  1. In defense of the d line last week two of our starters were dinged enough to miss practices last week and in defense of the rest of the d, we had two other starters out all or most of the game. And we really could have used Crowell last week it seems too. I actually can see why this young team had a defense collapse. I think Perry tried to make adjustments that kind of backfired and most of the blame lies there. Also we weren't at home and the breaks went the wrong way at critical times. The Bills on the field just couldn't/didn't execute and it happens to young teams when they are matched up badly to begin with, I had a bad feeling about that game before. I also worry about how our d will do against the Fins. Hope they get these problems settled before then.
  2. We will be FINE after the bye. really JK but hope we see some of the kid on a rotation basis
  3. If I am Mark Kelso I am on the phone to Trents agent and the FO and anyone else who will listen to me to buy some of my goofy looking helmets. The big head bills should lead the NFL to the land of no head injuries. Seriously. We don't want a great QB lost for his career because of a PREVENTABLE problem. BTW watching the replay on NFL highlights it looked fairly clean but I could see him getting a fine just because it is the QB and he did knock him out (not that I think it would be fair).
  4. yeah I watched it with that too Justin sucks for me,if you guys know PLEASE remind me any time this week, Justin quit wotking for me 10 mins left 4th quarter
  5. ok here is one for you I don't have a PC have a mac so the things Dean is talking about don't work on my computer and the link that is posted here works like crap (I am in bangkok and the internet here is super slow! ). I have to refresh every minute and it really just ends up me watching the Yahoo game day thing to know what is going on. I was wondering if anyone knows an alternitive to that link that was posted last week. 2 or 3 weeks ago (Raiders game) the other link that got posted (with out the chat box off to the side) was great! It stayed connected and I saw my first Bills game in ages!!! I think it was the rack111 thing but I couldn't find a Bills game there last week. ANY HELP would be GREAT!!!! Going to wake up early and watch again IF I can see it. I have seen a few this season and I have Monday off this week so I won't be tired for work for a change, last weeks 3am start was really hard on Monday LOL.
  6. I agree with beerball, this is funny keep calling eachother names and saying f.u. Franklin University is a great school! or maybe you meant www.finlandia.edu/ which reminds me of this (check out number 9) which also makes me laugh. Add to that a large database of company/college Acronyms and you have some very funny addresses. TOP TEN E-mail Addresses(warning may be offensive to some) 10. 7. I like JJ and saw some good stuff from him in preseason, I didn't see it, did he play other than STs last week? Will Hardy be the only one they use this week? I thought we might see JJ a little with Roscoe out (Steve Johnson too, although he is back up on the other side according to the depth chart). My other questions have to do with two injured players will Derek Fine be back after the bye? And when did the Bills put Matt Baker (the qb) on IR? I wasn't aware he was injured but was looking at the roster and there he is (Honestly, I thought he was cut). Do you think they did that because he was decent in camp (although if I remember he came here later in the camp no?) and they are looking to next year, what is his injury? Last thought when Peters was on the bench because he is rust personified, was Demetris Bell in there? He is the back up, no (I saw that game but didn't notice)? woo whoooo 100th post! btw congrats to the Bills and Lee for getting it done! GOOO BILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLS!!!
  8. I remember, he made the pro bowl too. He was return man, too. From Buffalo bills .com "Jauron was drafted in the fourth round of the 1973 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions and also by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1973 Major League Baseball draft in June. He spent his first five NFL seasons with Detroit. He started at free safety as a rookie and was a Pro Bowl selection in 1974 after leading the NFC in punt return average (16.8). He played the final three seasons of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, and finished with a career total of 26 interceptions and two touchdowns. After retiring from the NFL, Jauron worked two years for Nautilus Sports Medical Industries before launching his coaching career. A graduate of Yale University with a bachelor's degree in history, Jauron holds several school rushing records, including consecutive 100-yard rushing games (16).
  9. I think that and the time that they take in the huddle on a pass give it away. Hope it changes.
  10. your kidding right, Josh third and long Reed has done nothing but make clutch catches.
