  1. He has been asked similar questions. Listen to his interview on wgr yesterday. He was mentioning how he told Roman multiple times last year to do what John Fox did by going for two at the end of the Raiders-Saints game Sunday if the situation presented itself. Does anyone actually believe that? By my count, the only time they even had the opportunity was against the patriots on monday night. He'll say what you want to hear, but his actions on game day contradict his answers. The guy claims to be a straight shooter, but he's completely full of horse manure.
  2. simple answer? our fat-ass coaches are trying to put a square peg into a round hole let him do what he does best...roll-out, improvise, etc he's not a precise pocket-passer and he may never be, so let him do his thing...there is enough skill on this offense to score more than 7 points against the ravens if they were playing in a snowstorm
  3. I believe it was a 35 yarder. Ok, maybe not a bomb, but as a Bills fan, my view on offense is a bit skewed.
  4. What are you talking about? I really question whether you watch the games. Other than Duke blowing coverage what more did you want them to do? Without that miscue, flacco would have had under 200 yards. And they were good in run support. The Perriman bomb was a perfect throw. I'm trying to think of what else they gave up. And how did Steve Smith slap them around, literally or figuratively? Him and Gilmore had a shoving match which saw Smith walk away first. Was it the whopping 19 yards receiving?
  5. Wont be a popular pick but...Flutie If non-qb, moulds
  6. so let me get this straight...sammy watkins declared himself a bills fan months before the draft because he knew they would trade up to get him and give him a "bigger" contract? he must have found a loophole in the rookie wage scale that says if you get drafted by your favourite team, you get a bonus you are the funniest poster on this board, albeit unintentionally
  7. he actually was on record saying that way before the draft, but keep going...
  8. they didn't sneak it again...the play after the challenge was a dive by mccoy
  9. hahaha excellent
  10. you're right...he did make a nice one yard catch at the goal line and THEN fumbled it into the end zone honestly though, it's on the coaches to tell him that they were playing football and not hot potato
  11. There are many ways to skin a cat. The fact that the guy in charge of the roster thinks in simplistic terms like this is troubling, to say the least.
  12. I still maintain that our roster isn't all that bad. It's our coaches that suck. And if you don't have a QB that can overcome that, then you get what you've gotten the last 16 years.
  13. Buddy was enamoured with him. Denver was set on Von Miller from all reports. Newton was this close to being a Bill. Luck wanted another year of not getting laid in school. Bastard.
  14. agreed...he's got more talent than all those guys bad luck with health...worse luck with crappy QBing and coaching
  15. After watching the offense struggle yesterday, the one thing I kept thinking was, what's missing? And it finally hit me. We need a fullback who doesn't block and fumbles into the endzone. Thank God this guy was still available! Championship!
  16. Dareus might be the best player on the team. But every time I see Cam Newton do things a Bills QB couldn't do in his dreams, I curse that goofy ogre Andrew Luck for staying in school an extra year.
  17. Drew Brees had 98 on one play today.
  18. Next year's starting QB for the Bills? Tom Brady! It will only cost us a first round pick and our offense will look pretty good for half a season.
  19. I like tyrod but he was awful today. Would never look beyond his first read. Locked on to the receiver. The offense was so predictable anyway, and he made it worse by looking like a complete amateur out there.
  20. First off, I'm not saying he's uncoverable. He's not strong enough to consistently avoid getting jammed. But his speed is unmatched. Not just his top speed, but how quickly he accelerates. You keep coming back with stats. And nobody is arguing his lack of production. But you think he's actually not a talented player, which you need more than stats to justify. I believe he has only had one game where he was the feature receiver and he showed really well (home vs Jets in 2014). Also, the scrub Hogan you are referencing just got a pretty decent deal from Bill Belichick. And a QB like Orton is not going to be able to take advantage of what Goodwin's best at anyway. Hogan's strengths worked better in that offense. The Bills haven't had good QB play here in a long time, and now that we seemingly do, we are running a run-first offense. So it's natural that fans like you think guys like Woods, Goodwin, etc. suck. They're not afforded the same opportunities as players on teams with more advanced offenses.
  21. Is he supposed to throw the ball to himself? Or design plays where he's the primary receiver? The bills haven't exactly had a QB who goes through his reads before throwing the ball since he's been here. Even Orton would get rid of it quick to avoid getting hit. If you watch the game, instead of just quoting boxscores, you'd have a better idea of why people know he's more than just the scrub you paint him out to be.
  22. Dammit. That sounds pretty accurate to me, sadly.
  23. Ryan Denney showed up at practice today http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0565909774286200416-4
