Saw some clips of Manuel launching the ball downfield on youtube and he looked great. Nassib is in a good situation. He can learn from Eli and is playing for a model franchise. We'll see if Marrone can turn this thing around because it's been a long time and we deserve it.
This pick just set the franchise back another 3 years. What's worse, they'll probably be in a position to draft a true franchise QB next year and will pass on him waiting to see if Manuel will "develop." Better luck next coaching gig Marrone.
The Bills have so many holes trading down makes alot of sense provided the Bills scounts don't feel any of the QB's will be capable NFL starters. Nix said he felt there would be 2-3 franchise QB's in the draft. Was he making a guess based on simple probability or does he have a sense of who they are? We will find out tomorrow if he was blowing smoke up our asses.
He is still a quality player. I'm suprised the Dolphins cut him and even more suprised no one has signed him yet. This woould fill a big need for the Bills who have many.
Yes, because after four years of being involved with the scouting department including being in full control of three drafts, he has netted the Bills tremendous talent and in no way are they in a full rebuild mode. :wallbash:
Matt Barkley is the most likely guy the Bills will draft at #8. Not saying I agree with it, but I think this is the most likely thing that will occur considering who will be available and the Bills needs..
EJ Manuel? He'll be out of the league in 3-4 years
DB's don't win games. With as average as the QB play is in the NFL, if you can stop the run consistently you have a good chance to win. The Bills have glaring needs at the LB position.
