1) Babich is clearly not the answer. The defense has regressed badly since he arrived. Is that all his fault? No. 2) Beane and McDermott were the right guys in 2017. They aren't anymore.. if Pegula has a serious desire to win a super bowl.. which I'm not sure about. 3) It is a very weird feeling that by every measure this is a very good era of Bills football but it's also been disappointing because of how crushing of a note the season always seems to end on. There isn't a fan base in sports that wants a championship more than the Bills.

True, the defense is actually awesome. We get consistent pass rush, outstanding linebacker play, tight coverage, have elite tackling, and are well coached.

Jags have a good defense. They are doing more than Lawrence. To be honest, Lawrence has been a dissapointment.

What is the "Bills Culture" anyways? I think its Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things with some help from James Cook. But this supposed process and culture would be nothing without #17. He is our "culture". McDermott got the Bills out of playoff hell in 2017. Since then its been all #17.

We were spoiled with Hyde, Poyer, White and Johnson. Even then some here complained.

That looked like Chiefs style coverage they operate knowing they can’t call it all game - especially against the perceived inferior WRs vs Superior CB How many times was Elam called for that?

So much short term memory or lack of real memory. The Bills had a ton of ~8-8 seasons with guys like Edwards, Losman, Taylor, an old Bledsoe, Orton, etc. You cant tell me Allen replacing any of those QB's does not drastically change things. Additionally many of those years were in a much tougher AFC east with 6 tough games compared to the past few years in the division. I would expect a capable HC to inherit this team with Josh Allen and achieve at least similar results. The Bills win more games from either playing crappy teams or Josh Allen balling out than coaching or game plan genius.