  11. Well, I for one could see the team putting a tag on Greer. Have to think it is expensive but his position takes a few years to learn and develop into. It is a big price tag but only for one year, one more year for the rookie would be great. I think we will know more as this Mcgee injury plays out though, too. How will Youboty and Mc Klevin do? It would of course be great if he was willing to stay with us and reup now but is that likely??? I doubt it but maybe. We would be short at depth at his position if someone else was injured IMO. Next year I can see it but not yet. I would love to see him stay on the team, one of my favorite players. Hope they can and do get Evans and Jason done during the season becuase I can't deal with reading the board all off season with the business issues hanging.
  12. Conner you and Crackz Eater are working under some seriously flawed logic. If it is just newbz crazies that notice this.....................well Ask Jauron if this team should lose to anyone on purpose. I really for the first 6 pages or so thought Crackz Eater was joking and wish he was. I think the plan is to beat our own confrence as well.
  13. I really hope your right. I agree the Bills are young and as such make some young team mistakes. It will happen earlier in games too, they won't in most probability win all of the games. I am not bashing, I am just saying. They are most likely going to have some bad games. Even older teams do that. All that being said I can see they are vastly improved and I think they are headed in the right direction. I love 4- 0, I love the way they have come back from averse starts, it shows a lot to be encouraged about. I can see a playoff team, I can see a long term contender. That is all I can hope to ask for. Oh yeah, GO BILLS!!!!!
  14. Huh? Think that was because it wasn't S. Johnson, but in reality I have no idea what you are talking about.
  15. love the confusious jokes keep them coming
  16. The come back game ......................... sh-- I went to NYC that week, I was moving there and my girlfriend and I went to a bar on thrid ave and we watched the first 2 quarters.........not blacked out there. There was a friend that we had who lived over in alphabit city, we wanted to go and visit his studio (we are artists) so after a 1/2 of looking like sh-- to the oilers we said ok it's over, no one can come back from that. Not after seeing the way they are playing. So we used the phone booth in the bar (remember those?) and called our friend and he said oh, come over right now. I got stuff I gotta do later and I won't be around. So we went............................. Next day we are in a train in the subway and I see the picture on the back of someones NYPost with the big caption "THEY CHOKE!!!!!" and the picture of Moon looking down at the turf. I am like man!! we gotta get a newspaper. The Bills won! I have seen the replay of it several times since then but I still can't believe we didn't stay and watch....................... I couldn't turn off the game last week even though I live in Bangkok and have to get up 3 hours after it ends, I am glad I didn't, that was a sweet win. But not seeing my BBs win the biggest comeback in NFL history to this day makes it damm near impossible to turn a game off (even after 8 years of suckyness).
  17. I hung up some paintings in his house once (he collected americana folk art) in his kitchen was a wall full of photos of Joanne Woodward (I think that was his wife's name) and their daughters, the kids looked just like her. I was disappointed he wasn't home at the time, I always liked him as an actor. I met a few famous people working in the art world that way and working in galleries. I met Leoanardo di caperrio once, the year he made Titanic (and 18 million dollars). He was stoned LOL. Elton John was such a fairy!! (no sh-- I would have never guessed right) Moby was cool to meet too, nice down to earth guy. When I worked in a resturant I got to know Patty Smith a bit and thought about asking her out, she was super super nice.
  18. I think the STs will come around it is early and a lot of them are young, BA is the man. Shouldn't someone be jumping over the FG line to block one soon?
