Will you root for JP for Las Vegas?
billsfreak replied to JPicc2114's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Losman cannot compare to the level of bust that Mike Williams and a few others achieved. Losman had at least one decent season, you cannot say that for Williams. He wasn't the level of bust that many other First Round picks were either, such as Erik Flowers, Tony Hunter, Booker Moore, Walt Putalski (1st overall), Tom Cousineau and don't forget that future Hall of Fame receiver, Perry Tuttle out of Clemson-who? These are just to name a few. So your personal feelings are more than obvious in saying that Losman is the biggest bust in Bills history, not even close. -

If I do watch the league, and I will give it a chance because it is football, just like the USFL, XFL, WFL, etc., then I will root for him without a doubt. J.P. seemed like a good guy who meant well in the community but it didn't work out on the field. Glad he isn't our QB anymore, but surely hope he does good to get his career back on track. -
When was the last legit Boston championship team?
billsfreak replied to Tcali's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't like or watch the NBA, but I would guess the reason why it is hated so much on this board is because Buffalo hasn't had a team in about 35 years. If they did it would be better received, just like the Braves were. -

billsfreak replied to Tcali's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If it would help the Bills win the Lombardi Trophy, I wouldnt give a crap if the whole team was taking a bath in performance inhancing drug water. As far as I am concerned, all of Bostons rings are legit. The only championship in recent years that I would question as far as being legit would be the Steelers win over the Seahawks-the officiating gave Seattle the shaft big time in that game. -
MSN Fox Sports Offensive Position Rankings
billsfreak replied to folz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would say the RB is about 7-8 positions too low, but I guess it balances out because the QB is 10-12 positions too high. -
Vic Carucci not a fan of Fitzpatrick either

Really! Go back and read some of the old posts from the winter. Read before you open your hole. -
Parrish unhappy requested trade
billsfreak replied to billieve420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It might speak to Parrish's intelligence or awareness, but if he wasn't in a coma, they were trying to trade him for a big portion of the off season, so what makes him think if he requests a trade it will make it happen? -
RIP.

I have been saying how bad our QB depth is the whole off season and been getting beaten up on these boards for saying so. There is a reason so many people call him "Noodle Arm" Fitzpatrick. Alot of people on these boards think Fitz is the second coming of Jim Kelly, but I think it is closer to a second coming of Billy Joe Hobert. If Edwards goes down, we don't have a snowballs chance in a microwave. I am sure I will get beat up again for saying it, but it will turn out to be the worst move of the off season, and the most confusing. If we wanted Fitz, he still would be available now, yet we signed him 30 seconds into free agency and gave him millions. Make sense to me-NOT! -
Why Does Transportation To And From Camp Suck So Bad?
billsfreak replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have been to camp every year since they moved to St. John Fisher, and yes the transportation has declined, but I don't see how one can complain. You park for free, round trip to and from the college for a measley $1 and camp is free. The ride is what maybe 7-10 minutes long? I come up each year from Virginia, where if I so desired I could go to Redskins camp and pay to park, pay to get into the camp and probably not have all the things set up for kids as well as food vendors, etc. Each year the Bills camp is regarded as one of if not the most fan friendly in the NFL, so "suffering" through a couple minutes of uncomfortable bus ride is the least of my worries. Go Bills! -
Vick reinstated on conditional basis
billsfreak replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Give it a break dude. The Bills have as many if not more criminals than any other team this season. Lynch is lucky he isn't in jail doing time for his repeat crimes-yes crimes=criminal. Why should the NFL be any different than society? It is the American way, and I am only assuming you are a real American, that once you have paid your debt to society you have the right to earn a living, and get a second chance. Hell, Lynch is on his third chance after his suspension, should he be banned for life too. Get off your high horse and watch football. -
BUFFALO, you are creating a monster!

It might be stated as sarcasm, but your statement might turn out to be more true than even you thought it might. -

You obviously dont have TV, Radio or Newspaper. Not making any insulting exaggerations, as you so put it, just stating the obvious that 99.9 percent of non-Bills fans say and that most honest Bills fans are thinking. Just keep dreaming, and as a Bills fan I hope you are right, but you won't see me or any other person of any intelligence placing any money on it. We had exciting players during the 90's who weren't trouble makers that people never made this big of a fuss about. Sorry but he is not going to sleep with you no matter how much you love him up. -
Dude, changing trainers and/or conditioning coaches isn't going to change these types of injuries. Newsflash, this is football, injuries like this are going to happen regardless. It is all a matter of which team will be luckiest with the fewest injuries.
-
I wouldn't guess you would hurt the cartilage in your ribs by beating each other up. That is more common of an injury in just twisting the wrong way, maybe going for a reception. Normally just a freak thing, not from any contact.

I am proud of being a Western New Yorker too, but dude don't embarass yourself. The best hockey city next to Detroit? Is that because of all the Stanley Cups? Better than Boston, Montreal, Toronto? -

Actually he is probably spot on correct. Every non-Bills fan in the country is saying the same thing, and every honest Bills fan is thinking it. It will bite us in the butt, it isn't a matter of if, just when. The Bills fans and the are making a fool of themselves treating this talented but arrogant QB destroyer like he is god. Did anyone on the Superbowl era of Bills ever get the key to the city? Yet Ownes does? Makes about as much sense as boobs on nuns. -
2009 Season Projections
billsfreak replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not bad predictions although I think you are expecting a little too much from Edwards, not sure he can improve that much with one of the worst O-Lines in the NFL. -
You could have some serious depth at running back with O.J. and Jamal Lewis both 2,000 yard rushers. On the bench Travis Henry and by this time next year Marshawn Lynch.

I am still waiting for that person to come out who put a gun to Stallworth's head and told him to get drunk and get behind the wheel of his car. When that happens, I will agree with you that he had an "accident." Dude just admit your wrong and get on with it, you are making a fool of yourself, stating that it wasn't his fault he was drunk driving because alcohol dulled his alertness and thought process. Maybe O.J. was drunk that night too, damn why didn't they bring that up in his civil trial?
-
You are the first person I have ever heard say that getting drunk and getting behind a wheel of a vehicle is an "accident" You are right he had no intention of drinking too much and then starting a vehicle-excuse me for making you sick. Have someone explain that to you, if they can see you on your all-mighty high horse. Some people (know it alls like yourself) make me sick too.
-
I have to agree. What Vick did was disgusting and he should have been punished. But, when you look at the time he did, the money he lost and the chunk of his career he lost compared to what Stallworth got and the fact that you don't hear half of the country crying to suspend him from the league for good, is a f-ing joke. He killed a human being driving drunk, did about 3 weeks in jail, but all you still hear is Vick this and Vick that. What a country!
-
That would be awesome, especially if Whitner gets suspended to start the season for his incident in Ohio. We will lead the league in players that are suspended to start the season.
-
I am all for Vick getting another shot not here though. That is all we need is another "Vick should come here thread" this is about the 20th over the last month or so. We need football to start so there are some new ideas around here.
-
Vick's offense was pretty serious but it is also the longest suspension I can remember for a first offense. Sounds pretty fair to me. Like someone else said, Lynch is getting off easy, but it is still enough that it is probably going to cost the Bills a playoff spot.
