  1. Steve Nash could have went pro in 3 sports, Bball, Soccer, Tennis. He had an offer to play for Man. U. I believe, but choose the court.
  2. Here is an idea America.... stop taxing dead people? (their heirs included). The founding fathers would be ashamed.
  3. The Bills, by playing in the HOF Game, get a 5th pre season game. This can only help TE/TO get a little more comfortable with each other on the field, and get a lot of our young guys some extra game experience -- I am really hoping our starting OL gets some serious PT in these games. This could only be bad if coach Dick players/injures our starters but past pre seasons would not lead one to believe he will not risk a players health. Sorry if this was posted a while back, I missed it if it was. http://www.buffalobills.com/schedules/game-schedule.html
  4. I have a Spikes #51 jersey. Last season I wanted to take it to one of those stores and get a poz sewn over to update the jersey. I got all the way to the store parking lot, looked at the jersey, turned around, and left. I just couldnt do it. In these 10 or so years of sh*tty Bills football, Spikes is one of the only bright spots that made you truly proud to be a Bills fan. The only other one on his level IMO is Pat Williams. I am not mad Spikes left, because he requested a trade -- so he could make the playoffs. I would have let him go too. Big Pat though, we treated him like dirt. All he wanted to do was retire a Bill and we ran him out of town. Complete BS, he could still play and made the PB in Minn, running the same cover two scheme we said he couldnt play. Spikes and Big Pat. If the Bills could find 3-4 guys like them they would be in the hunt year in, year out.
  5. I for one would love to trade a Dick for Dick (Jauron for Lebeau that is). Thats one vote for Lebeau in 2010... any more?
  6. Bear is not his real name, its a nickname that stuck. Kinda like boss and champ Bailey... those are not their real names. does it still count?
  7. Does he work for the Lions?
  8. Is it really that suprising? The guy was a stud in college, and will be a stud in the NFL IMO. Plus, he only has to beat out Tyler Brayton as the starting LDE. Who is Tyler Brayton you ask? Well I have no idea, but he is likely to be the Carolina version of Kelsay, only with about double the sack total. So while the Panthers continue to be a playoff contender the Bills continue to draft in or near the top 10. I predict that in the future the Bills passing on Brown for Byrd will be brought up as often and with similiar resentment as the Whitner over Ngata saga.
  9. No I dont. This was Maybin's "Senior" Season, because it was his last season in college. They entered the draft at the same time, therefore they are looked at under the same light. We drafted a boy instead of a man hoping the boy turns into a man....?
  10. Nobody knows. Just another Bills draft...
  11. We have been trying to make the Cover Two work for so long, I think we still dont have the players to make it effective. Which makes me think its too hard to find enough players to fit the system.
  12. Well when we bring in a new coach after Limp Dicks firing, I am hoping our new coach employs a 3-4. I then hope Wilfork signs with us. F the Pats*, Go Bills.
  13. Just get Pat Willis at LB, Calvin Johnson at WR, R. Bush at RB, and move V. Gholston back to his college position of DE. Add the fastest players elsewhere, especially the secondary. Run quick dive plays and send Calvin on a flag/corner route from a tight formation, preferably from an inside role (not the widest man in the formation) as he will most likely be matched with a LB.
  14. The Rams had a new stadium built about 10 yeras ago. They wont be moved anytime soon.
  15. One more thing. If Singletary coached 9 seasons as an NFL head coach, and had one winning season to show for it, he would resign/retire. Not like limp Dick who seems to just go through the NFL being buddies to his players and collecting a pay check.
  16. They all share a winning mentality. How they employ it may differ, but the results are the same. Singletary gets more out of his players by making them the toughest. Thats what the Steelers have done for years. Indy and the Pats use skill, execution, and schemes. But they all are expected to win. DJ accepts losing, and when you do that you can never win. I fully expect the 9ers to make the playoffs this year and become a dominant franchise once again with Big Mike at the helm, he wont accept anything else. (I was hoping the Bills could sign him away from San Fran before he was promoted)
  17. I am suprised we are that high... they must not figure coaching into these rankings.
  18. Its only a matter of time until Bradys fall from Heaven. The guy is the most overrated player in football. He gets praised for his mobility, but all he does is stand there. With his injury and declining O line play I think we will finally see how bad Brady really is.
  19. It is rediculous that the justice system in this country has turned into he said/she said BS. A lady calls the cops saying a guy flashed her in her window, then she drives down the street and points at the first guy she sees. Then the cops arrest him and right up a report? She even admitted how it happened at night time, this sh-- is rediculous. The founding fathers would be disgusted with what this nation has become.
  20. we need another man with return skills....
  21. With Farve retired(?), Kornhieser has no material. MNF was forced to replace him.
  22. He learned a thing or two, always refuse the breathalizer
  23. Sure beats the chain and flat brim hat with tags look
  24. So lets look at this: Ellison is a great backup and ST player, somewhat of a let down as a starter +Pisa is a vet who is a solid tackler and playmaker as a starter = Bills should sign Pisa
  25. I would wait till next year to trade for him if ever. If he is not suited for a 3-4 his value will only drop over the course of this year. Second, I agree with Magox, and I doubt DJ is around after this season. Our new coach may come in a switch to a 3-4 -- which would leave Dorsey out of the loop again. I loved Dorsey in college and still think he could become one hell of a player. If we run a 4-3 in 2010, he does not play much this year and is going to be moved, I think giving up a 2nd or 3rd would be worth it for a player like him.
