Four years ago I would have agreed with you. And you still might be right about Pete. My bet is that the country will have had enough of post-Obama dolts and will want the smartest among them (again, and for a change). I’ll add that this thing with cops running around in masks pulling people off of the street is not going to be very people in my minority community of it spreads outside of Cali, which obviously helps Pete. Depends on the field. He’ll do well in Iowa and if he does decently in SC in a multiple candidate field he’s got a shot.

Thats all well and good, but Dems have to deal with reality and Pete is going to have to do some seriously heavy lifting to (not just win back some white men) but more importantly find a way to not be polling in the single digits with black folks. If he gets smoked in the South Carolina Primary with the Dem electorate heavy black, it’s probably a wrap.

All Draught Team Bills vs the 2025 Bills

Essentially my point and what I've observed elsewhere: those outside of the union's executive leadership are increasingly marginalized and treated like chaff. NBA franchises aren't going to be crippled by a contract like that, not when the team cap is 155M next year. You're advocating that, because risk comes when an athlete sustains an injury and/or production declines it's proof-positive that guaranteed contracts are bad. They're not. Risk cannot be totally eliminated and teams make decisions that go awry. It's part of life. Taking this back to the Bills, whenever Beane has wanted to cut someone's pay, the player wound up being cut not long after. NFL players have less leverage than their NBA, MLB, and NHL counterparts in many instances and this is exemplified with other franchises. What I'm seeing here is people claim that guaranteed contracts would prompt teams to be hesitant to spend. I disagree. Teams still are under pressure to win as evidenced by the yearly HC carousel and have their own guaranteed income from revenue sharing. Teams are required to spend a certain percentage and would acquiesce...which would demand being more careful particularly in UFA. It's funny to discuss this because I was once vehemently pro-management and viewed players as typically the problem.

There is A LOT of the "Dead Show Vibe" at Bills game tailgates. The crazy big crowds, everyone walking around, different little "events" and places to visit happening all over the place, and of course everyone walking en masse up Abbot into the game reminds me so much of walking into a Dead show. I know Im in the minority but I have no interest in The Sphere. First off, its Vegas which isnt my vibe for anything, much less a Dead show and second, I like to watch the band, itself and rarely have any use for the "graphics" any band puts up on the screens. YMMV.

You are getting hung up on the fact that its the same cow being purchased...... If you bought a cow for 60 and sold it for 70, then bought a different cow for 80 and sold it for 90, the profit would be 20 bucks....therefore why would it be different if it was the same cow?? You are getting the full purchase price plus an additional ten dollars back on the second sale....10+10=20.

I’m good with it – this country clearly prefers being entertained by a clown packed with lies, ego, and empty promises.

I don’t think Buttigieg has much of a chance tbh. I think he’s incredibly smart, articulate and a heck of a debater. I don’t agree with a ton of what he stands for, but I can respect that he goes on Fox and comes out with viral clips where he owned the interviewer. Unfortunately for him, he’s gay with a husband that most men view as a punchline. Id vote for a gay guy, but im just speaking in pure reality. Chasten and him riding around bikes together, taking maternity leave for an adopted baby… it’s just not going to work. Furthermore, black people, black men specifically, will not vote for him. His polling numbers with the black community are insanely bad and without 80-90% black support, Dems can’t win.

The NFLPA Is Becoming A Sham Organization

Seems like the Union has negotiated higher pay and less working hours, while avoiding a work stoppage for almost twenty years. Isn’t that what the Union is supposed to do? -

We’re definitely going back next year! My boys said that might have been their best day ever 😅 at one point I found myself walking across a bridge with just my boys and Josh and his brother, I was talking to Josh about Settlers of Catan 😂😂 it was great. -
I mean, they aren't exactly shy about it: Two weeks have passed since a Florida Highway Patrol officer arrested the Honduran immigrant client of Magdalena Cuprys of Cuprys & Associates. “He was stopped at a weigh station in Tampa because he owns a construction company, and he was required to stop for his truck to be weighed,” Cuprys told me. “The client had a valid Florida driver’s license. The patrol officer called Customs and Border Protection on him. The client called me, and the officer took the phone from him and spoke with me.” She asked why CBP was alerted. “I was advised that the client looked Hispanic, had a Hispanic name, and now they are collaborating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and CBP, and their orders are to call CBP any time they encounter anyone they suspect is an immigrant,” said Cuprys. “I asked if they would have followed the same process if it had been me driving, and the response was it depends if you look Hispanic.” Attorneys Say They Can’t See Immigration Clients At Alligator Alcatraz

Looking back, 7 years after that draft of 1st round QBs, the only bust in my opinion, no matter which team drafted him, is the one so many Bills fan, including guys like Chris Brown at OBD, and media viewed the "safe pick" Josh. Thank God Beane and McDermott got the true safe pick for future HoF, our Josh - yes I believe regardless the team that picked him, he'd shine thru based on what we learned of him. In fact you can say the Bills mis-managed him initially and he pulled thru. Lamar went to a great organization (better than the Bills management in my view), and Harbaugh and Newsome handled it the best way possible for Lamar's development. Even though Lamar looks to be on a HoF path now, I still have questions that had he gone to a bad organization like the Arizona or Jets, he'd be where he is now, the kind of confidence he had (that he's one of the best to do it). I give it a 65% chance he'd pull thru. Flip around had Mayfield or Darnold got drafted to a good organization like Ravens, Steelers, they may have great success and be like Dak making top 10 money years ago. I said Dak because I don't believe they have the superior physical talent of Lamar or Allen, but I believe they would be franchise QBs for their respective teams today.
