  2. Ron Swanson is one of the funniest TV characters of all time! Larry David, ya dig?
  3. Let's go Buffalo 🦬!!!! I'm getting some wings today for sure
  4. Quote of the week: ā€œworst game any quarterback ever had, who got 375 yards and 6 total touchdownsā€ -Greg Tompsett This encapsulates everything our poor eyes fed our now scrambled brains last Sunday. That game had EVERYTHING! Fumbles, interceptions, hurdles, laterals, foul weather, torture, chases, bad calls, good calls, touchdowns, field goals, blocked kicks, multiple 2 pt tries, TD bombs, long TD runs and 9 lead changes! I had a full head of hair at 1pm, now I’m bald!😳 Josh Allen old time football https://fb.watch/Du5c7jgCqS/?fs=e Josh needs just 1 more rushing TD to pass Cam Newton for most rushing TDs by a QB in League history. Let’s take care of that record tonight! BUT..he’s 0-3 in Houston.. Worth noting in last game was our Special Teams and kicking game -Hardman’s fumble notwithstanding. With winds ever present and a few gusts measuring 35 mph, Matt Prater made every kick (1 FG plus 6 pats) while Mitch Wishnowsky regularly buried the Bucs deep with perfect punts. Davis had a great game with KRs! I believe this issue may be resolved. OK, on to tonight. On the road to NRG Stadium in Houston against the Texans. Person note; I’ve been there. An ugly, cold warehouse of a stadium. It’s a damn mile high with no elevators or escalators. Thought I was gonna die! It was the end of the EJ Manuel experiment and issued in Kyle Orton in his last season before retiring. CJ Stroud, Nico Collins, Christian Kirk and Brackston Berrios (WRs) and DL Denico Autry, Derick Barnett and Sheldon Jenkins are their standouts, though they’re just 5-5 this season. They’re #1 in Defense and atop many League Defensive metrics. We’ll need everybody studying the playbook with these short days. Joe Mixon is a highly paid (3 years, $20M), aging and oft injured RB. He’s been replaced by Woody Marks & Nick Chubb to fill the void. Davis Mills has done admirably in CJ Stroud’s absence winning their last 2 games and will now be called on for a 3rd week in a row. They also come into this game on 3 days rest so it’ll be a struggle for them too. For the Bills, Cole Bishop has turned into a stud at Safety, worthy of League recognition! He’s now everywhere he’s supposed to be and a threat to opposing QBs, leading the team in INTs. Our Run Defense is still miserable though our best defenders are out/hurt. Bosa is reduced to a 1 armed pass rusher and everyone else seemed nearly invisible! Bernard’s return from injury and Benford’s return to prominence are encouraging aspects -as is Mad Max. So was Ty Johnson! Both he and Cook CAN catch passes and should absolutely be more involved in our air attack! Then, there’s this guy.. Poll Question: ā€˜Shaves’ or Keon? šŸ¤” Congrats to Steve Tasker -now a semi-finalist for induction into the HOF! šŸ¤ž So, there you have it! We haven’t clinched anything yet and it’s late November. Xmas lights šŸŽ„ have been taken off the shelf and the turkey is thawing. 🦃 Gotta keep the pedal to the metal! No rest for the weary, it has to be WAR every week! The Chiefs have fallen from grace and the Ravens are still struggling. Use the Bucs game as a launching point and go get what we want! It starts tonight! We GOT THIS! GO BILLS! Joe Marino chimes in
  5. The numbers are skewed because teams run the ball so much, due to the success of the run against this defense. Drake Maye carved us up, we made Diggs look like an All Pro, and this was with us winning the TOP by about 10 minutes. We made Penix look like good starter in this league and London ate us alive. Tua was 15/21 and we made Waddle look top tier. I do think as Hairston gains experience we will be harder to throw against. They also need to keep Taron off the field. He's washed. Cam Lewis is better at this point. I also like what I see from Hancock playing Safety in the short sample we've been given.
  6. Buffalo vs Houston 1989 Kelly to Reed in ot
  7. The Coleman & Carter picks look like busts. But I really like Bishop, Davis, Grable and Solomon. Solomon has pass rush traits that could continue to develop. I want to see how he develops over the next couple years. Grable looks like a possible starter at guard next year imo. Davis imho is solid insurance for Cook. As we saw against the jets in 24. Bishop looks great. The wildcard pick is Clayton in a couple years.... That's not something to just dismiss If Bishop, Grable become high level starters & Solomon can at minimum develop into a decent pass rush specialist That's a good draft for mist gms. But the Coleman pick is terrible and embarrassing
  8. It is very odd to me - but in a way makes complete and total sense - that McD seem to favor the exact style of offense that his D has the most trouble stopping. It is almost Freudian.
  9. Maybe it's just receny bias but I got a great feeling about our offense tonight. I know the Texans defense is really good but I think something unlocked against Tampa. Just a gut feeling Let's go Buffalo!!
  10. Okay I have trouble understanding this lol But give me a playbook and three weeks of camp and I'm on it coach!
  11. Pitre is one of the top slot DBs in the NFL. He hits, covers, and reacts great. Big loss for Texans
  12. You can’t look at total passing yards per game as a metric because opponents run it so well that they pass less often. If you look at things like yards per attempt, then the Bills have a pretty average pass defense.

  15. I agree with everything you're saying here. I was just making a larger point on old school football Orthodoxy and how some of it is misleading No doubt, we must improve with our run defense I think the 06 colts had the worst run defense in the NFL, but they're an outlier
  16. Lori wrote the most thorough Bills gamedays
  17. Well, I mean, if we're taking a guy with a 4 catch, 90 yards, 1 TD performance and comparing him to a Hall of Famer - Cole Bishop has to *at least* be Ronnie Lott 🤣
  18. Scatter to West right tight, F left , 372 y stick z spot That's a simple gruden play call
  19. Luckily thanks to many years reading this board I understand this stuff perfectly Tbh I’m less confused by it than I used to be but it’s the speed that they process this stuff that leaves me in the dust.
  20. It's just like learning French or Spanish Football is a language that these people are learning for 15 years... You also get what you put in That's why some players don't last long because at the NFL it's even more complex than college Jon gruden is historically known for Old School West Coast 20-word verbiage plays You need to be extremely smart to execute his offense
  21. Seems like a solid, intelligent guy whose head is in the right place. Somewhere else, I posted that skill-wise, he was more or less a jag. But I want to be wrong. I root for him and hope he becomes a regular contributor to the Bills offense.
  22. This video is 2 weeks old but it popped up in my feed. I thought it was pretty cool. First time I seen a sideline sheet up close and explained. Also goes through a little evolution of it. If you were ever curious about the sideline sheets, like me, this is a cool video. On a side note, I can't believe players remember all that *****.
  23. Ronnie Lott cut off his pinky so he wouldn't Miss time due to injury Until Bishop is willing to sacrifice a limb Ronnie lot is not a line I'm willing to cross
