How about- We Love You Leodis, Yes we do But if you fumble again and cost us another game your car will get painted too!
-
Come on dude, are you for real or just new to life? He isn't even the best corner on this team. I don't like what happened to his lawn, but we didn't do it. How about if we chant-"Hold on to the damn ball this time!" He will know we support him by a sold out stadium and rowdy fans. Don't get carried away and start a 80,000 person man crush, he isn't all that he thinks he is at this point.

You are on crack, without a doubt. One game doesn not make a Hall of Famer otherwise Trent Dilfer would have a bust in Canton.

Who was the worse team in the NFL for the entire decade we are wrapping up now? Oh yea, we were!

How can we make things right to Leodis?

I have been to camp for the past 10 years, and the most patient players I have come across were Erik Flowers and Mike Williams-So Much for That? -
End of an Era, Pats* dynasty cracked on MNF You might be speaking a little too quick there. Were you saying the same thing when the Bills pounded them 31-0 on opening day a few years ago? They went on and won the Superbowl. They lost to the lowly Jets a few years ago, and wet on and won the Superbowl. They got in the win column and that is what football is all about. I would love to get outplayed every game if we walked away with wins.

How about we pitch together and round up another Million Dollars for him? Or maybe a get well card to his hands so he can hang on to the ball next time. He should feel lucky that he is in Buffalo, a city used to losing and not in Philly (Mitch Williams) or Boston (Bill Buckner), then he would really feel hated. Bills fans will get over it as soon as he has a good game. What did you guys with this idea do for Losman after the Jets game last year? -

Why do we have to make it right to him? McFumble costs us a game. We all know football fans and Bills fans, if he runs a kickoff back for a touchdown this week against Tampa Bay, all will be forgotten. Football is no different than any other sport, it is a "What have you done for me lately" game. The person that painted his yard was an idiot and took it too far, but Bills fans in general have a right to have him a little lower on the likeablity scale, especially since he fumbled two straight kickoffs. I don't feel sorry for any 20 something year old who will make nearly 20 million dollars in the length of his rookie contract, time he earns it. Hopefully he learns a valuable lesson from this and learns it is time to think team and game situation and not just "Me getting on the Highlight Films." -
Moss & Welker had 12 catches EACH
billsfreak replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Another factor in those stats is the Bills defense pretty much shut down the run for the Pats, whereas, Buffalo was getting chunks on the ground. Also, they had to score twice (and they did) in what 5 minutes, so they didn't have the luxury of running, they had to throw every down. -
Going to miss Poz more than Kelsay for sure, our depth at DE is pretty good. No so much at LB.

Alright we lost a heartbreaker... BUT...

Wouldn't that be a Schlong handoff? -

I have to agree. He wasn't Anthony Munoz or even House Ballard yet, but he was every bit as good or better than that overrated lazy guy we shipped to Philly was for us all last season. -
Leodis HAD to take the kick out...
billsfreak replied to theesir's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The bottom line is, you have to hang on to the ball no matter when you get it during a game and he didn't, the mistake is his and nobody else's. That fumble alone did not lose the game for us though, there were several key penalties and dropped passes throughout. -
Isn't it though? Lets just hope it doesn't start the string of injuries we had last season, or this year will be over before it starts. The first play Poz was off the field Brady took advantage of a lesser player being in that position and hit Welker right in the middle.

Brandon should assess Lynch's market value
billsfreak replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you want to get technical, you could say that about anyone on the roster. Lynch will provide more value on the field than he will in a trade, since he is one more Lynchism (screwup) from being suspended for a year. -

Pulled out of warehouses? Who has done that? I know of a quarterback that has, and he has done alright-Kurt Warner. Please provide this list, I am looking forward to 1000 rushers (plural) who have been pulled from warehouses. -

Trading Lynch as much of a thug as he is would be just another stupid move in the anals of the Bills FO. Fred Jackson can't go 16 games getting just about every touch like he did last night, his body won't take the punishment. If he ever went down and all we had was Omon we would be in a world of hurt. Most good teams nowadays have more than one good runner, look at New England, they used 4 or 5 last night. Rotating two fresh backs in and out is better anyday of the week than one runner who has 30 carries and is exhausted in the 4th quarter when you need fresh legs. And don't forget that Lynch is one more dumbass move away from being suspended for an entire season (and he has given no reason to believe that it won't happen either), that will always hurt his value, just look at how few teams are interested in Brandon Marshall, one of top 4 or 5 receivers in the league. -
How do u know that? Especially when the play barely lasts 5 seconds in total.

Actually as a lifelong Bills fan who can't stand Vince Woolfork, that shouldn't even have been called a penalty. It was a clean legal hit, unlike the one he put on Losman that cost him his job in Buffalo.

Positives to take away from the game
billsfreak replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought there were quite a few positives, unfortuneatly it is hard to look at them right after a loss like that. -I thought the young offensive line blocked pretty good all night considering what was expected of them, although their mutltiple penalties were huge in the loss, and nullified a few first downs. -I thought Trent Edwards had one of the best games of his career. He was 15-25 with about 5 o 6 passes dropped by recievers that had the ball hit their hands. -It looks like Schobel is back and healthy, he had a great game. -Keith Ellison had one of his better games, but I still think he is a little undersized for LB. -Fred Jackson had a huge game, in part because of the fact that Evans and Owens drew double coverage all night, leaving some room on short passes for him. -Defense batted 100% on Pats 4th down and 2 Point conversions-0 for 4 combined. The whole defensive front was pushing the Pats )-Line (3 of them Pro Bowlers) back almost the whole game. -Overall the Bills played hard all night, but too many mistakes (penalties, dropped passes, fumbles) cost them another game they had in the bag. Please don't schedule us for anymore monday night games, that is 3 years in a row we lost one we shouldn't have. -
Just read that Pozluzny's arm is broken, same one he broke his rookie year. Now do we go out and get some experienced depth? Maybe Derrick Brooks? Lets hope this doesn't start the string of injuries we had last year.

Can't blame Jauron or coaching staff for this lost
billsfreak replied to bluv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't agree with you on that statement, although it was the fumble that cemented their loss. Although the Bills played better than myself or almost anyone thought they would, they lost on mistakes. Penalties on every other first down. 6 or 7 dropped passes that hit recievers right in the hands. That fumble was the big one, but there were several mistakes that costs the Bills, as John Gruden said, they were their own worst enemy last night, and they clearly out played the Pats and should have won. -

billsfreak replied to bluv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree 100%. The Pats were kicking the ball deep on every kickoff, coupled the with the fact that they had the good hands people out there guarding against an onsides kick, not the regular kick return team with blockers, he should have been instructed that if it was deep in the endzone to kneel down on it. The fact that he fumbled the previous kick-off too, should have only cemented the fact that he should not have come out of the endzone. -
