The Bills lost because they scored with 13 seconds left. And their defense couldn’t stop KC from tying it, with, you guessed it, 13 seconds left. which is why the game is colloquially referred to as the “13 seconds game” by just about every single human being on the planet.

Cool you don't need to respond That's why the NFL changed the rule have a good day bro All your posts make me sad
-
Man, this just makes me sad
-
I mean the NFL literally changed their playoff rules because Josh Allen didn't touch the ball That's an indirect admission that their rules were wrong and both teams deserve to touch it... The bills intrinsically lost to a coin toss because Josh Allen would have scored if we got the ball first They could not stop him either
-
Here I thought the game went down in NFL lore as “13 seconds.”
-
It went to overtime the Chiefs won the coin flip and got the ball If the Bills win the coin cost Josh Allen does the same thing goes down there and scores The NFL never feels bad about anything and they literally changed the rules after that because they knew the bills got hosed by not touching the ball
-
…… the coin flip?
-
Lost it to a coin flip If we win the coin flip Josh goes down and scores on their tired defense They literally changed the NFL rules after that cuz they felt bad
-
We somehow still lost that one though.

That's easy to think until you break down the numbers but there's no world where spagnola is a better defensive coach than Sean McDermott Both have been head coaches or defensive coordinators for 16 years Spagnola has put out plenty of bad defenses in his career when he doesn't have great pieces.. and it works really well when he has pieces Sean McDermott is way more consistent whether you give him tremendous pieces or sixth round picks Spagnola has five top 10 defenses for yards... McDermott has nine... +3 Sean Spagnola has seven top 10 in points.. McDermott has 6.. still +2 Sean Spagnola has four top 10 defenses for takeaways... McDermott has 14... Including eight top five... +12 Sean now Spagnola has four top 10 rushing defenses Sean has six... +14 Sean Spagnola has six top 10 defenses for passing touchdowns allowed Sean has eight... +16 Sean We severely underate Sean McDermott and what he does and how he develops players spagnola literally with not great players has bad defenses.. Sean takes six round picks and make them good players 14 seasons out of 16 top 10 and turnovers eight top five.. those are Bill belichick numbers we are not healthy in the playoffs lol we've been without two three four starters and contributors multiple times... The Chiefs lost two players in their secondary and gabe Davis looked like Jerry Rice and Josh looked like Dan Marino Seven defensive players on the injury report going into the Chiefs game last year lol that's the difference You can't be that banged up in a game of inches when the talent margin is so thin and you're away at Arrowhead Steve spagnola is not a defensive God lol Sean McDermott is a better developer and his scheme is world class in the back end

Not until the middle of March though.

If SVPG plays at all during training camp, he turns to active.
-
McDermott as a defensive coordinator brings a lot more pressure and blitzes, though, especially in key situations. But he doesn't call the defense, usually.
-
Coaching and situation awareness is a big thing. Our best player on that day was Cook He should have got the ball in those situations instead of the not working rush-pushes. Even on that 4th down play, Cook could have been the game changer. Speed kills as Worthy demonstrated that day.

Andy Reid has lost five playoff games in his career while his offense scored 24 or more Boom No more distinction Andy Reid also gets blown out in the playoffs too and loses scoring 24

I think they mistakenly doubled it -
And it needed a great coach to get him there

This clinches it. Zach Wison for Josh Allen, straight up. -
TY. John Elway was a perennial loser in too many peoples eyes until he was a HOFer due to SB wins. He was a better player before the SBs imo. Elway got his days in the sun, I expect Josh will too (as a Bill), but no guarantees. I've been enjoying the ride since we drafted Josh and my boys asked me if we got the right QB. My answer was simple: I have no effin idea but we got one of the top 4 and that's who we're riding with. Good times.
-
Fair point. LOL. I still wish he would be gone.
-
SVPG is already on PUP. I don't believe you can switch him from PUP to IR. So I think he'll just stay there. With Hairston, if they felt he was going to miss the first 4 weeks or more of the season, they'd have already put him there. From all accounts, he should be ready by Week 1. Even if they sit him for Week 1, he's too valuable to the team to shut down for the first 4 weeks if it's likely he'll be back before then.

We needed to trade up and get Brian Thomas Jr. he was the last best receiver available

I'm happy for both James and Brandon. A decent contract for both sides.
