  1. Past hour
  2. and that 10 points was against a backup D basically. Really shows how bad our D is from roster construction to coaching.
  3. A cascading, compounding problem that was like watching a car crash in slow motion. Why did we feel obligated to give Diggs whatever he wanted in 2022 and thus eat an entire contract in 2024 when the relationship became untenable? Because we didn’t have enough of a talent pipeline at WR. There was no plan for Diggs’ eventual decline. There was no plan to replace Gabe Davis when he priced himself out of Buffalo. The plan to replace Cole Beasley was to promote JAG gadget guy Isaiah McKenzie who predictably was so bad that we had to call a retired Cole Beasley to come back. We relied on FA bandaids at a position that quickly became the second highest in the NFL. An unsound strategy when the delta between what a rookie deal WR and a FA WR makes has never been higher, and the stars at the position basically never hit FA. It’s drought level QB mismanagement bad. And it’s even worse because we have the Super Bowl caliber QB, so the opportunity cost is ENORMOUS. It has cost us the chance to play in multiple Superbowls thus far imo and may cost us ever getting to the dance at all. Does anyone think we are outscoring the Chiefs in January, even in Buffalo? Does Josh Allen think he can?
  4. Seriously, they're still paying Watson and Sanders so both guys should be in play next year if Gabriel doesn't convince them.
  5. The hot one looks like Torrie Wilson from the WWE.
  6. They should trade for Flacco
  7. And let's keep Glenn with Fields in NJ forever as well.
  8. We all know come next Sunday afternoon between 3:30 - 4:15 we will all be nervous nellies during crunch time as the Bills will be in another nailbiter. Hopefully they end up 5-2. They should end up 5-2 but 4-3 is a real possibility and the Panthers run game vs the Bills run defense will be the main reason if 4-3 happens.
  9. They can't even develop who they have in house so I think it's a nonstarter. They blew Baker and blew it with Flacco this time around. At this point I seriously question if Stefanski has been a significant part of the problem with Watson? With Gabriel you can see it's half field reads and short to intermediate throws only. Is that helping or hurting him? I just don't trust Stefanski at this point.
  10. On the other hand, the Panthers eked by the Jets 13-6. Most of these results don't really mean anything... or as one of our posters here likes to remind us, "the transitive property doesn't apply to sports."
  11. If the batter is wearing armor, he shouldn't get a free base if he gets hit on the armor Why not just make everyone eligible? When we played football in the neighborhood we didn't have "eligibles" and "ineligibles" and it worked out just fine.
  12. Please please please don't fire him. I want him in Miami forever. Ideally with Tua
  13. The Jets play the Browns in two weeks. Another Browns blowout win coming up.
  14. I wonder if yesterday's collapse means Daboll is shown the door soon. On the plus side, the Giants have found their QB. Unfortunately, he made one bad throw on the INT that allowed Denver to get back in the game. Overall Dart looks like he has the "IT" factor to be a good QB in this league.
  15. They've also had a lot of injuries, though Berry has neglected it in the draft a bit. Getting Conklin back would help, stabilizing the quarterback with a more mobile one helps also. Would definitely take Berry over Beane for GM. The guy definitely pulls in stronger talent. Only big negative is how they handle their QB situation, especially with Shadeur this year. He should have got garbage time snaps yesterday. Rumor is Haslam had them draft Sanders and it feels like it because of the disdain those two have for him. Myles and Jeudy have both vouched for Sanders being first in last out and living in the OC's office to know every detail of every playcall. FO dysfunction.
  16. I expect some big changes today. You can't get blown out by the Browns
  17. I got two Endzone club level tickets for $273 each. Best value I could find. Upper level is around $175. Everything along the sidelines is $400+. I paid half this much for Miami week 17 two years ago.
  18. Nah, the Bills record after 6 games has been worse in recent years. Divisions aren’t won in October. By different I’m not talking about the Patriots anyway. I’m referring to the Bills. Something seems different with this team/ roster from previous years.
  19. Then good luck getting a new GM to come here especially one with experience and who has had success in this league. They aren't attached to McDermott, and any new potential GM is going to want to have the power to bring in their own HC if they don't see eye-to-eye with Sean on running the team. They probably wouldn't take the job if they didn't have that option.
  20. Very funny that we all have different opinions on the why and how to fix it, but 99% of folks agree these WRs ain’t good enough. That’s close enough for universal truth on here imo.
  21. I do believe the messaging and process has grown stale at OBD. Not sure what can shake it up and bring back the magic.
  22. It took me 32 pages but I think I got this down... so you guys are saying: There's no point in drafting a WR in the 1st round because Beane whiffs on 1st rounders> There's no point in trading for a WR because Joe Brady wouldn't know how to integrate him> Because of the WGR thing Beane would have to swallow his pride/admit he's wrong> Beane won't trade for a WR because he won't swallow his pride/admit he's wrong> Beane will trade for a WR because he will swallow his pride/admit he's wrong> The Bills should have traded for DK Metcalf> The Bills should have traded for George Pickens> The Bills should have drafted Ladd McConkey> The Bills should have drafted Xavier Worthy> The Bills should trade for Chris Olave> The Saints loss makes Olave more attainable> The Saints are saying that Olave isn't available> It's posturing... they're saying that to drive up his price> The Bills should trade for Garrett Wilson> The Jets loss makes Wilson more attainable> The Jets are saying that Wilson isn't available> It's posturing... they're saying that to drive up his price> The Bills should trade for Jaylen Waddle> The Dolphins loss makes Waddle more attainable> The Dolphins are saying that Waddle isn't available> It's posturing... they're saying that to drive up his price> The Bills should trade for AJ Brown> The Eagles dissension makes Brown more attainable> The Eagles are saying that Brown isn't available> It's posturing... they're saying that to drive up his price> We can't fit Olave/Wilson/Waddle/Brown under our cap> We can fit anyone under any cap, it's simply a matter of creative bookkeeping> Olave's a concussion risk... pass> ^^^^^ Mitch Morse/Christian Benford blah blah blah> If the Bills trade for anyone it'll be Jacobi Meyers... he's the only feasible trade target> If the Bills trade for anyone it'll be Rasheed Shahid... he's the only feasible trade target> If the Bills trade for anyone it'll be DJ Moore... he's the only feasible trade target> Amari Cooper didn't put up big numbers but he upgraded the offense> ^^^^^ The Bills don't need to upgrade the offense... they need to upgrade the defense> Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Am I doing this right? Good job, men.
  23. I'm looking for a reasonable deal as well. I will let you know if I see anything.
  24. I'd personally feel far more comfortable seeing Fields against our D. "Youuu got Muuumped!"
  25. Negative Nancies will be out in full force all week. McD has a perfect record after bye weeks. I suspect this last week was used by Brady to recalibrate his play calling, and by McD and Babich to have a come to Jesus conversation about the defense. I foresee Brady getting back to things that worked last year like the 4 + 1 formation, and to make sure Cook is used more especially in the fourth quarter. I think we’ll see a more aggressive defense with more blitzing and stunts, and perhaps some personnel changes. So I’m not particularly worried about this week. The one thing that could cost us is injuries; if we’re missing both Palmer and Kincaid that will really hamstring the offense. But I don’t think our D will put up another poor effort.
  26. You know and I know he will still be week to week, if not month to month (if there is such a thing). Sad but true.
