Stop bashing the pre season. Do you guys think the Long just let him get a sack thinking "We are passing, I should just let my guy beat me, its preseason." Yea, thats the kind of competitive spirit that lands you the #1 overall pick... Second, if you want better S play, you dont draft a safety, you draft a DL. Its the same with the running game. If you cant run it most likely is the lines fault, not the backs. Third, to beat the Pats* you need a pass rush, not another DB Forth, I broke my cell phone when we passed on Brown. Fifth, we should have taken M. Johnson too.

It cant be that obvious, Dick still thinks you win games with wholesale amounts of DBs...

We need to cut Kelsay and Schobel (mainly because of their slaries) THIS SEASON. Lets face it, only a blind optimist could have playoff hopes this seasaon. We need to eat the huge cap hits this year, so that nest season we have the cap room to add some players. We cant be weighted down by both the players and their slaries into 2010 as well. Anyone know when that time deadline is? IE, when is the latest date we can cut one of those guys and not have their salary on the 2010 books.

He sure looks quick there. Honestly though I am worried about the 30-40 extra pounds he will have to carry to play in the NFL. Very few humans could retain that quickness when they need to add that kind of weight. As he hasnt played any football yet at his combine weight of 250, the only thing we can really look at is his 40 time from the combine to see how he carries it. his 10 yard split was one of the fastest, but his 4.88 40 is not a good showing. That kind of burst should translate to a fast time. I fear he lost his burst once he bulked up. In college Maybins game was built solely on his quickness, without it I believe he is SOL. Here is to hoping he can carry the weight... PS Isn't it funny how once we FINALLY decide to draft a defensive lineman, he is the size of a DB? Dickie strikes again.

I bet Maybin still weighs 235-240ish. He most likely used the age old tactic of 'drink a couple gallons of water before stepping on the scale' trick at the combine. FYI: Weight of 1 US Gallon of water = approx. 8.35 lb

I still vote AQ. And I dont care about money either. Every year the Redskins through 100 Mil here, 55 Mil there, and are under the cap. How? I have no idea. All I know is the Bills spend about 10 Mil total an offseason as opposed to the 50+ the Skins throw down every year. We seem have the line all figured out, maybe one LT away, but Evans and AQ would give us a playoff caliber O for more than one season... PS trade Kelsays salary for Boldin.

As long as they start the season sooner Im in favor. Playing regular season games in January and the Superbowl in Feb is ridiculous... its a Fall sport.

I believe the 46 is still named after the player alignment. 4 down lineman and 6 players in a 2 point stance, all considered to be in the box. The 6 includes the 2 CBs in a press coverage, a Safety, and 3 LBs. Baltimore is the only team recently I know for sure that at least somewhat used the 46 "bear" as they called it. The eagles may have though not too sure.

Why not trade our second rounder for Boldin? ALl the Cards wanted during this past draft was a 2nd. Better receiver and no legal troubles. With Trents dump off style the best RAC receiver in the league would be nice.

Hypothetically, what do you guys think we could trade the rights for Maybin for? If its a second rounder to a bad team Id say take it. Call me crazy, but I never liked the pick, I dont like it now, I predict he will bust, and Ralph can save some coin. I would have no problem with Maybin never playing a down in a Bills uni.

I have a size 50 from China. Im 6'1'' 200lbs and it fits me like a baggy t shirt would, maybe a tiny bit bigger than a size xl tshirt. Itll fit over a hoodie which is nice at games but if I wanted a more fitted shirt a 48 would do. Just FYI if anyone was going to buy one.

Now, how long until he is on the field? Will he play in any preseason game? Anyone have experience with hernias?
