Falcons bringing back Quinn & GM
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why? Is the only thing that comes to mind. As someone who lives in Atlanta and follows the Falcons by default of loving football and listening to sports talk, I don’t get it. Blank is quietly a bad owner when it comes to football operations. Blank is a great humanitarian but not great at owning a NFL team. During the Julio Jones negotiations Blank told the media that Julio would retire a Falcon. That’s not the first time Blank has meddled in negotiations. Blank has consistently backed Dimitrof. The Falcons have brought in numerous ex-GM’s to help, including Pioli to help pick lineman. Dimitrof struggled mightily trying to find good linemen. Quinn and Dimitrof are friends it appears. Almost seems to me as if Blank didn’t want to lose Dimitrof so he allowed him to keep Quinn. If the Falcons start off bad next year it’s going to get ugly quick. -
This might be the long play by the Saints. They want him next year and they can get some of his suspension out of the way this year. it’s very odd timing by the Saints.

AB in Miami before a Super Bowl, what could go wrong?

I like how quick he is and showing no limp at all. His movement looks very fluid. I’d like to see him get a couple series against the Jets to get some game reps before the WC, if the staff thinks he is good to go.

Fun Topic: Which WR Do You Choose?

I doubt anyone who played for Saban is fragile mentally. You might be right on the physical part, but I’m sure the medical staffs will give him a once over. -

I am with you. I think Bandit was trying to show how Jon Brown stacks up against two other WR’s who are seen as WR1. I’m not sure but he may also of been showing how Cooper who is a FA might be a nice compliment to Brown. But that’s reaching on my part. -

I was thinking it was Michael Thomas, just checked his stats and appears it indeed is. Thomas was a second round pick and the sixth WR taken in that 2016 draft. Just so guys don’t panic if the Bills don’t grab one in the first. -
Happy Holidays to all!!!

Safe travels my friend and Merry Christmas. That’s hilarious. I have a four month old and can’t wait till the days he gets to open presents and see the look on his face. Kids bring Christmas back to that magical place. side note, Santa use to bring one present to mine and my sisters Foot of the bed. For me it was always a smaller toy I could play with in bed. I think this was Santa’s way of trying to buy mom and dad some extra sleep, a present they really enjoyed:) -
Benchmarking Ford vs. the offensive tackle class
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ny33's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly right. He has had some bad plays but that all part of being a rookie. He will be given next year to show progression. Look at Dawkins at LT, Beane and McDermott are willing to give players who show promise time to develop. -

Do you think we are seeing a slight up tick in importance of having solid right tackle play? Can RPO becoming more prevalent have anything to do with this? -

Kaleb McGary in Atlanta is another RT who was a first round pick. He has had a season similar to Ford. What do you think about McGary? -
Watt designated to return from IR

Interesting to see what he can do. When he had the back injury a few years ago he looked totally different later in the year standing on the sideline. His entire body was shrunk. I think he was watching the Pats game that year and the camera kept showing him. -

I wonder what the legal level of THC can be in a players body. Marshawn strikes me as a guy who was enjoying some Marijuana up until very recently. -
The three primary goals vs the *Patriots
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry but this poster consistently in every thread sticks up for the Pats. I’ve even asked this poster if he is on some level a Pats fan. He has yet to answer and has ignored the question repeatedly. It’s all fine. I am allowed my opinion based off numerous posts by this poster. I am putting him on ignore because frankly he appears as a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I won’t have to listen to him stick up for Pats cheating, which he has in another thread. -

You are a 100% correct. Every QB misses throws. Rodgers makes some poor decisions still. -

Edelman admits faking head injury in Bills game
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Another Pats fan. Do you have any trouble cheering for a team that has a head coach that was caught cheating, numerous players suspended for HGH and PED’s, Edelman had to sit out last year, and an owner who got caught receiving illegal massages from women involved in sex trafficking? The list goes on and on for the Pats. Sorry, these are facts. -

There you are. So you have consistently not answered the question. Are you a Pats fan on some level? You are right America is a free country. I believe you are from Toronto. Look I don’t really care that Pats fan come on here if they will come on when they lose too. I do have an issue with Pats fans coming on here after a Pats win and trolling. -

I’ve noticed this condescending attitude with Pats fans. It is as if they feel that since the team they WATCH has won they somehow know more about football. I don’t understand why Mods let them post on here. What’s just as bad is we have a few posters here who are Pats fans in drag. Has a Pats fan ever started a thread on here? Are the allowed too?
