  1. It shouldnt be a problem. A- I dont play online much because you get up on someone early, they quit, and it sucks again. B- There are always junkies out there who develop cracks and keygens to get around all that blocking stuff. The Microsoft office I use is pirated. You can get $500 software with all the cracks and be good to use all the features. I may have to wait till some guy releases it online but I wont worry too much about online play, the blocks will be broken.
  2. You forgot Scott. He started half of last season, he will make the team. I love hearing about our picks doing well, but we know Jaurons not going to give them a chance until week 12 when the 4 guys higher than him on the depth chart are injured... And McGee is gone either way, we never resign CBs which is why we always draft CBs. At least this one ran a 4.3
  3. I am not sure if he ever signed, but thats for jumping on that bandwagon with me '78. We should do some research, like what teams are there and where are they located, who is on the roster ext. I dont know if I can route for another JP Losman team but I did it for 4 years so we as Bills fans will have a tolerance for it. GO VEGAS, GO BILLS
  4. Not a fan of any of them as a NFL QB just yet. Bradford is not as good as made out to be. The OK offense was built on the run and a great OL, Bradford never carried his team with his arm the way great NFL QBs do. Second most of the windows he throws into are not that small, I havent seem him do it but that doesnt mean he cant. McCoy is the best as far as accuracy and he can put the ball on a rope but he cant seem to throw the deep ball very deep. Tebow is a big ? but I dont see a kid with that type of determination, athletic ability, and smarts ever failing in the NFL. QB? Maybe, but he will be in the League. I would say -- 1. Trent turns into HOF this season 2. McCoy 3. Tebow 4. Bradford
  5. Just your basic case of less is more. Ware playing 80% of the snaps at 100% is better than Ware playing 100% of the snaps at 80%. You will get more production that way evidenced by his 20 sacks. It helps even more when the opposing LT doesn't get a break because Greg Ellis is in and not Copeland Bryan...
  6. If the T picked up Wilson, then who is going to pick up the DE/LB now freed for said Ts switch to Wilson? Pick your poison, but the general rule of thumb is leave the longest route to the QB unblocked.
  7. I may be the only one here, but I would PREFER to watch the replacement players. I think it would be cool and I would accept the change for a while, especially if it got a point across. I am young enough I would even try out for the team if they held tryouts. I think replacement players would show the current overpaid players that they are not necessarily needed. (Spending on player salaries may eventually force the bills out of buffalo)
  8. I will watch the UFL and predict I will love it. The NFL is turning into a P*ssy league, and if it werent for the Bills I wouldn't follow it much. If not for the Bills I would love college football 1000x more. I think the UFL, which will have football rules unlike the XFL, will be great as all the players are realistically trying out for a big paycheck in the NFL. I hereby would like to put forward a notion that all Bills fans unite and agree to follow one UFL team during the Bills off-season and potentially have a stadium wall for said elected team. Any takers?
  9. Does anyone have the other ones of these? I know my favorite was the one where it opens by him swimming and winning the Americas cup...."is that a man with a small sail on his back??? NO NO NO thats no sail...its a 54! thats Teddy Bruschi!"
  10. I wont be happy until Maybin/Byrd prove to ME (not anyone else) that they are better than Orakpo/Brown. I would have liked to these those latter two players drafted as I believe they will be better than the two we selected (I would love to be wrong here). Other than that I loved it. We got two of the best interior OL guys, a great pass catching TE, and my personal favorite... Nic Harris. I was high on him for ever and couldn't believe the Bills went for him. In a perfect world I would have made a play to acquire Duke Robinson to add to our OL depth in the 5th rather than two more CBs in 6 and 7.
  11. I will not be buying the game. I will be downloading a PC copy using Piratebay.org -- the same site I get all my movies from (torrent site). I have a PS2 and the Madden for that system hasn't changed since about 2001. I got an Xbox controller that plugs into my comp and it couldn't be simpler -- just plug and play. I am very happy the PC version is back, because I can play the newer version ands its FREE.
  12. too bad our coaches suck...
  13. Smart tough strong athletic guys are better than the soft, dumb, fat and lazy. We should see improvement and C and one G spot. I have no doubt that the interior 3 will be better at the end of 09 than the 3 we had at the end of 08. Just from watching Butler at G for a couple seasons, I think he will be able to play at a level similar to Walkers of years past. My only ? which Im sure you all share is Walker at LT. I predict we may see Chambers stepping in at times -- ie during the no huddle -- because I feel he is a better pass blocker. If you remember early last season Walker went out during a game (maybe pre season) with a forearm injury as one of our RBs was chipping on the edge rusher and clipped Walkers arm. Having a back help on the DE is a sign that the coaches dont trust him enough on an island, trust the demised Peters did receive from the coaches. However, if our other 4 positions as a whole are better, allowing the coaching staff to give extra help to a weak spot -- say Walker on the left side -- our line as a unit should be better than last seasons. Remember, great pass protection can make an average QB look great, but even the Jim Kellys of the world look like sh*t on their back. Trents success will be based on the line and Trents trust in the line more than his own play.
