  1. You took the words right out of my mouth. I think that statement is something from his imagination, and if not, if Ralph told Jauron to fire someone and he didn't, and they are both still there, Ralph needs to go.
  2. That is a nice fantasy, but no amount of money is going to get Ozzie to leave the Ravens, an organization with a perennial contender to the Bills, perennial also rans. He has been in that organization for about 25-30 years.
  3. Me personally, I would probably prefer Shanahan too, but be realistic. Ralph is only going to bring in another coordinator or a rehashed head coach with marginal success so he doesn't have to pay the big salary.
  4. Look it up, Cowher had home field advantage throughout the playoffs 4 or 5 times and lost at home every year he did (once by the Bills). The two Superbowls he made it to were as a Wild Card. The only Superbowl he won should have had the officials name at the top of the trophy case, because they are the only reason that Lombardi Trophy isn't sitting in Seattle. He was a really good regular season coach, much like Schottenheimer was. Saying that, he is going to get paid like Lombardi has come back to life, just because that is how much owners like Daniel Snyder are desperate to get the headlines and outdo the other NFL Millionaires.
  5. Hard to attack a ball that is five yards behind you.
  6. How does anyone know if Cowher would even be an average GM much less better than that? He has never been a GM. He was a very good coach, who until his last year couldn't win big games. I agree he would he a big upgrade over any coach we have had since Levy, but as GM, don't be so sure.
  7. If Edwards keeps playing like he is, nobody is going to sign him to big money. He will be in the same situation as Losman is. So far thier careers have almost mirrored each other. You say Edwards has the tools but lacks the coaching, Losman has more physical tools than Edwards does, by far, but Edwards may have a better mental grasp of the game. Still, if nothing changes, Edwards will be inline for the UFL just like Losman is. At this point the Bills would be foolish to give Edwards a big contract, he hasn't done anything to earn it yet.
  8. If takes until week 9 to know what type of team we are, that is a little too late. So when we are 2-7 or 3-6 we won't know we suck yet?
  9. When you have gone 7-9 for three straight seasons, and you go 7-9 again-how in the h*ll can it be any type of improvement? It can't, common sense.
  10. The biggest difference between Evans and Reggie Wayne? Peyton Manning vs. Trent Edwards/J.P. Losman/Drew Bledsoe, etc. -Enough said!
  11. I agree, no way does Ralph cough up the cash it would take to sign Cowher. I don't think they would give him the control that he would want either, that would put too many "company guys" out of a job.
  12. I would guess: Denney I am worth millions Simpson There has been talk the last few years that Josh Reed might not make it, but he probably has one more year left in Buffalo. Dominic Rhodes may get cut, but if he does, probably won't be until after week 3. I still wouldn't be surprised to see them bring in another QB that gets cut, our depth sucks (starter isn't that great either)
  13. No way on earth that Roscoe gets cut. They might still try to trade him, but they get too much in the return game for a guy who is still on a relatively inexpensive rookie contract.
  14. I am not one who normally corrects spelling or grammar on this board, but what the f*ck is "prolly" is that trolley spelled wrong? Are they taking a trolley out of Buffalo? I am "probably" wrong on that though.
  15. That was last year, us and the Phins were the last two teams he chose from. We got lucky on that one for a change.
  16. Sounds like if your name was on the paycheck he would have been here earlier, but guess what, it isn't on the checks and you aren't paying him. Of course, the practice for any rookie helps.
  17. I agree with you, if Mularkey hadn't yanked Losman for Holcomb everytime J.P. threw an incompletion, maybe his career would have turned out different, it surely couldn't have hurt to leave him in there to take his lumps and mature. Come to think of it, Noodle Arm kinda reminds me of Holcomb, a career backup at best who some think has the ability to start-big mistake once, would be a bigger mistake this time.
  18. How dare you say that about the chosen one, the one who many on this board think was dropped here by a higher power.
  19. Seems like alot of people on this board that are saying Noodle Arm Fitz has played better than Edwards either didn't realize it or forgot to figure in that he is going against backups and training camp bodies too, not starters like Trent is. Makes quite a bit of a difference.
  20. Is that before or after he assassinates all 3 quarterbacks on the roster and turns the locker room into shambles?
  21. Maybe he just got his Bell rung!
  22. If we are lucky Jimmy Clausen will come out, he will be a better pro than either Tebow or Bradford.
  23. I hope you are right, but he will probably eat so much grass he will be a vegetarian-our Offensive Line is worse than terrible. Trent or any other QB wouldnt last the whole season behind that invisible barrier.
  24. He is every bit as good as Noodle Arm Fitzpatrick, which by the way isnt' very good.
