Joe Brady says Dalton "lived here this offseason"
Cash replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Interesting take. I disagree but I’m open to be convinced otherwise. From memory, I think Coleman’s non-40 measurables were pretty good, and I don’t recall Kincaid’s being crazy exceptional. I agree that generally TE is a slower-developing position than WR. But the other factor to me is age. Coleman is what, 3-4 years younger than Kincaid? That’s a big difference, both in terms of athleticism and development. Athleticism: Pro athlete-level men don’t usually peak athletically till somewhere in the mid 20s. Coleman probably (not definitely) has more room to grow athletically. Development: Again, granted that TE is slower to develop on average. But Coleman has a lot less time on task at his position, and a lot less football experience in general since he was more basketball-focused until recently. -

was just waiting for your hyperbole. who is triggered? All I’m doing is pointing out that saying “lefties must be stopped” leads to MAGAts assassinating state senators. -

My expectations are quite low. Can't coach speed and his shiftiness is minimal. He offers physicality and height, so in my mind he's a limited, niche player of sorts, requiring Allen to throw "high" to let him box out defenders in order to get his receptions. -
That was truly an embarrassing commentary. One so absurd that it’s hard to forget.

You’re triggered by a four year old thread title? Have you seen “LA under military attack”? Good god man. Get a grip. also - sorry about your weekend. Must have been miserable. -

Kinkaid had knee problems he kept quiet until this summer. Both knees. We’ll see how Coleman comes back after the injury last year. -
A clearly partisan X account engaging in hyperbolic fireworks descriptions, versus an established cable network pretending to be non partisan puking out crap like this ...daily.

If Tre doesn't have it, they could cut him and put him on the PS as a mentor, a la Micah Hyde last year. He'd still get $2.2M plus PS salary and a game check from call-ups.

Depends on who you ask. I’m not super active on the board, but I’ve seen a LOT more people writing Coleman off than people expecting him to break out. -
Great point. It’s easy for us fans to just say “play the young guy, he’ll get better”, but if his teammates don’t trust him, that’s causing extra problems beyond just one rookie making mistakes. In a similar vein, there is a case for a Tre White or similar to make the roster as a backup over a better-below-the-neck young guy. Because we know Tre is a phenomenal locker room guy, and he came in with no expectations of starting.

Then why is ICE at immigration court? Why is ICE at elementary schools? Why is ICE at restaurants? Why is ICE at farms? Why isn’t ICE in East LA or South Central? Maybe re-read the title of the thread? -

No. I'm not into stats or analytics. I don't have time for either. I'm old-school and have always heard that reciever is the second hardest position to learn in the NFL. I believe it's true and Keon is gonna be a-okay. -

AB was a nobody after leaving the Steelers. They got the best years out of him. Yeah, "redo the remaining years" meant guaranteed money. Like the Raiders gave him and as a result only had to give up a 3rd and a 5th round pick. And the Raiders were a worse team than the Bills, having come off a 4-12 season so it's not like he spurned the Bills and agreed to sign with the Raiders because they were a good/better team.

1994 - Kelly & Reed vs Favre & Sharpe - NFL Throwback
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
What a great gem OP! Since the ‘94 season was such a clunker (7-9) compared with the SB run, it’s easy to forget there were some good individual games in there nonetheless! Reed still looking so smooth, could do it all, slot, X, contested deep balls, you name it, what a weapon! Kelly finding the fountain of youth for this one too… -
