  1. Past hour
  2. Why fantasize about coaches when we don't even know who will be hot in the winter of 2027? Seems like a fools errand to me.
  3. At this point it would be fun being the 7 seed. Beating the Colts, Pats, and then the real challenge @ BAL or KC.
  4. I don’t want a new GM. I think we have good players. I think the issue is coaching. I don’t really want to reinvent the wheel and as unpopular as it sounds, I like Brady. My only wish is for a new voice in the defensive room. If it was up to me I’m promoting Brady to HC. I want an established DC that preferably has HC experience to just fix this mess. A dream scenario is Wade Philips. That’s probably not realistic. I want a guy in that mold. Was a HC and has a history of excellent defenses. I want nothing that has to do with any philosophy that McDermott has ever touched. I want fast and physical, man aggressive Defense. If the Brady ship has sailed, I’d be interested in a guy that has already won. Belicheck or Gruden. I’m not going to get another HC that is a lateral move. I either want one of the top end guys or I’ll stay the course with Brady and hire the best DC available. We are really close. A slight change in defensive coaching can get us over the hump. I know it
  5. A house is in general an appreciating asset, while everything else you finance is a depreciating asset. Financing a house is a necessity for 98% of our country when starting off. If the 50 year mortgage allows you to get the house, which appreciates and you then pay it off in 25 years because you make more money it was a great decision if the house is what you want. Bad financial decisions is the hallmark of the Democrat party which makes me think this a good idea since they are so upset. As for the 15 year car loan, I can't defend, that is aimed directly at the low information morons, I can't even imagine the loan rate.
  6. I'm almost certain I heard somewhere we ran into stacked boxed more than any other team in 2024... And part of the problem may be that we also had the most success vs stacked boxes... So now they are not intimidated by them...
  7. Short of a massive sexual assault scandal, the HC and GM will not change in at least 2 seasons.
  8. If we go defensive HC, what are your thoughts on Spags?
  9. Noted. IMO, it simply has to be an offensive-minded head coach. No more defensive geniuses who have to cycle through offensive coordinators every year or two…
  10. If Gruden is a part of the Bills organization, I’ll take some time off from anything Bills related. He was mad that his emails were released. Guess what! He should really be upset that he is the person he exposed as the author of those emails. I’ve also had personal experience from when our kids used to have 7 on 7’s in high school. He’s a ^&%$. Also, it seemed most of the Bu’cs hated him from his days there when he won with Tony Dungy’s team because the Raiders were too stupid and or lazy to change their signals before a Super Bowl. Rex is an idiot, but he does not personally offend me the way Gruden does.
  11. When they were still down 16 late in the 3rd when they should've been going tempo, I remember a few plays where they were still using up almost all the play clock. They were out of sorts the entire game. I know technically 16 is really only 2 scores, but there just didn't seem to be any urgency even when it seemed there should be. I even said to the wife at the time that it almost feels like the Bills think they're the ones up 16-0.
  12. Teams have figured out after watching Josh have to sit in the pocket for 4 seconds that we can't throw downfield they are gonna stack the box
  13. And it seems to me you lived your life Like a candle in the wind Never knowing who to cling to When the rain set in And I would've liked to known you But I was just a kid Your candle burned out long before Your legend ever did
  14. As much as I think we need to start over in the FO its just not happening Kevyn Adams is on 6 years of the most insane failure in pro sports... Beane is not getting fired and Beane isn't firing McD.... JMO
  15. Well, in Pegula's defense, the Rex hire was at the urging of Russ Brandon, who was more interested in marketing than building a quality team.
  16. The routes dont seem to be ones that generate separation. I dont have all 22 so cant speak for every play. But it seems most of the times our routes are not even run at full speed. They are hooks into zones and comebacks, they are short slow hitches. It seems like every play is designed for the ball to go to a primary target and everyone else is a safety valve just standing in a spot. Then you have the two and three guys in the same area. It looks like a mess. Would love to sit in on the meetings to see if this mess is by design or if there is something not translating. Because at this point our offense success comes from good running game by Cook, Allen scrambles and runs or Allen scrambles around and we hit the backyard football pass. Rarely do we see success in the passing game that looks in rhythm - Josh sees guy throws ball to open receiver (unless its the wr screen of course).
  17. I hope you're right, but Maye has been doing more with less than CJ Stroud's good season.
  18. I watch the All-22 from time to time and this is what I notice regularly: 1) There's lots of wide receivers who are not running full out on every passing play. 2) There's lots of pass rushers who throttle down when they calculate that they have no hope of catching up with the play. Most of the time this sort of common behavior only becomes a talking point when fans decide they want to criticize a player. You have a serious problem with reading comprehension. I said exactly: "As I pointed out to you before, people don't know exactly what happened between Allen and Beane regarding Coleman except for the quotes, posts, etc. indicating that Josh was factually in favor of drafting Coleman. Without actual evidence to the contrary, the reasonable position is that Josh had some sort of input, perhaps a tie-breaking vote." And please answer this question: What does anything I posted have to do with rabble rousing?
  19. Ryan Day, but we'd probably lose to the Lions every time we played them. They keep putting the Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman in the lists for the Giants opening, so that might be an option. But he makes a ton at ND.
  20. Whoever it is, make sure they are not satisfied by simply reaching the playoffs. Get rid of “playoff caliber” and bring in “championship or bust”
  21. Doug wanted him and fought hard for him to be hired. It was the first and only time in his tenure as GM that Pegula gave him who he wanted as a HC.
