Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
Pete replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really like the D draft. Beane took notes. Eagles also have DaVonta Smith and AJ Brown. I like the Palmer and Moore signings- two WRs that can line up outside, run crisp routes, and separate. Bills pass catchers not named Shakir struggled mightily in these roles. I believe Beane got sniped several times during the draft, and Wide Receivers were being drafted 1 to 2 rounds to their projection -
So Josh Allen is tiny now?

Shedur Sanders Make To Round 5? (Poll) - UPDATED x 3

Yeah the Browns announced that LEGENDARY will be wearing #12 today. Is this normal? I feel sorry for actual Browns fans because they're now a 1 man team, and he is going to absolutely suck the wind out of any coverage of the Browns this year. -
I think we are agreeing on him by the way. I have had your exact profile at different ages, 5% or less and 12-14% BF. When I was 200 with sub 5% body fat I was totally shredded. If I added another 25 pounds to that frame which is his equivalent at 6'4 240 I would have been barely able to move my arms. He's 220 or less for sure.

Kincaid weighed in at the combine at 246

Yeah this.... if youre a casual lol casual NFL fans dont know the draft, and casual NFL fans dont usually watch college. Try telling that to the people in the south who KNOW that college is king

I agree with all of this. So I’d assume you were good with the D draft? The fact we have a top 5 RB doesn’t hurt. He’s no Barkley, but good enough? -

Phillys D doesnt fold. They pummeled Mahomes. Saquan is best RB in league. Eagles do not need to score 30 points every game to win -
You have to be fluffy to be that heavy and he isn't. I've ranged from 203 and sub 5% bf to 220 and 12-14%. To be as tall as he is and as lean as he is eating the diet I am sure he is eating he simply doesn't have the mass to be 240 Knox is 254 which I don't fully believe either, but he is fluffier

His blocking is better than people give him credit for The biggest thing when it comes to blocking as a tight end is effort level... You can have C technique but if you bring A+ effort when you block you're going to hold your own That has been Kincaid's MO for two seasons He's not drive blocking any 15 yards down the field but he does hold most of his own blocks due to his own tenacity and effort Going back to when we drafted him 2 years ago in my draft profile on him I said the same thing that his blocking is actually underrated compared to where he's actually at.. his effort alone makes him stick to most of his blocks for the time he needs he'll never be George kittle but his effort actually allows him to get on the field and block at an average level

lol I asked for a speed WR who can catch. Dalton need not apply
-
Nope.

Just because "Pete asked for it!!!" * Why izzit that football players often quote their weight as being greater than actual, and politicians and entertainment celebrities quote weights as less than actual.
-
Now that's a diversified wr room.

Thanks for your opinion. Go look at high school photos and photos of him at San diego. He weighed 200 in high school and 225 at San Diego. He looked bigger at San Diego, too.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!

I didn't use the words excited...I said on paper we are better today than when we last left the field. Replacing the Ghost of Cooper and I only Block Mack Hollins with Palmer and Moore adds more of what we were missing to the arsenal. Mistake number 1 is focusing on whether they will improve their stats from their top seasons. That is not what our offense is nor is it the roles in passing game they will play...we are an offense that has 5 WRs, 2 TEs, and 3 RBs right now involved in our passing game. Guys here play roles, that is how our offense is built. Palmer and especially Moore are not going to see the targets necessary to likely best their career highs without injuries playing a significant role in that. And that isn't a function of "could they with Allen", that is a function of their role in this system and the design of this offense to spread the ball around in true everybody eats fashion. So no disrespect, what history shows is irrelevant to why they are here, what a successful season will be for them, etc. Especially, Moore who had his best season when he saw a lot of snaps...he is 5th on the depth chart here in just the WR room alone in an offense that also features 2 TE's and 3 RB's as targets in our passing game too. None of that would be different for some day 3 WR we would have drafted either. I agree with you that our young nucleus of Shakir, Keon and Kincaid are going to really determine how our offense fares this season. Keon is putting in the work this offseason, which is encouraging. Kincaid will be coming in healthy after battling all year with playing with injuries, and Shakir I don't think has peaked yet, but even if he has, he is a pretty darn good player for Josh and this offense. And again, I am all about grabbing lottery tickets for the future...but in a weak WR draft reaching for one over a better player prospect would be a mistake, especially for a guy who will likely contribute very little this year at the bottom of our WR bench and even further back in the targets peking order. Meanwhile someone like Deone Walker can play meaningful minutes this year and contribute to help our defense get off the field once or twice more a game which will significantly help this team more than some end of the bench lottery ticket WR. -
What Does "Due Process" Mean?

It's not possible that he is pound over 220. Use the scale and do it yourself. I'm 6 feet, fairly athletic build, 186LB, look basically just like him. If he was 240, that would be similar to 225 for me on the scale below (pounds per inch). If I was 225 I would look more like a LB. Hell I can't even imagine.

So who’s covering him - Benford or Hairston?
