  1. True, but let's not ignore how old Brees is and how much cap space he would free up if they were to part ways. The Saints need a complete overhaul of their defense in order for them to even remotely compete. He just had his 5th 5000 yard season yet they still had a losing record.
  2. Olson QB coached Brees at my alma mater Purdue. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Leroi hint at a possible push to land Brees?
  3. Thanks for pointing that out. I just put that there cause all the articles have that in their headlines. I will correct the title
  4. With all the bruhaha about Sherman, I thought it would be cool to shine the spotlight on something positive. I was reading online about the fullback for the Seahawks being legally deaf. It's such an inspiring story. He was featured in a commercial explaining all the hardships he overcame playing football. Great story. Thought it was worth a share Here's a link to the commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2HD57z4F8E Here is a link to an NFL.com interview: http://www.nfl.com/v...ence-in-the-NFL
  5. Haha nicely done. I dunno why I kept dragging that out
  6. You don't even know me and you're presuming to tell me to reevaluate my priorities in life. Is that a compliment? Either way no hard feelings. Im not mad. Like I said you're entitled to your opinion. If I was Nelson I wouldn't have done that. That's all. But I'm not him so doesn't matter. I just want to see our team turn it around this season. Go Bills! I'm done talking about this. for the last time
  7. Again, if you feel the need to hurl personal insults at me for having an opinion, the ball is in your court for self evaluation
  8. Oh geez. I like our chances against KC offense. But let's not get ahead of ourselves yet. KC defense is very stout. We have to be on our best behavior. Our offense has to get its act together. I am cautiously optimistic
  9. With all due respect, you're putting words in my mouth. I'm not trying to get into it with anyone on here. I was simply pointing out something that didn't sit well with me. You can disagree with me all you want, I just wont resort to patronizing your opinion. There are plenty of fans and friends of mine who share in my opinion. I know I'm just an armchair coach, but all I am saying is if I was a coach of any sport and we were down 3 scores, I wouldn't want our players to celebrate that we are 2 scores down. Especially in an elaborate fashion such as that, while we are getting served. Why unnecessarily draw the attention to ourselves like that and fire up the opposition even more? Either way, I'm sorry if this has detracted from the OP's original intention of discussion. I'm done with this topic. GO BILLS, let's beat KC!
  10. He scored the lone touchdown in a game where we LOST 44-7..... Yes he did make the score 21-7 from 21-0. But let's not leave out the fact that Dallas marched right down the field next possession and scored to make it 28-7 end of the half. And from there on we scored no more points. Therein lies the problem of the celebration.
  11. Nelson lost my respect when in the game against Dallas while we are getting blown out, he decides to celebrate a TD by kissing his Dallas cowgirl gf. That's just not kosher. Got a gf who happens to be with the opposing organization? Cool. Just don't celebrate a lone TD by smooching her while we are getting our asses handed to us.
  12. Agreed, he is very talented, but i read he plans on staying in Texas Tech for his senior year: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000264829/article/texas-tech-te-jace-amaro-tweets-hell-return-for-senior-season Here's another guy I would like us to get: http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2013/10/17/4850914/eric-ebron-catch-record-north-carolina
