  1. Past hour
  2. Dirty player, dirty citizen.
  3. My expectations in a reset year, considering we still have a top-3 QB in the league. Floor: Wild Card Good outcome: Win the Division Probably unrealistic: 1st round bye Once we get in the playoffs, anything can happen.
  4. Let's hope that all of this charisma translates to the field more than it did at FSU. Oliver's very similar in that regard, a character, and he hasn't lived up to his draft status.
  5. Isabella and Hamler are similar in that they were smallish, fast, early day 2 draft prospects that failed on their original teams which have proven to be rather poor situations. There's a good chance that the Bills liked them in their draft years and are thus willing to give them a chance within their organizational walls and see what they might unlock. There is such a thing as bad luck with injuries and poor environments where one's career begins. Josh repeats his dad's "bloom where you are planted" mantra but there are some franchises that are asphalt parking lots surrounded by overfilled dumpsters. Little chance to make roots and bloom there. They are also decent candidates for one or two of the six veteran slots on the practice squad. Remember the Bills 2022 season when they were running thin in their WR group heading into the playoffs and brought Beasley and Brown back late in the season? I think Beane might be inclined to do more to prevent that from happening again.
  6. The Chiefs have now won the AFC West 8 years in a row, and won double-digit games 9 years in a row. During that span, they have 3 Super Bowl wins and 4 appearances. Nobody is expecting less this year. Before them, the Patriots had 17 straight seasons with double-digit wins. They won the AFC East 16 of those years. The only year they didn't was when Tom Brady tore his ACL in Week 1, and they still somehow finished with an 11-5 record. Around the same time, the Colts had 9 straight seasons with double-digit wins. Won the AFC South in all but one of those years (12-4 and still ended in second place). Then Peyton Manning missed an entire year with a neck injury and was released. After that down year, they did it 3 more years in a row with Andrew Luck. Even the Steelers now have 20 straight years finishing .500 or above. They haven't had a losing season since Tommy Maddox was the starting quarterback. Bottom line... there are no legitimate excuses for not winning 10-11 plus games and at least making the playoffs. The idea that we "must go through a down year" to re-set the roster and fix the salary cap is complete nonsense. If we can't go 3-4 seasons without needing to rebuild and reboot everything, then Brandon Beane isn't good enough as a General Manager, and he wasn't doing a proper job of preparing for the future. Now whether that expectation is reality, I don't know. Beane's actions appear (at least from the outside) to be a guy fully expecting a rebuild season, and then reloading a year from now. Hoping that I'm wrong.
  7. What’s your question?
  8. Got lucky hiring the right front office, and got lucky drafting Allen. I think a 3rd party firm actually did the hiring search for McDermott after Rex Ryan flopped. His hires outside of that between both franchises have mostly been duds. Imagine if the Sabres hired a top-10 rookie head coach/GM combo, and got a McDavid/McKinnon level talent at the same position they just drafted Benson. Things would be different…
  9. I don't think there is going to be one guy on this offense that defenses key in on every week like they did on Stef. Certainly not early in the year anyway. In a sense that might give us a little bit of an advantage early on in the season if Josh genuinely can spread the ball around. I expect at some point teams will revert to a "don't let Samuel win deep and force Kincaid to break off his routes short rather than threaten the seam." But it will take some time for defenses to workout how this offense is going to run and if we can hit the ground ready to roll in week 1 that might even be in our favour.
  10. Kim was going to do huge things in the NFL and for Women in the league. her heart stopped for a considerable amount of time. So without knowing 100% all the facts I would say she has suffered permanent brain damage
  11. Your stats have no context. Almost all of those are from his rookie year 2020; 13 games, 20 recs, 381 yards, and the 3 TDs. He last played in 2022, 7 games, 7 receptions, for 165 yds. We'll never know what could've been for him due to those injuries, but the Bills are taking a flyer, and if it pays off, he can fill the McKenzie role, only Hamler is good.
  12. he was a dirty player. under the guise of intensity and being a hard hitter the guy went beyond the level of acceptability when it comes to sportsmanship.
  13. Whoever they paid to do it. There are plenty of accountants, and accounting firms, with zero integrity whatsoever.
  14. Tried to pull a Beane with the double move up to get Allen...just didn't end up working out for them tho.
  15. That's interesting that you say that. Given that the team, as some have expressed in the Kim thread, has lost it's bloom for Terry, what would he do if offered that $10B. The cost to leave Buffalo for elsewhere is $850M, which seems like chump change in that regard. A completely new majority owner might not view it the same. Point being, that $850M is hardly the poison pill that many seem to believe it is.
  16. I think those are the implants you are looking at in his wife's chest.
  17. Not only that but Diggs was basically the automatic read in obvious man coverage looks.
  18. My assumption would be some level of damage to her brain unfortunately.
  19. I mean he did run a 4.27 40...dude is a burner and has made some plays in the NFL.
  20. I think Shavers could give us what we may have hoped to get in Troy Franklin...in the respect of that sneaky, fast vertical deep threat.
