Why Terron Armstead retired (His knee hurt) (Clickbait Article)
NoSaint replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
well if it was you… It seems a lil more than just a sore knee- I literally couldn’t walk. After a game on Sunday, I wouldn’t be able to walk on my own, under my own power, until Wednesday, Thursday. So I was only able to play under the pain meds. I couldn’t put any pressure on my knee, so it was like, I can’t keep doing that to myself.” -
you "liked this post" I don't like it. I don't like it was necessary but here we are I knew it was coming eventually Im surprised it took this long to be honest @BillsFanNC you can ***** about CNN all day long I think you pay more attention to that network than most americans do tbh

I am all about this guy coming back focused and better conditioned for full NFL season. More focused on how he can avoid the abuse he took when teams wanted to shut him down early. Fix his mind over matter. Smoother with his get offs from the block and extend his arms with purpose to pull the ball down while being wrastled by Dbs ha ha Keon has a purty good sized upside imho. 1b perhaps

Nope. The narrative was he died as a result of bear spray or the like from some MAGA rioter. Coroner report specifically ruled that out. Natural causes. Sorry. -
@ExWNYer@SinceThe70s@Gugny Some of these convos made me tune into WFAN more this week than I have in over 10 years. I was actually kind of surprised how much they were talking about the Knicks. It seemed 2000-2010 when I listen more regularly it was always Yankees/Mets and Giants/Jets talk 95% of the time locally. I thought it wasn't like awful in small doses to listen to the WFAN. But there's only so much of that culture I can take. The host on the weekend was saying Evan Roberts was texting him at 11pm about who the Mets biggest rival is. I mean I know it's his livelihood to talk sports but he really should seriously consider finding some spiritual or other outlets in his life. And hey the Mets are doing what they are supposed to do. Sweep opponents like Colorado not just get 2 out of 3 games (wow Colorado really is bad). This should be a pretty funny YouTube channel for the NFL season. The New York Jokes. Father and son at it again

I mean That as a snarky gesture I relate to MAGA. it means they want to bully Americans and they do and they ARE. and it starts right at the top of the food chain I pity the fool protesters. Theyre outgunned. I pity the future dead officers too

And this is how you "win". cuz your life aint gonna get better. the basement will remain your abode. -
this is for BillsFanNC is the fact a guy was involved in a high stress situation wherein later he suffered a health issue and died. Isn't it reasonable to assume that what exacerbated his stress was related to his death? I swear common sense is NOT common enough

?. Send more troops. Use rubber bullets? real bullets. What do you mean by raise your fists? -
does violent protest really surprise anyone? I predicted that law enforcement officers would possibly be attacked at some point and even possibly lose their lives at some point in this debacle I am Pro law enforcement. The guys who are following orders aren't at fault for this mess. If you think people are going to kick back and watch while officers from ICE obey orders .... pfft well good luck with that one MAGA raise yer FIST un*****ingbelievable you didn't see this coming

This is how the propaganda reliable media works. They tell their useful idiots a narrative and no matter if they report accurately later, the original narrative always remains the truth. Useful idiot C section fully ideologically subverted. -
Exactly. The original tweet made a mountain of a mole hill. Since I live in the Bills' "territory", I get to see every Bills game via OTA stations without an antenna because I have cable. ESPN is included in my cable tier. My cable system (Spectrum) also offers NFL Red Zone on a sports tier which provides TD plays from every game live or within minutes for a monthly fee. I start it before the first week of the regular season and end the subscription when NFL Red Zone finishes for the season ... 5 months max. Several other services have monthly plans, including Netflix. Depending on the schedule, you might only need to subscribe for 2 or 3 months. I subscribe yearly to Peacock because it's so cheap, and I get to watch the Tour de France live. I use Amazon Prime's free shipping (and free returns) so often that my savings on shipping pay for the subscription. Of course, someone intent on watching every NFL game live (I personally don't believe that's actually possible for a person to do) probably doesn't have many other interests. Besides, it's physically impossible for a person to watch every minute of every single NFL game live even if the technology is there to do so. Even with split screens or multiple tvs, you can't divide your attention equally every minute to all the games, so you're going to miss something. NFL Red Zone (available from my cable company on s sports tier for about $10/month for 3 or 4 months max) works well, plus NFLN has replays of many games.

Good point about Josh on the deeper throws. He has the arm to throw a bullet 50 yards and knows it But struggles to lead his receiver open still , on the long ball at least. Maybe he is surprised when a player breaks into open field and he has time in the pocket lol and gets giddy 😇

Does this sound like "support" to you? https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/national-guard-troops-arrive-in-los-angeles-to-quell-protests-on-orders-from-trump The confrontation broke out as hundreds of people protested in front of the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles, where several of the newly-arrived National Guard troops stood shoulder to shoulder behind plastic riot shields. Video showed uniformed officers shooting off the smoke-filled canisters as they advanced into the street, causing protesters to retreat. It was not immediately clear what prompted the use of chemical irritants or which law enforcement agency fired them.

I myself and not looking to cast blame anywhere. Not my thing. Always , what could we have done better. Realistically I am sure players and Coaches looked at a few plays late last year with similar thoughts at least some of your players are going to beat or broken down within their assignment each play. So each player needs an option or 3 to compensate Josh know Dion like brother. When he saw Jones was going to mess him up lol They both might have had a teachable moment 🙂

My response was mostly sarcasm too. If you think deploying the National Guard is a political stunt than I have a bridge to sell you. -
Then why grudgingly? Is it because I can’t let go of “he’s mentally fit”?

This is the 1st sentence in that story. Terron Armstead’s decision to retire from the NFL two months ago was about more than just normal wear and tear after 12 years of professional football. I'm assuming you didn't click the link.
