  1. We have plenty of LBs capable of beating out Ellison. We dont have any DEs to sack the QB
  2. At what point, as a player, do you guys feel said player should either A) go to his agent and demand a deal is worked out in 24hrs, saying that he, the player, will accept less money to get into camp, or B) Fire agent and get a new agent who cares about his clients career, and not just his salary. If I were in Maybins shoes, I would have fired my agent by now. He cant get him more money, he cant get him signed, so what can he do? Sitting and waiting is not working its laziness. A good agent could get you the most money BEFORE camp starts...
  3. Are you stealing my water? -- Mayor West But its nice to see we saw the same things... gotta love his aggressiveness. We need 10 more guys on the D with his intensity.
  4. I would love to hear your opinion on the HB Dive call on 3rd and 14 call from inside the 20.. I for one am tired of beating the dead horse that is the Bills play calling.
  5. Harris played great and was all over the field, there was the one TD which was his fault. However: 1- it was an aggressive mistake, not a passive one like we are so used to seeing 2- He CRUSHED the QB when he made the hit, and it was legal 3- It wasnt a mental mistake like it looked. Harris was covering the back in the flat, and was within 5 yards of the LOS. Harris pushed the back from behind, then attacked the QB. He did this same move earlier in the game to force a throw away. The thing was that he didnt knock the back over like he did the first time he performed the same move. TKO used to do this for the Bills, I remember his once int for TD vrs Miami, and I think it is a real heads up play. With your man laying face down on the ground you are free to attack the QB. Yea he got burnt for a TD this time, but I would bet he hits his receiver a lot harder next time. I LOVE his aggressive play.
  6. Come on guys, its hard to right articles about the NFL.
  7. If I had to pick a team, it would be the Skins. Bruce Smith played there, Fletcher played there, and they are pretty much the exact opposite of the Bills when you talk about off season philosophys. The off season would at least be much more inspiring.
  8. Call me old school as I still use a PS2, but I think there must be something wrong with the rosters. I know they changed the rankings and all but its a bit outta wack. Kyle vandebash the fastest DE in the game? Pettigrew, a first rd pick - 75, Nelson a 4th rounder, 73? CHRIS KELSAY a 89! I could go on and on, it doesnt make sense. I think mine has a virus.....
  9. If I owned the Broncos, I would have told McDaniels to get outta town before Cutler.
  10. Your logic is flawed. As much as Dick trys, you just cant field a Defense of 11 DBs, it just wont work.
  11. If you want to sit for an entire football game, and get mad when others stand and make noise, then stay at home and watch it from your nice quiet comfortable couch. JMO.
  12. Call me negative Nancy as I voted Maybin
  13. Reminds me of Kelsay's stat line for the '08 season.
  14. They could still run the ball on anyone though. Bottom line is that the Bills should model their franchise after the Steelers. Similar blue collar town, similar fans, similar weather. The Steelers show us how to do it in those elements, but we cant even reverse engineer it into a winning football team.
  15. Hahahaha. 2 kids 3 kids, whats the difference!?
  16. Guys, lets be honest. How are we going to finish 7-9 with our starters actually on the same page? A winning record could result from that...and who wants to win, its too hard to win in the NFL.
  17. Edwards will be well rested come opening day. His extra rest will allow him to deal with our terrible record come January.
  18. How do you guys know? Here in Rochester all we have is the Pitt Ariz game. Meanwhile, both teams kept their starters in for 2 series (take note Dick), and Limas Sweed is tearing it up.
  19. Why should we even sign Maybin? We could just let him rot and save the cash. Or trade him for a 2nd or third rd pick in 2010
  20. Regardless of if its just training camp, its nice to hear this about a rook. Outside of Wood this season, when was the last time we heard this kind of talk from a Bills rookie? 5 years plus. Speaking of Wood, he and Orakpo seem to have the same love of football
  21. My pre-draft posts clearly show my man love for Orakpo (Im a big time 'Horns fan), and with nothing to read on Maybin, I came across this article. http://www.homermcfanboy.com/2009/08/03/sa...ness-in-orakpo/ He seems to getting reps at both LB and DE. Has been getting great reviews from teammates, even comparisons to D.Ware and L.Little. “You know, I’ll tell you, this young kid is going to be awesome at this level,” said offensive tackle Chris Samuels. “I’m working against him and he beat me a few times out there. I’m just trying to get back into the groove of things and he’s coming out fired up as a young pup. He’s going to be awesome, and I tell you what – I’m definitely glad to be working against him. He’s definitely going to help me get better.” Wait a minute. We’re talking about Chris Samuels, a six-time Pro Bowler. And here he is, telling us that some rookie who just signed his first NFL contract less than a week ago is already so good that he’s making Samuels step up his game Hey London [Fletcher], Chris Samuels is already comparing Orakpo to a young DeMarcus Ware. What say you? “Well, Chris’ assessment fits pretty well,” he said. “Obviously he’s faced DeMarcus many times. “Personally he reminds me of Leonard Little, my teammate back in St. Louis,” Fletcher said. “They both have the same body types. They’re both about 6-3, around 250 lbs. and could rush the passer like crazy. He definitely reminds me of Leonard, and that’s a guy who has had a great career.” I have no grudge against Orakpo and hope he does well. I just hope for my sanity as a fan that Maybin does better. If Orakpo is Ware, Maybin can be Merriman.
  22. I could go for Bowen and Harris making the starting D. Ellison is toast, but Mitchell isnt great either.
  23. The last thing the Bills need is Marty ball. All that play not to loose crap instead of going for the jugular. Shannahan has always had a good O and strong running game. His teams have struggled when their D is at the bottom of the league. Add in the fact he could oversee our draft room and FA acquisitions, he would be a great fit. Same things could be said about Cowher.
