On the flip side, of the small subset of men even accused of rape, only 2-5% are deemed falsely accused. So 66% of all women vs... what... 0.001% of all men. You're on the wrong side of the problem. As a work of fiction and a mental exercise, it’s fine, I have no issue with that. But for 4th to take it, absorb it, and forward to me as if it’s anything beyond “this guy thinks that this guy would have thought…” doesn’t move the needle for me. It seems likely to me a similar argument could be made that Trump is a superior historical figure because he has never owned slaves, while Jefferson, Washington and the like did. I’d think even 4th would think Trump is the better man in that regard, though honestly he might not. Hard to say.

Well I just went back and looked at the original post and there is no mention of when the plaintiff originally filed the report so you'll have to excuse me for not spending the time on every post here to research it before I put my opinion down I usually just use Thijs of ra quick fix in the morning then real life kicks in . So me research skills need work I guess I'll have to cut out more time to sit in front of the computer and research or fact check every single article I read as to not jump to personal conclusions . But I still think the timing to move forward now of all times is impeccable just saying . Thank you as 1 more to point this out now I know that she isn't a gold digger it's just unfortunate timing is all .

Right after the alleged assault she called the police to report it. Beane was aware of it and addressed it after we drafted him. Yikes.

She DID report it to authorities at the time, but they didn’t see enough evidence to support criminal charges at that point. Beane DID know about it, they looked into it deeply and decided that the allegations were unfounded and it was safe to proceed. If you are not aware of these points, maybe you should be spending more time reading, and less time posting.

The same people who support a system where someone gets extra admissions points based on race (bc of the idea that certain races are disadvantaged based on history) are now justifying someone who came from wealth, wasn’t limited by that history, and explicitly is not of that race, trying to game the system by claiming otherwise. They want to pretend that Mamdani is so dumb that he didn’t understand the difference between race and place of birth, which is why he had to select the racial option that would give him a major edge in admissions.

What I pay for health insurance for my family every year and the insane deductible would make most people lose their shlit. So if you are on medicaid as an illegal or an able bodied adult then I have zero point zero fuk.cs to give about you "losing your healthcare" that I am forced to pay for.

I don't want to butt in on the pleasant back and forth but I really don't remember much criticism of the trade when it happened. I am sure someone can dig up something critical but l think that 99% of reviews of the trade that it was a understable move for the Bills and that it was a reasonable risk to take for the Chiefs. As for teams passing up on Mahomes, at half of them desperately needed a QB immediately (Browns, Bears, 49ers, Jets) and others teams could have done what the Chiefs did and red-shirted Mahomes a behind a declining starter (Chargers, Panthers, Bengals). The Browns and Panthers could be excused for picking Garrett and McCafferty but otherwise those other teams did much worse than the Bills. The other two teams also needed QBs but were not ready to give up on recent high draft choices (Titans, Jaguars). The trade by the Bills turned out to be a bad move in hindsight but in no way was it regarded as a ridiculous move at the time.

If my sister would have something like that happen I would have IMMEDIATELY went right to the source and handled it the way we did when we grew up and every one would have known about it where ever it happened and we would have preceded from there not wait 4 years until the money comes in . I suppose it's just a coincidence that this person waited until he got drafted & signed his rookie deal as a first round draft pick knowing he was making exceptional money to only then make the accusation ? 🤔 Sounds to me like maybe this gals past needs to be looked into a bit more before she ruins a persons llife that couls all be based on her personal gain for her future .
