  1. If I was a gambling man, I wouldn't place a nickel on any of those items to happen. The chance is pretty much 0% that any of them will happen by the end of the year, if ever.
  2. I agree with you 100%. Why do people on TBD get so worked up over what someone else says. People who are no more an expert than Fred Flintstone, just because they played. And if it is anyone with any past or present connection to the Bills, there is always a conspiracy theory on here. It might for some of us on here without much of a life, but the whole world in general doesn't revolve around the Bills.
  3. You better be happier with more losing than a 7-9 season if they brought him in. He is worse than Losman and we would go about 3-13 with our cast and Jackson at QB.
  4. Not a chance. I think Fitzpatrick was maybe one of the worst signings of the offseason considering how fast we signed him and for how much, but even he is way better than Jackson. Jackson isn't going to get any playing time anywhere unless it is in the UFL or CFL. All the weapons he had on that team, and he was pathetic.
  5. It has been 3 games since it was handed down. He has filed an appeal but nothing has been done on that yet.
  6. Maybe it is Terrence McGee going for Edwards job, since it is going to be a CB.
  7. If we are going to have a QB controversy invovling Fitzpatrick than our QB situation is worse off than I thought. The only way I can see a controversy is if Trent Edwards goes down for the season and the controversy is between Fitz and Hamden, and that is a No-Win situation if that ever happens.
  8. No kidding, this countries becomes more indebt every day with the new leadership. But no matter what they screw up it will always be the previous administration's fault it seems. How long can they use that excuse. A couple years from now we'll see how may people actually admit to voting the way they did.
  9. I bet there are more people that consider you a piece of sh-- than do her. The Bills organization couldn't be so lucky to have someone as intelligent and able to multi-task as her working for them. Our front office can't even file the paperwork right to complete a simple trade, yet she can handle being a grandmother, a mother of an infant with a handicap, a wife and a successful politican all at the same time. The people on this board that call her stupid and any other name could only wish they have accomplished 10% of what she has accomplished at her relatively young age. And 90% of you on this board could only dream of finding a women so intelligent and hot as h*ll, myself included.
  10. Wish it was me, she is the hottest politican ever!
  11. I agree with you, the whole period of 1988 to 1993 was amazing, but I particularly remember 1988 because as long as I have been a Bills fan (early 1970's) it was the first dominating season we had had. We had some minor success in the 1980's under Chuck Knox but in 1988 it all just clicked and it was a new experience for Bills fans.
  12. All I had to do last year to get games on a PC was set up a password on DIRECTV.com and presto. I did have the superfan, but I don't think you needed that to have them on the PC. It was quite simple actually.
  13. Actually the glory days started in 1988 not 1989. They had a better season in 1988, winning the first division in years and getting to the AFC Championship before losing to the Bungals.
  14. The big questions was how did they start out 4-0 and 5-1 and miss the playoffs? This is why-they sucked pretty much. They started out on a weak schedule and obviously weren't nowhere near as good as they looked against bad teams. I think the butt whooping by the Cardinals took more of their confidence that hurt than the Edwards hit did.
  15. Hokies rule! We live down in Chesapeake (stayed down here after I retired from the Navy a few years ago). My daughter just graduated from VT a month or so ago. Going to be a good year for the Hokies, hopefully for the Bills too. There are two different Bills Backers clubs down here, I used to be associated with one, I stayed with them for 6 or 7 years, but it turned into too much of a click thing, kinda like high school. If you weren't in their click, it didn't matter what or how much you contributed, you didn't have a say in anything.
  16. Ray Lewis snapped years ago. Maybe around the time he was an accomplish for murder and walked away.
  17. Please, some of us are trying to black out and totally forget the Todd Collins era in Buffalo. He was the great Heir Appararent to Jim Kelly. How did that work out?
  18. I don't believe T.O. will ever follow anyone. And to this point, Edwards hasn't shown any leadership qualities yet. Hopefully it is because of his inexperience, but so far he seems awful quiet. I still don't picture his getting in T.O.'s face (or anyone's really) and letting them have it, the way all great QBs have.
  19. Actually I believe the first full year that Losman started, he was rated in the top half of the NFL QB's. He has all the talent in the world, it is just going to take a coach who can get inside his head and figure out the combination to unlock his football mental ability, if it exists.
  20. 10 Minutes/10 Seconds what ever, that is more than it took the Bills to sign Ryan Fitzpatrick?
  21. How about just 2 years ago? Starting RB (Lynch), QB (Edwards) the two most important offensive positions, and a Middle Linebacker (Poz)normally thought of as the most important position on the defense.
  22. Would you even have remembered McNair had he not just gotten shot and killed over the weekend?
  23. Let's get this straight: 2006 was a good season = 7 wins - 9 losses 2007 was a borderline great season = 7 wins - 9 losses 2008 was a disappointing season = 7 wins - 9 losses How can three seasons be judged at such different success rates but all have the same outcome-7-9? Makes alot of sense to me-NOT!
  24. Our offence of line may not be that good All that I can say is "Wow?" Sounds like something right out of "Green Eggs and Ham"
  25. No doubt. But watching Edwards play the last two thirds of last season, was just as frustrating as watching Losman was.
