Buffalo Sabres and the NHL: 2025 - 2026
That's No Moon replied to Draconator's topic in Off the Wall
Yeah, we'll see. Toughness is a team mentality sort of thing. You don't have tough players, you have a tough team. Either the guys who want to play that way will drag the shrinking violets into it or they will become violets themselves as they realize that the other sacks of crap don't have their backs or give half a darn. This team is a gutless sack of crap until well proven otherwise. -

I wish I could give you an answer. I don’t trust Washington republicans to get anything right. I just prefer their brand of ineptitude to that of Washington democrats. I do know that the fear mongering from the dems is standard issue. Republicans want to kill children and make old people choose between cat food and medicine, blah, blah. Been playing that tune for decades. I don’t know how anyone still buys it.

Curious on your thoughts on this bill. What are the positives? I can’t weed through all the “millions will lose healthcare” (which is horrifying if it’s not done with precision to only remove those who are abusing the system) rhetoric so I’m interested in learning what the positive is? Tax free OT? Seems lame. No tax on tips? Sounds like it was written by someone who never worked for tips. Not being argumentative; honestly curious what the pros are to the bill from someone on the other side of the aisle I respect.

Maxwell Hairston named in civil lawsuit for sexual assault
SinceThe70s replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Disclaimer: I have no clue who (if either) is the righteous party in this case. But how many times has Hairston been sued similarly by over 20 women? If and when that becomes the case (or as other info is made public) my thoughts on this suit will differ - as they did with Watson. "Because he plays for another team" is completely irrelevant to me, not sure why you made that point. -

True word. If we’d had Higgins or Chase types, we’d have a Lombardi by now. - Today

Brandon Beane "might be the most sensitive GM in the entire NFL"?
Buffalo716 replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every NFL team passed on Tom Brady at least five times through like 190 pics lol All those GMS must be fired lol there was a purge of dog Whaley and the entire scouting staff, but then a lot of the scouts were brought back over the next four six weeks For 60 plus years in the bills history our problem typically has not been The scouting department it's been elsewhere The scouts aren't the guys making the pics -
All reliable enough for Finding! NEW: Report via @CIADirector Ratcliffe •Concludes that in 2016 then CIA Director Brennan and others rushed the Russia election interference intelligence assessment •Brennan dismissed high level warnings that the Clinton campaign opposition research the “Steele dossier” did not meet intel collection standards + risked “credibility” •Handling of dossier was highly irregular + limited analytic rigor •Media leaks reinforced narrative "with high confidence" that Russia intervened to help candidate Trump Pg. 4 "...two senior leaders of the CIA mission center responsible for Russia—strongly opposed including the Dossier, asserting that it did not meet even the most basic tradecraft standards." Maxwell Hairston named in civil lawsuit for sexual assault
Doc replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
What it seems you're implying is they didn't investigate the incident or found something but didn't care, just because of need and talent. I'm saying they must have thoroughly investigated it because they were planning on using a lot of resources and because of what happened with Araiza and found nothing of merit, so they went ahead and drafted him.
