Enough with these gay jokes...not really funny
billsfreak replied to SuperBills12's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Not having a sense of humor is what is retarded around here. Why can you joke on one group of people, and not another? You are too sensitive. -
Anyone want to know where Pisa Tinoisamoa was today?
billsfreak replied to Lv-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Considering what he is asking for $$ wise, who cares where he is. -
If the Bills got Vick, we would welcome him with open arms
billsfreak replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who is condoning a DUI? I am not. As great a player as he was, he wasn't always the greatest guy off the field anyway. I spent almost 10 years down here in Virginia Beach working his Charity Golf Classic and have witnessed his personality. He can be nice, but he was never a player who gave a crap about the fans anyway. -

Maybe he could give him a key to the kennel. -

Is hunting that deer and displaying it in their living legal? Enough said! Your point is useless. -

All vazeline is is vaseline in the Dicemans NYC accent. You have to see him to understand I guess, the way he pronounces things is a big part of his comedy. -
Have the Bills ever had a media magnet

O.J. -
I really think the Bills plans are for him to sit behind T.O. this year, and after this season, when T.O. is gone, they are hoping he can move to that position. His serious injury last year had to at least play a small part in them going to get Owens to begin with.

Pacman Jones killed no human or raped no human0-I guess he shouldn't be suspended. They kill cows but it is in a more humane fashion and for a purpose to feed people like us, not as a sport. I agree he did his time, and that isn't why I don't think they should sign him, but for the reasons that almost every team in the league will stay aware from him. The protestors, upset fans, etc. that will make it a nightmare for any team that does bring him in. -

You might welcome him, but don't speak for everyone. That guy was an *sshole long before anyone heard of him mistreating animals. I have been down in Virginia now for 16 years, so I was aware of him since his high school days. He was a total dick when it came to community around here. He didn't show up for his own charity golf tournament, he sent his dad instead. When we asked his dad where he was, his dad said he was playing catch with his brother (another stellar Virginian) in the backyard. This area puts out some real winners, Vick, Percy Harvin, Iverson, Plaxico Burress. People wonder why I tell them Western New York will always be home for me. You think T.O. brings media and publicity, as much as I think signing him will bite the Bills in the rearend, the Vick signing would be a ten times worse and a total Publicity nightmare. -

Does T.O. Really Drop That Many Balls?
billsfreak replied to rolly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On more than one occasion, he has led the NFL in dropped balls. -
Maybe I can actually sit and watch a MNF game without the volume turned all the way down now. Kornholer was the absolute worst, his radio show was good, but that was because it was only about 40% sports and 60% BS. His quick wit worked well on radio but not broadcasting an actual sporting event. I never thought they would hire someone who did worse than Dennis Miller, but it didn't take long. It can only get better now.

I haven't gone as far as hoping to win games by a decisive margin-I don't think we are that good yet, but I will take a win anyway we can get it. Also, I know the Bills had a great running attack in the Superbowl years, but we also had Thurman Thomas (Hall of Famer) and Kenny Davis (maybe the best backup RB in the NFL for a few years). If the current Bills are able to get a wide open offense going, and alot of that will depend on how much Trent Edwards improves, it will open up a running game, so all facets have to work together. A good passing game will open up a running game and vice versa.

My guess is that we won't have any 1,000 yard backs in 2009 for a couple reasons. 1. If Lynch is suspended for the first 3 games, he will need to average 77 yards a game. He only did that 4 times last year, with a much weaker passing game, a slightly better offensive line and a heavier reliance on the running game. Also, after two seasons in the NFL, Lynch has missed at least one game with an injury, no reason to believe it won't happen again. 2. Fred Jackson won't get enough touches with Dominic Rhodes in town, and barring an injury to Lynch, he wouldn't have gotten enough touches without Rhodes around anyway. 3. With the addition of T.O., the offense will focus on the pass more than the last few seasons, not only because they have more weapons, but because T.O. says so. 4. The Offensive line is weaker, specifically at Right Tackle now that Langston Walker has moved over to Left Tackle. 5. The only thing that might increase rushing totals is if Trent Edwards goes down and they are forced to play Ryan "Noodle Arm" Fitzpatrick, he can't throw more than 10 yards, so the running plays will increase.

Is the thread the start of your closet door opening? Come on out, it is Ok nowadays. -
To me it is an easy choice. Both of their results on the field were eerily similar, but Losman never disrespected the city or the fans, but just the opposite. Johson lived as close to the airport as he could so he could fly out of Western New York as soon and as often as possible. Gotta be J.P., which is the lesser of two evils.

This might be the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Why didn't we give Robert Royal a key to the city, he has done more for the team, city and fans than T.O. has so far. If it does anything it makes the city look desperate and pathetic. At least let him do something first. Did any of the players on the Superbowl teams get keys to the city? Everyone on the roster should have before T.O. got one, from Kelly down to Mark Pike. Almost makes you embarrassed to be a Western New Yorker.

That is what he was trying to do that night.

Barring injury, no matter what happens while he is out, Lynch is still the unquestioned starter as soon as he returns. You can't compare his situation to Peters last year. Lynch will be there the entire training camp and preseason working with the team and staying in shape. Peters sat at the local Dunkin Donuts until he decided to show up and was way out of physical and game shape. Nothing Jackson or Rhodes can do on the field will affect Lynch's touches.