  14. Skooby, you are a maroon (no typo there). I dont blame you for being tired about hearing how our coaches suck, but guess what, our coaches really really suck. The truth hurts.
  15. The Bills saved roughly 500k in cap space. Ralph saved something like 14 mil over the next couple season.
  16. Well I see that he is better than Kennerd Cox and Ellis Lankster (the last players drafted by the Bills in the last two drafts) And better than Copelan Bryan. He can thus make our team better.
  17. on third down I want him running routes not pass blocking. notice they specifically said he works with the WRs during pass blocking. He is prob still workign with the TEs during run blocking. As long as he is not a key to the D that we are passing cause he is in, and running cause he is out we are fine. This is a good thing to hear. Why have a pass catching TE block when he could be racking up 1st down receptions.
  18. There are more players that fit the 3-4 role than 4-3. Look at the pash rusher in each D. Either a OLB or DE on the right side. in a 4-3 you need a guy like Peppers/M. Williams. Those guys are no where to be found. 6-7, 300 pounds, run a 4.6 something. You can get away with a guy like Schobel and all but we dont that great a pass rush. Now look at the 3-4 rusher. James harrison is 6 foot, 240. There are tons of guys like that on every NFL roster. Guys like Joey Porter are great athletes but dont have the size, there just are not as many players as athletic as a Porter and 6-6 280+. As for the NT in a 3-4, yea there are not many 350lb humans, but the NT is asked to anchor in one spot and take up blockers. The best ones can move but movment in not as important as strength. a 350 pound man will be much stronger than they are fast. as for a 3-4 DE, they need to be 300+ pounds, strong, but not as fast or quick. the 4-3 asks the D lineman to be best and fast and quick and strong. There are guys liek that but a whole lot less than just big guys who are strong with decent feet.
  19. If they are going to cut him trade a 7th for him to make sure you land him. If I remember correctly, they wanted a 7th for him earlier in the off season when he was on the bloock. What is a 7th rounder the Bills... just another useless, camp fodder, DB-to-be-cut. When you have a roster with DEs like Kelsay as a starter and Copeland Bryan getting on the field in a real NFL game, you need major help at the position This is the best option for the Bills to improve at DE right now IMO. (I am also for aquiring that Kentucky kid Jermey Jarmon in the Supp. draft) Sounds like a 4th rounder would guarentee us being able to quire him. In essance, cut Kelsay and Copland Bryan replace with Moss, Jarmon. This would take a 4th (maybe 5th) and 7th to do. Works for me.
  20. I hate to be a realist, but shouldn't the title read "How Much Worse will the Bills Be in 2009 ?"
  21. Screw anouncing the O or the D. I always hated how TEAMS annouced individuals. Our Bills are the exact reason why. Guys liek Moorman, Parrish, Tasker, those guys have won games for the Bills but almost never get their names annouced before a game. If a guy wants his name read over the loud speaker, make a play on the field. The team should be introduced simultaniously, with all players rushing the field at once, as "Your Buffalo Bills" As for this years home opener, I would make the exception of "Now, here is TO, with your 2009 Buffalo Bills!"
  22. Jason Taylor Aaron Schoebel Justin Tuck Usi Umenyora - DE's that were passed on by "EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL HAD A CHANCE TO DRAFT HIM, AND MANY HAD 2 (or more in some cases) CHANCES" That argument is, and will continue to be, the worst reasoning for not drafting a player. I don’t care about the other teams. Their opinion does not keep a player from being one hell of a football player. James Harrison, the 2009 NFL D MVP, was undrafted and cut from Baltimore’s practice squad like 4 times. He really sucks though because every team passed on him and Baltimore cut him. Andre Reed? Yea he sucks because every team in the league passed on him multiple times! Whether you like Brown or not (I for one think he will be a force for Carolina in the future) please refrain from using that idiotic argument again. But now that I think about it, every team in the league passed on Byrd, some teams twice… no way he could be good. Even more teams passed on Levitre, and more on Nelson, and even more on Harris.... we are so screwed now…
  23. I just graduated from college, and we had Super Saturdays all the time. Just drink beer during the day, simple as that. But I have always wondered as to why the game was not played on Sat. I have yet to hear/read one good reason for keeping it on a Sunday. Once the college season is over the NFL starts playign games on Sat anyways. The playoffs have always had games on Sun and Sat. Move it to Sat.
  24. LOVE IT.... too bad Moorman is our best player
  25. I will paraphrase, but Einstien once said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results..." 7-9 here we come!
