built the Cowboys practice facility can sponsor the Ralph, since both that company's product and the Bills are collapsable.
  19. Good point, for the first 3 games of 2009 anyway.
  20. Honestly, I never thought the division was ours, but I was close to being pretty sure we would at least get a Wild Card. We were one of the first teams ever to start 4-0 and not make the playoffs.
  21. Wow, what defenses play more than one MLB when there are only 32 teams? I agree it isn't terrible, but not really good either.
  22. Just a sign of whats to come for Buffalo. After Owens runs out of people outside of the organization to throw under the bus, his teammates will come next. Hope Trent Edwards doesn't mind gravel burns, we all know he will be the first one under the bus. The question isn't whether or not it is going to happen, just when.
  23. That might be the easiest question ever asked at TBD, and it can be answered with one word=Playoffs!
  24. You have to remember Miami was playing a last place schedule, this year a first place schedule. All the breaks went their way, and Pennington has never had two good seasons in a row. The only team anyone has to fear in the AFC East, sadly, is still the Patriots without any doubt.
  25. Actually if you really want to know, I did watch most of the Bengal games last year, on a second TV (Sunday Ticket) as a friend of mine comes over and he is from Cincy (sorry for him). We have all these receivers now, and if you watched the Bengal games, Fitz can't throw more than 15 yards with any accuracy at all, and that isn't considering the winds that can get going at the Ralph. He also had a chance in St. Louis too, and he was awful. There were better backups that could have been had (and still can be had) than him and would have come much cheaper. Total bad move, no doubt. You can disagree if you want, but when he plays a few games when Trent goes down, you will agree with me, put money on it.
