  1. Don't worry folks. We won the off season.
  2. Yup. And you need those posterior cavities to win in the NFL (NiceguysFinishLast)
  3. He's probably higher than you'd think but number one has to be Vick. For a brief time, he could win games on his own. Then again, Tyrod did that against the Titans last year too.
  4. Wish we had more players like him. Not even talent-wise, as that's impractical. Just his "eff you" attitude.
  5. It's tomorrow. Says so right at the end of today's piece. Get your popcorn ready. Magary's great at this stuff.
  6. Apropos for all the drugs that flow through that place
  7. He should rest until week 4
  8. Ridiculous. Why not just bring back Brandon spikes while you're at it?
  9. You've never heard of a pass being thrown early? How is that a "new one"? Not saying it definitively was. That one may be all on Goodwin. I don't think I'm the one that needs to watch the play again. It's one thing to say you think the guy's not a good player. But you keep reiterating how he's actually not fast now either? Ugh..
  10. the first throw was on the money, no doubt...but was it thrown earlier than it should have been? we don't know...goodwin didn't look back for the ball until it was too late...maybe that's on him, maybe it's not your criticism of the second throw just shows your bias against the guy...just because he's incredibly fast doesn't mean he can't be overthrown...it was a bad throw, whether you want to admit it or not
  11. what game were you watching? he got separation on both of those throws...one he adjusted to too late, the other was an overthrow
  12. Fair, but the contract is structured in a way where that can still happen. Basically they are paying him more this year to lock him down for less than what they'd have to give him if he lights it up. Even if the odds of that happening aren't great, you have to take that chance considering how important the position is. And in my mind, he showed enough last season to take that chance but not enough to declare him the long-term solution. And this contract reflects that. I'm not a big Whaley guy, but this is a good deal for the team. The QB position, rightly or wrongly, has way too much say in how your team performs. And there is a dearth of talent at the position. You need to act if you think you have your guy. It's not like the Bills have a blue-chipper waiting in the wings to come save the franchise. Taylor's play could mask Whaley's other questionable decisions (Rex, Clay/Shady contracts) to the point where it keeps him employed beyond this year.
  13. I agree. They should have gotten Aaron Rodgers for this upcoming season. And what was the point of drafting Shaq Lawson and Reggie Ragland when they were going to get injured? Did the front office not see how well JJ Watt and Luke Kuechly played last year? Why not get both of those guys instead? Underwhelmed..
  14. Y'all need to get back to your piddly jobs
  15. You must have had a rough childhood, from the looks of it. I hope you find happiness one day.
  16. By watching the games. Granted, he hasn't played in as many as most of us would have liked. But just because a guy is small doesn't mean he can't be an effective blocker.
  17. I've always been a Goodwin fan. Blazing speed, good blocker, and he's got a bit of swagger to him. He's had some bad luck with injuries but I'm not surprised he's showing well so far. Guy's got talent.
  18. According to lacanfora, it's likely to be a bridge deal of 2 years at 30m
  19. Wow. What a dense post. And you're being condescending on top of that. In your opinion, if Tyrod plays well enough this season to elicit a big contract from someone, the Bills will still decide to tag Gilmore and let Taylor walk? Instead of the other way around? That would be a fireable offense by Whaley but I'm sure you and your pom-pom waving chums would still justify it somehow. The only way Tyrod is not on this team in 2017 is because of injury or if the Bills think they have a better option at QB. Which they won't.
  20. The op is obviously being facetious. But sure, let's start another thread where we can bash a late round pick who beat the odds and did nothing but praise the city and fans while he was here and continued to do so after he left. Despite all the mouth breathers that wanted his head on a spike for dropping a catch that would have gotten us to a lofty 3-8. How this guy gets everyone so riled up about being anti-clutch yet that incompetent clown Fitzpatrick pretty much gets a pass despite being way worse is interesting to say the least.
  21. His ceiling is quite high. Guy is already the fastest QB in the league. Throws a beautiful deep ball. Isn't a knucklehead. I'd take the risk and sign him rather than take the risk that he ends up costing way more a year down the road or costing too much that we let him go. He didn't grow up watching the Bills and he won't take a hometown discount. And he shouldn't. It's a business and he'll go wherever the money is. It's a QB driven league. You gotta take chances when you think you have your guy.
  22. He probably does suck, but save for gurley, the rams are a black hole for offensive talent.
  23. "Uh oh" - Bruce DeHaven...Jan 3, 2000
  24. He is awful. I don't think I've hated a player as much as him (on-field performance only, obviously). He wasn't the worst QB we've had, but he was just a smidge above completely incompetent so they kept this talentless clown on the team for way longer than necessary. How many times did this guy blow games at the end? Yet everyone gives Stevie Johnson more crap for that than Fitzpicksix. Whatever money he makes, he should give 99% of it to Gailey for masking his many shortcomings. If I had to watch one more attempted pass of his slip through his baby hands while he looked around aimlessly for the ball (which usually fell behind him), I might have put a hole through my TV.
