  1. I will go with 0-4 (still trying to recover from the butt raping by the Pats*... and Tom Brady will look like sh--), but who am I kiding, Im a realist!
  2. Agree 100% McGee and Mckelvin are the top two. Youboty and Corner are origanal Bills and both were great at Nickle last season. The Bills drafted 2 more CBs this year and Ellis Lankster got rave reviews coming out of OTAs. Assuming those 5 dont get cut... how many are we going to keep? The other rookie Harris is likely out already so Florence may stay, but he will be lucky to be a dime back
  3. Ill be pleased with extensive action (say 25% of the D snaps) in 6 games.
  4. The American justice system determined his punishment and he has served it. IMO he is now on an even keal and shouldn't be punished any further, but that is up to any employer to decide. Many companies woldn't hire some joe shmoe the felon, but they would hire a Warren Buffet the felon. Vick is not your average NFL player, he has the football talent to warrent the hire just as Warren Buffet has the buisiness talent to warrent a hire.
  5. The 2 min is the most dominant part of Trents game. See '08 Jax, Oak, SD.... Per the O line: The no huddle will in theroy limit the Ds play calling/blitzes, thus making it easier to pick up the more basic rushes.
  6. I thought Hardy was a dumb pick and was certain Sweed was the better option....?
  7. Aside from him being completely off about the secondary -- maybe the stongest unit of our team -- he is right about the other things. Porter should eat up Walker and we will have to double team him on every passing down. This means we cannot use a back or TE to help our rookie interior. Our WR would eat up their secondary but who knows if we can block for over 2 seconds. We still dont have a pass rush, which I guess could give the perception we have a bad secondary, and Maybin is the definition of a high risk high reward draft pick. That writer is high on his horse as a Phin fan but pretty much gave us our team overview without the sugar coating. And he didnt even mention where they blow us out of the water, the two most important positions on a team...Coach and GM
  8. The correct answer is no. McKelvin is one hell of a talent and will become a great NFL CB, but a shut down corner is dependent on a pass rush -- something the Bills do not have. Neon Deon is the only CB who could shut down a WR regardless of the QBs time to throw -- so unless McKelvin is the 2nd best CB in the history of football then the answer is no.
  9. Sage is no better than Fitz And the Favre issue, theINTs are what made him good. Flutie says it best -- "Show me a QB wiht no INTs, and I'll show you a QB who doesnt taken enough chances to win." Ironically you want your QB to throw a few interceptions as that means he is living right on the line for the big play. You want him to force throws that result in big plays, and a few pics with a few more TDs is a good thing. Everyone here would love Trent to throw 5 more pics next season if it meant he threw for 10-15 more TDs. If he took more chances down field that could be the result. Brett was soo good because he took the most chances and succeed for years. When you play with fire sometime you get burnt, but you can also have a whole lot of fun. Favre can be my QB any day.
  10. I think he should be let off with nothing. The US Constitution states that one can carry and/or transport (the definition of bear as it pertains to this situation) fires arms. Somewhere along the line that right was taken away and a person cannot put a gun in the trunk of his own vehicle.
  11. so over half the league let in more points....yea that is a bad defense
  12. i would rather lock up say Boldin long term. Younger and may be the best RAC WR in the league (S.Smith is the only one in his league)which we need with trents style of play.
  13. I would love Leach as I think the spread would be great in the NFL and he is one of the best. However, if I am going to take a college coach to the NFL it has to be Les MIles, LSU, hands down. The guy has steel nuts and gets the most out of his players. We need a coach who plays to WIN, not to lose. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSo9cc68jrU
  14. My only discrepancy is that The Bills could have parlayed their picks/Peters trade differently and acquired Oher instead of Wood. While I like Wood, Oher at LT and leaving Butler and Walker at their 08 positions just makes more sense than using Wood at G and moving both Walker and Butler to new positions. I also feel that Oher would out perform Walker at LT. The Bills always preach continuity and this draft is just the opposite. Going by their record however continuity doesnt seem to work so maybe this is a good move.
  15. When was it high?
  16. While neither may be a top ten player at their respective positions, relatively Poz >> Whitner. No real argument there
  17. You guys are not giving enough credit where credit is due. Fitz did extremely well for a bad Bungels team last season. Its Edwards job no question, but Fitz could easily out perform Edwards if he gets a shot.
  18. Im sure it has to do with the naming of the stadium.
  19. A picture of that would go straight to ESPN and I hope you got one.
  20. Garcia is married to a former playmate. I would say that qualifies her as a celeb.
  21. Screw Jessica, Im going after Romo....
  22. The real question for me is when will they be avaiible from China And second, what rookies do you think will changes numbers if they get a chance? Pat Thomas, 59, may get cut during camp but only signed a one year deal if he didint. Will Maybin go back to 59 or just settle of 58? PS I checked the roster and Nic Harris is wearing 49 at LB. Loved Harris pre draft and 49 is a diesel number for an LB. I hope get keeps it as I will buy one. Maybe I should just yell to them at camp...
