But for a team that needed corner help badly, there were safer more immediate contributors available. max may very well be an all pro… but the bills have NOT done a good job getting early returns from their 1st round picks. I actually like McDermott as a person and think he is a great coach Monday - Saturday. He has too much control over both the offensive and defensive play-calling, though.
