  2. easy answer. Beane has failed Josh, the franchise and the fans. it's going to be great going to the new stadium with this mess he created. I've kept a tight lip but it is clearly evident this team is not a true Superbowl contender. JA is, but the cast around him is weak. this franchise has not seen a competent GM since Bill Polian or John Butler. you don't go anywhere in this league with the Tom Donahue's or Doug Whaley's and now Brandon Beane. I hope he has nightmares from his failing a once in generation QB like JA. patsies are clearly in great position to claim the afce and could even get 1 seed with the gravy schedule they have left. meanwhile, if I don't see an inspired JA Sunday and they lose at home to (which I believe they will) the bucs, season can nearly be considered a wash as far as going deep in to the playoffs or possibly not even getting in to the post season.. it has been since the pats loss when I saw an uninspired JA, sitting alone on the bench. even the kc game he didn't seem to have his head in it. where's the fire? where is the running up and down the bench yelling lfg? it has seem to have gone out? I 'll be flamed, laughed at and puked on for this hot take but me thinks JA's head is in Hollywood with his wife catching up on his golf game rather then be beat up on the football field. it would be a totally different story though if Beane hadn't failed him and put a great supporting cast to go along with a great QB, but it was not and we witnessing the results of his failure. I'm too old to care anymore and the NFL really is not a priority on my Sundays anymore. spending it with the grandson is much more fulfilling then watching a team that had so much potential only to be neglected by yet another incompetent GM. thanks Beane, you brought me back to those old pessimistic ways of thinking and feeling about this team, just like the drought days. I just don't see this guy righting the ship as his ship needs to be sailed on the next flight out of buffalo.
  3. Pats window just opened, ours is basically closed. Getting a talent like Allen and wasting his career is so Billsy.
  4. It’s painful to think we’re wasting our great QB with game plans that are designed around a receiving corps that can’t stretch the field or get separation. Realistically our talent level can’t improve until we purge this roster of players that are overpaid and not impactful. Sadly I don’t think Beane, with his resume of roster construction shouldn’t be the one making these decisions.
  5. Bills should be just as good. Injuries, terrible Front office work, and terrible coaching have them where they are now. Not to mention the cap hell from the traitor Diggs
  6. In all seriousness, good for Dion. Seems like a genuine good guy who does alot for the Buffalo community.
  7. Everyone has a right to an opinion, and we all know that even with the higher standard of a criminal trial, there are times when innocent people are convicted of crimes they did not commit. The civil justice system is the best we can do, but not all civil cases in all jurisdictions work the same. The term “ambulance chaser” did not come about because it was based on purity and virtue. Broadly speaking, the ability for victims to have their day in court for deeds that took place decades ago can be applauded. The fact that a victim of abuse at the hands of a person in a position of authority (clergy, teacher, scoutmaster etc) can seek some sort of relief is a good thing. However, it’s also fraught with potential for abuse and manipulation. I think that’s maybe why, generally, the statute of limitations isn’t 10, 20, 30 or 50 years. Getting to the bottom of who did what and when and why becomes increasingly difficult with the passage of time. In this case, we obviously have different points of view on the situation, plaintiff and defendant. I respect that, but if the jury incorrectly decided the outcome, Trump is 100% justified in pursuing every recourse available to him, as is his right in the same civil system that awarded the plaintiff a sizable sum of money. Again, a step back. Trump says the plaintiff is lying, opts not to settle and takes his chances with a jury. He then decides to fight the verdict for as long as necessary, regardless of cost. Liberal people are stunned, can’t believe that others cannot see what is painfully obvious to them. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris partners with Bill Clinton, who opted to pay a victim who claimed he sexually assaulted her $800k. She also partnered with JB, after she stated that she believed the women who accused him of taking liberties with them. This, of course, after she sought to reinvent SC Justice Kavanaugh’s high school yearbook entries. She was the chosen one to be President by millions, after gropey Joe, and after Clinton’s wife who stood by her hubby and victim shamed the people who accused him. SMH indeed.
  8. The biggest problem of the drought was not bottoming out. And when they did in 2010, they lost out on Newton. In 2004 Donahue wouldn't offer up a 1st for Big Ben. But did for losman. Which cost them Rodgers in 05.... That set the franchise back years. Not having stable ownership was also a big part of the problem which shouldn't be in the future
  9. TLDR: Moore and David will save us 😐
  10. We'll I guess it's over. It was a great run....
  11. Bingo - well said. People are quick to forget what we dealt with when Dorsey was OC and our offense was in shambles... with WR talent. Get to the playoffs, get healthy, and they will have a chance this year just like any other.
  12. The schedule has favored them to an extent, no doubt. However, give them credit for executing and not getting bit by a bad team like we did last week against Miami. Another thing that has really helped them out is that they have had some crazy good injury luck. Both in having key players of theirs not miss time and getting teams that are missing some valuable contributors.
  13. We made no real effort to sign him. I think he got a 2 year 8 million dollar deal from the cheats. That’s nothing. and Hollins, while definitely underutilized, played a TON last year. They used him as the big blocking WR but he was also our best deep threat and a clutch TD guy in the redzone. some things are totally inexcusable and not resigning Holins is one of them
  14. They wont. That is/was unprecedented. If this Patriots do have sticking power, they will be tough for a few years. Need to manage the maye salary bump. Then navigate through being the target. Maye has to maintain focus on his day-to-day and also stay healthy.
  15. Telling the truth, to you, is wrong? Is there anything Trump can't do in your eyes? Helping a pedophile is not bad in your yes? You are the one needing help, I'm not the one defending sex traffickers
  16. Geez, Sean McDermott has a win percentage of .657 with a 140 - 92 win record. Had his team in the playoffs 7 of 8 seasons...can we hire that guy?
  17. Let’s see if you still feel the same way after having been a fan for almost SIXTY years, like me. 😂 Kidding. I appreciate the optimism. Go Bills!
  18. I don't think you are, but I hope you're right.
  19. Take the scales off of your eyes for God's sake Why is Maxwell being given special treatment?
  20. You're ignoring the 'Woody' factor. Even more damaging than the brain trust the Bills have at GM and HC. And the 'learn as you go' OC. 🤨 * And yes, I have been snarky as of late.
  21. They're going to get waxed by buffalo and Baltimore. They'll lose a couple other games too They're not that good
  22. The Brady/Belichek combo felt like an unbeatable force. New England's defense was always underrated all those years. They never got the credit they deserved for a ton of playoff wins and Super Bowls. I'm hopeful that this iteration of the Patriots does not have that feel to it. Yes they will be a threat to win the division probably for years to come, but they should not be insurmountable like the B/B era.
  23. I have Patriot PTSD especially living in New England
