Your personal 2009 Buffalo Bills season slogan
billsfreak replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No we havent! They made in last in 1999 the same year that we did. -
Kelly on the sidelines tonight...
billsfreak replied to SuperBills12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Coach? Hell, he is still probably better at his age than what we have at quarterback now. -
You might be correct with the under, but mainly just because the Bills probably won't score more than 3-6 points if any at all. So holding the Pats to less than 40 might be possible, but I still wouldn't put my mortgage payment on it though.
-
You know it is bad when the Bills are on this list and they haven't even played yet. But of the teams that have played, nobody was even close to Delhomme when it came to sucking beyond the realm of possibility.

I hope we win just to get the "experts" to STFU
billsfreak replied to PJBrown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we probably have to shut them out, 21 points is about 4 games worth of offense for this team. -
So Maybin must have T.O. as his mentor, Tweeting in the middle of the night? He should be nice and fresh for the game. Doesn't take much to get Bills fans going on here does it? Gotta be Belicheat behind this mysterious fire alarm.

You can't be surprised by the predictions and articles about the game. I am a lifelong Bills fan full of hope, but I truly expect us to get totally destroyed on Monday Night, so much so that I am almost hesitant to watch just to get my hopes up. It would be an upset of the magnitude of the 1980 Olympic Hockey Team. I mean the first team offense couldn't get out of their own way, much less score a touchdown in 5 games. The defense played OK during the preseason, but didn't face a QB as good as Brady or an offense anywhere as potent as the Cheatriots have. Lets just hope it isn't too bad and we don't have to keep ropes or sharp objects away from Bills Faithful. -
Can anyone ever recall Dick Jauron

Normally you have to win a big game to get a Gatorade bath, DJ might never get wet. -
I Guarantee A Win On Mon Night
billsfreak replied to grammer_police's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who are your sources? I bet they have some white powdery substance in a little spoon. Can you back up your guarantee? Put your money where your mouth is. If they did win, and we all hope they do, that would probably lead to another 3 year extension for Jauron. -
I believe so, but that was when he was still a very good tackle and there were other teams that wanted him.

Bills Pessimists .....yeah I am talking to YOU!
billsfreak replied to EndZoneCrew's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You must be new to football. When a defense shifts and the O-Line has 1-2 seconds to make a call, how is the O-Coord or O-Line coach going to change the call? Normally it is the center, but in the Bills case with theirs having no experience whatsoever, Walker was making the calls. -
This is why the Ravens suck.

I was talking about the original post and maybe even that avatar? Is that guy real? -
WOW, Eugene Parker responsible for Seymour holdout also
billsfreak replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Put yourself in Seymour's shoes. You are being traded from a team that you have been loyal too, and is a Super Bowl favorite, not only this year but every year. They send you to a team that is by far (allthough the Bills are trying to catch up) the most disfunctional team in the NFL. If I were him, I would be real excited about going across country too. -

I love that people are ready to pack it in BEFORE the damn season starts. -That is exactly what the Bills want you to think, keep up the hope, all the while they have thrown the season away. A good percentage of people in Buffalo and nationwide have the same opinion. The same gullible Bills fans, have hope when the organization doesn't even have any. 5 young guys jelling TOGETHER -That should be 5 young guys with 3 rookies having 3 days to jell without the person who has been calling all of their line calls all preseason. Rosey outlook there for sure. I am so sick of the Panos, Teague, Villarrial, Ben Anderson, Gandy, Fowler, Reyes, Walker, Dockery, Whittle's of the world...... -You forgot to add Jason Peters. Look I agree with some of the other posters here, it isn't as much the moves as it is when and how they were done. Dumping your O-Coordinator, backup RB, Left Tackle with less than a week before you play the division rival, Super Bowl favorite Patriots makes as much sense as breasts on a nun. The Bills have obviously duped their fanbase this year, and the thousands who have bought season tickets. They signed Owens to boost saging season ticket sales and it worked. Now that they are all sold, they backdoor the fans and tank the season. -
This is why the Ravens suck.
billsfreak replied to tennesseeboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How about retardation? -
So why would this year be any different than the last nine? They have all been disappointing and no changes were made that made a difference? It is going to take a change up top to make a difference.
-
and our.... Beloved Bills with their clueless organization and disappointing last 10 years.

This is why the Ravens suck.
billsfreak replied to tennesseeboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is why the Ravens suck Are you serious? The Ravens were in the AFC Championship game last year if your memory goes back that far. Why can't we suck that bad? Wow? -
Those players kids or grandchildren might be playing then, but the way they are going these players aren't going to see championship caliber until the go elsewhere as free agents, or until the Bills cut them in cost cutting moves like this season.
-
I am down in Virginia and am no longer a season ticket holder, but I do know how I would feel is I was-Duped! They wait unitl everyone buys the tickets and then they decimate the team on the field to make even more money. I knew they backdoored people on reality television, but now they do it with NFL franchises too. Wow! The only reason they will keep T.O. there all year is his entire salary is guaranteed whether he is there or not, or they probably would ship him out too to save a buck.

Ralph Wilson is the envy of the NFL owners tonight
billsfreak replied to Whites Bay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With all the profit, and he is still pinching pennies instead of trying to put a winner on the field-simply amazing. -

Your statement is true for all of us, unfortuneatly in most cases (not all but most), the higher the $$$$$ return, the worse the product on the field is. This organization is doing everything it can to make the Oakland Raiders look normal. What a disaster the last few weeks have been. In just a couple 3 or 4 weeks time, this organization with no organization has taken a somewhat hopeful season and basically thrown it all away. Of course the timing of all of these moves is by no means a coincidence either. When season ticket sales were low, they go sign T.O. and the city goes nuts, buys a sh*tload of tickets and Ralph is happy. Now that all the tickets are purchased and can't be given back, they are dumping players, coordinators, all to save money, now that they have sold all the tickets they are going to. Is this organization ever going to try to win again, probably not. The fan base in Western New York has shown for over a decade that it doesn't take much, other than a little hype for them to get excited about the upcoming season, which in turn produces ticket sales in near record numbers. It appears for the 50th Anniversary of the AFL, with the exception of maybe the Pats and Chargers, the old teams from that league are trying to outdue each other for 2010 draft. -
I got a crazy feeling we are going to beat NE
billsfreak replied to Gordio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You mean compared to the 3 points the starters scored in 5 preseason games? We will be lucky if they score 21 points in the first two games combined. -
If he doesn't want to be a Raider, what makes you so sure he would want to be a Bill either? I can't honestly say it is a whole lot better. At least Raider fans can remember their last playoff and Super Bowl appearance, more than we can say. If he really wanted to screw it to the Pats, he would probably go the the Dolphins or Jets. That is one area with the drafting of Maybin, that is the least of our worries this long and disappointing season ahead.

The Bills only have one number retired #12 for Kelly. Being on the Wall of Fame doesn't retire your number. I wouldn't totally bet the bank that nobody will wear the other numbers mentioned above, since you would have thought the same thing about #83 too, and Lee Evans is the second person since Andre Reed to wear it.