  19. Well to be honest, we could have Cutler.
  20. In reply to the title of this thread STOP IT. no we don't! Don't be silly. For real.
  21. ^^what he said Plus Josh has shown up more with the comption, it is all good
  22. Didn't that Man U purchase send him restructuring hi s debts too? Yikes
  23. I didn't really notice Butler had too bad of a game either. Maybe he is just trying to cover up for his rusty right tackle and undersized center, who actually I thought was really kind of crap in this game too. I liked him before this, but I see what people are complaining about now, he really gets pushed back and has trouble holding out a big guy at times. They certainly don't try to run up the middle with him in there much, which seems like it would be natural for ML. I think coupled with the rusty one it was hard to watch. I think the whole offense had some crappy plays coupled with bad FIELD POSITION the first 3 quarters. But that can happen at times. I was soooooo like "CRAPPP AGAIN?" when we were starting from the 4 in that 96 yard drive. To think, I almost turned it off, so I could wake up for work in 4 hours (I live in Bangkok) but didn't, couldn't........ They really could use a sweep with the speed they have on this side of the line (when Jason shakes off the rust, that is and what else do you use a fullback for? Actually with the cuts into the seams that both ML and FJ can make, it really would make some sense, winter is coming). I also wondered when they would misdirection the defense more (we have a screen pass in the playbook no?) the pass out to the right after the pretty playaction showed how effective that it is not to go where they expect you to. The Raiders were blitzing and teeing off a lot, they could have used more slow developing misdirection to counter it. I wondered if Trent is reading it or Turk doesn't want to make it too complicated. They also really take so much longer when they are in the huddle at times (pass) that it telegraphs the play to the other team before they are at the line. Okay enough with the negitivity. I am so really impressed with ML and TE and the kinds of stuff they have done in the first 3 games. These guys are both in their second years (what a frigging draft!!! Poz too!). They both have the true grit that we so badly needed (again Poz too and Whitner, it may of been a late tackle but you could see they were fired up after it). Actually let me add Reed to it too. He played great, he blocks like a Muther F*&\ker, and came up big with some great routes. I think he is the Greer of the O this year. Lee really had a bad day LOL, it was good he stepped up. I really thought Trent wasn't going to get up after the Parish TD (That was 380 lbs landing on him at full charge). The extra conditioning really seems to have payed off. I loved seeing him walking down the sideline and revving the guys up too. I also noticed JP when he was congratulating someone after a big play. I wonder, if they go far, will he still be itching so bad to get out of here, he does have a role here if he wants it and is willing to stay. I have some stuff to say about the Faders (wow, that fits that team on Sunday) I kind of think that both of Oakland's lines are pretty dammed impressive. Why they went to zone and playing not to lose is beyond me though (I am pretty damm happy they did though, too). Their secondary is good as well, the LBs well......... can't have everything. Maybe the D coach is really trying to get the HC fired, or he never watched the Bills defensive efforts in some heartbreakers last year. The have some players that I didn't ever consider to be that good before (and if you watched the Denver game they played badly and you know what I mean, but first games can be like that). I think we beat a pretty good team with a good amount of talent that is maybe 2 - 4 players and a Qb getting some maturity away from being in the post season (sound familar?). They really have to get crazy Al to do something though. If he leaves this wound open, he will be stuck with more losses and no choices, and another great draft pick LOL. The LBs need an upgrade that is for sure. They have plenty of weapons on O but they just can't do much more than run at this point. I expect if things go well and they handle the coaching problem better they will be damm good for a few years again. I thought field position had a lot to do with the play on both sides of the ball, I was miffed as to why Roosco took that one ball deep that cost us points (although he redeemed himself). I wonder if McKelvin should be back there at times but maybe he is learning on the job and it will pay off big soon. He seems to have a knack for getting tackled by the kickers though LOL (although theirs is a big beastly guy, got say and for the most part he killed us with his punts). Our STs need some time to gel, again, they are going to get good, the youngest players on the team made the mistakes. Johnson got plowed over at least twice that I saw (I think it was him). Wilson was a monster out there though, Ellison too. It will come together, I have faith in Bobby. But lousy Field Position is tough, the D can really tee off more. Our D got some of that let them down to the gate, then don't open it, that we saw soooo much of last year and it really saved the game that they didn't give up the TDs early. Some of them were in on every play, I thought Denny looked good too, but I was like stoppppp bending! already. I think we will miss Crow a bit too but we solidified and showed containment when it counted, they played a good game to keep us in it. Youboty makes a nice LBer and really isn't that much different of a size then Ellison, kind of interesting to see them go to the 5 CBs when he was out with the pointer. I was really impressed with them all on the run game and that TD pass was just a good ball to a fast guy in the right place, I doubt Poz misses the next one like that. Let's face it some days the team is going to stink up the joint (arrgh costly penalties!!! and bad line play). They are young and making strides though. The most important thing about the ugly win, is it points out mistakes to the players and coaches, that they can adjust as time goes by................... and they WON! How great is that...........! Great for building confidence on and great for keeping things in perspective.
  24. I thought he was saying he is dark reddish and I was wondering a maroon what? Man, am I a maroon now.
