MAGA: Morons Are Governing America
Thurmal34 replied to Homelander's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I can only imagine how China is interpreting this weakness. How soon till they move on Taiwan? "Vladimir stop!" So utterly embarrasing -
How much did you pay for gas and groceries today?

Trump is so manly and strong. -
But your point is to draft and NOT PAY market rate when they hit free agency. Correct? Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, George Kittle(or Deebo), AJ Brown & Devonta Smith........these guys have all played in SB's on second and/or 3rd contracts. More often than not at least one of those two "top 32" guys is on a big second deal. The new "top of the market" might be a higher % of the cap than it ever was but it was also a year when a WR tandem earning $32M and $25M aav, respectively, just won the SB. So that doesn't support the use em' up and draft a replacement model. That's not to say there is a lot of support for the Palmer/Samuel approach of trying to sign a potential lower end top 32. Smith-Schuster was that guy and it worked for the Chiefs but a lot of these teams have two studs that they drafted or traded for so they didn't need to venture into FA. Nobody is disputing that the best way to fill premium positions is thru the draft but it's the part about not paying them and just trying to draft a replacement that likely doesn't work. WR is one of the highest bust rate positions. It's not as easy as replacing RB's. When you get a very good WR you should endeavor to keep them.

Absolutely agreed. Last year proved to me (without a doubt) that Allen is going to play at a high level well into his “old” age when he loses a little bit of that running power. The running threat will always be there to an extent, but Allen is throwing the ball so accurately & efficiently. People hate these WRs, but they all have complementary skill sets to the QB. Having smaller WRs his whole career kind of forced him to be more precise and timed.

lol. “Leftists” what does that even mean? you people have become so indoctrinated that you are angry about Americans practicing their first amendment rights. as many of you know, I quit the Republican Party in 2016. What I have learned since then is if you strip away everything else, the fact that I care about other humans and want the best for all pisses A LOT of people off.

Still can’t get on board with Franti’s delivery/style. About a minute into Oh My God, I had to go and listen to the original song it sounds like he sampled from - EWF’s Devotion. One of my favorites from that group, but they had so many. Even though I’m not a Franti fan, he’s worlds better than Cochise 😂 I’m definitely not well schooled in Reggae, but I dig the vibes in both videos. Feels like I’ve heard Bitty Bong before.

I do think given how Brady values not only a traditional running game but also running backs that can catch the ball well I think Beane is going to be willing to pay a good price for Cook but he's not gonna overpay for him either. 12-12.5 seems like a fair we are willing to pay you but not over pay you type number.

Israel attacks Iran, with our significant financial and military support but against our wishes- stay out. Russia attacked Europe and essentially NATO- we support Ukraine, Europe and NATO Europe is (waS OUR ALLY) Russia is (was) our enemy. What's so difficult? didn't some maga here post something derogatory about neo cons?

You were not kidding; that actually hurt Here's a couple pieces from Spearhead & Franti with a different feel/delivery you might like better. And a couple more oldschool guys that you might not have been lucky enough to be exposed to yet:
-
1.) Dalton Kincaid: With the emergence of Khalil Shakir last year, I think if Dalton Kincaid can step up this year and be “that guy” for Josh, our offense will continue rolling. Can he step up and be the guy that we drafted him to be? 2.) Cole Bishop: Taylor Rapp proved to be a solid safety for us last year, but Buffalo needs more depth and consistency at the position. Can Bishop help fill that void left by Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer? 3.) Tyler Bass: Can he step up and close games out like the assassin that we all know he can be? Can Tyler Bass be Buffalo’s version of Adam Vinatieri? Honorable mentions: Keon Coleman, Dawson Knox, TJ Sanders, Deone Walker and Maxwell Hairston.
