  1. Past hour
  2. Interesting take. Ive liked him going back to Empire. He focuses on his sports takes, which are usually good. As a bonus he never made his shows about his golf game, fantasy football teams or love of soccer. He is worlds better than almost anyone on WGR currently.
  3. Not trusting the players around you will do that
  4. Boys, I typically get on Audacy if not live and listen to his picks as he just does it for fun. I only disagree with one of his choices. I seriously doubt we will get swept by the Cheats.
  5. Let's not go overboard here. The Chiefs are 5-3 and averaging 26.75 points per game. The Chiefs are averaging 378.3 offensive yards/game. The Bills are 5-2 and averaging 29.57 points per game. The Bills are averaging 382.9 offensive yards/game. The Chiefs are on a 3-game win streak and the Bills lost two of their last three, so the current optics may not look great, but things are not as bad as you paint them out to be. I do agree with you about Josh though. I don't know if he is in a funk or whatever, as some seem to think, but if anything can get him out of it and get his competitive juices flowing, it is a game against Mahomes and the Chiefs. Yes, the Bills are only 14th in passing yards per game (which seems low for a Josh Allen team), but we are #1 in the league in rushing yards (by a good bit) and 4th in scoring (only one point per game below 2nd and 3rd place, Dallas and Detroit, respectively). The Chiefs are 5th in passing yards/game, 9th in rushing yards per game, and 7th in points scored. Obviously, their defense is currently better (but our defense showed some life vs. Carolina, and looks to be improving---despite the loss of Oliver): Chiefs: 2nd in points allowed/game; 4th in yards allowed/game. Bills: 9th in points allowed/game; 12th in yards allowed/game. And then the Bills have homefield advantage. I expect it, as almost all of their games have gone, to be a close battle with one of the teams pulling it out late in the 4th quarter. Per usual, I would give the odds for each team at 50/50. But my heart thinks the Bills will take this one.
  6. reminds me of Tom Hardy and Perry Tuttle...
  7. Brady’s press conference was a joke. I paraphrase- “our passing office is fine. There is nothing wrong with it.” ”we didn’t pass better because we didn’t have to. We were running the ball well”. anyone with working eye sight and half a brain could tell you the Bills passing game is not fine. Brady is delusional and/or a liar
  8. on the bright side...he is not injured or suspended for peds
  9. nope. dude was injured and "allegedly" assaulted his lady....again
  10. That’s why we are years late from adding a quality WR. WR seems like Beanes least priority out every position, besides kicker, imo
  11. i don't want us to be embarrassed.
  12. If our passing offense doesn't look better, we're cooked. If that's how it goes I don't see it being any different in the playoffs than any other year. Beane has holes to fill.
  13. Could see that coming Myles away. 😉 Dude asked for a trade then signed a new deal. He has no business being upset about his greatness being “wasted” while the Browns stink. He chose it. Also, Stefanski… I get there are only 32 of these jobs and only a handful are available year over year, but he will get another HC job based on his success (very serious word choice) with that mess of a franchise. He should resign after the draft. Like as soon as the draft ends, resign. Basically do to the Browns what they did to him for his entire time with them.
  14. Not sure if it was mentioned but Orlovsky did his weekly appearance w tasker and brown where they asked him about Josh. Orlovsky was very honest and stated Josh has not played well approximately the last 4 games. He is missing easy throws , missing open receivers, his scrambling looks off where he is usually dangerous in that way. It was a very frank , honest assessment coming from an analyst that could get dropped if he offends the regime, but he didn’t hold back. He did say the WRs are not threatening really to anyone. But he was firm he expected better play from last years mvp. On the other hand he remarked how good Mahomes is playing and looks to be in SB OR prior good form. Our O does not have a defining personality outside running cook , and that was almost exclusively toss pitch runs the last game. KC once again is coming up with innovative plays , and they have a multitude of receivers who bring different threats the bills will have to find ways to cope with. They have speed, speed plus strength ( rice) , thorton stretching the field , Hollywood brown with speed and experience, and of course Kelce. Hunt will still be able to run with pichecko out. Basically , bills will have to score over 32 to beat the chiefs , or teams like the colts , bronchos , and KC come playoff time according to Orlovsky. He and tasker both ended saying we have to score on most possessions to keep up with KC and have a chance to win this week. Neither sounded enthusiastic, but the main point is Josh is not playing well despite what he says regarding certain passes. The wr corp is poor at getting open but Josh looks out of sync. Cower stated the same while on the SHOUT podcast but of course believes in Mcd etc. Matt bove along w Howard Simon and Joe buscaglia all feel the wr corp needs an addition, w. Howard being especially critical. They feel KC is a critical game for the season. Beane obviously didn’t make any moves in time for KC regarding the WRs , so I wouldn’t see the point trading if we lose. Pats just have such an easy schedule. Hard to feel positive playing KC as right now Josh and Mahomes look to be playing at different levels; if Palmer doesn’t play ( Orlovsky thinks he is important) and spags neutralizes cook , it’s could be season changing for the Bills.
  15. I thought about the poll, and it depends on several factors. Does Hairston’s play increase as well need it against KC’s speedy receivers? Does Hoecht and Ogunjobi continue to make a nice impact on our defense? Does Palmer come back so we don’t have to run the entire offense through Cook? I love Cook, but if they shut him down to even an avg. day, we are no match the way our WRs are separating to keep up with their WRs. These are just some matters, and I’m sure there are others. Moore better get on the same page with JA and be used effectively downfield. None of this end around crap, nir 1yard off the LOS. I also hope Kinkaid can keep getting healthier as he is very impactful over the middle along with Shakir. Our once open downfield threat is what we desperately need.
  16. Can we pump the brakes slightly on the Pats? They look solid but they've beaten Carolina, New Orleans, Cleveland, Miami, Tennessee and then us. I'm not ready to pencil them in for 14 wins quite yet. We've been this same boat with Miami's hot starts back when the league had no idea to what to do with Tua/McDaniels and that offense was running roughshod on everyone. Remember Miami's 70 point game? Sustained success like that is rarely seen in the NFL once the league adjusts to your fastball.
  17. Veach and Spags suck all they do is bring back guys they've had before.
  18. To answer your question, I think that Beane would do better without McDermott.
  19. My vibe? We're gonna get smoked like an easter ham
  20. Something to consider is if an O Lineman is grabbing the defender on the number inside it is not holding. Once he goes to the outside, that is holding. It’s usually caused because the O Lineman is getting beat, and he hopes he can get away with it. The more blatant the hold, the more likely it will get called. Part is also a sign of a QB holding onto the ball too long. As many know, JA may be holding onto the ball too long as the WRs as many have said are not separating in 2.5 seconds. Those are the quick release QBs. This speaks all the more to trade for a WR. The article this morning in the Syracuse paper in WR options among the DT options. It’s on the main page of the TBD. For me it’s 1st, Brian Thomas, 2nd, Chris Olave, and 3rd, Rasheed Shaheed. Josh is lost without proper use of our WRs. Palmer’s injury came at the worst possible time.
  21. Cuz prime of their career Ted Washington types are readily available..?
  22. My comparison to the others is that Coleman was drafted in a similar.draft spot and out performed them. As the thought by some that Coleman is the absolute worst is unfounded. Is a top tier guy? Hell no. Yet as shown with my examples he could be a whole lot worse.
