  1. Past hour
  2. If MCD stays, the OC has to go and I sincerely hope someone othe than him picks the new OC. I am curious to see how things change with offensive philosophy in our new stadium. I think McD believes that with the wind and elements that we currently play in, he wants and needs a string running game and shirt yardage game, just due to the wind in OP in the winter. Now that our new stadium will defect the wind, maybe things change with his run heavy, conservative philosophy?? Just spit balling here. Trying to hype myself up for what's probably the inevitable with McD!
  3. I was also b’ing and moaning in the late 3rd when they were running an offense at a pace you would expect to see when you had a two score lead
  4. Correct imo The fact that Coleman isn't sharp on this particular route is pertinent because his rub combo w Samuel is pretty clearly one of the reads here, Shakir I don't believe is an option
  5. That play was infuriating! Every single WR is open and Josh didn’t throw to any of them! And then, after he inexplicably held onto the ball and scrambles to his stronger right side he has an intermediate WR wide open (Samuel?) just ten yards downfield and still doesn’t throw it to him. Ugh!
  6. This is something they encourage IMO. The condensed formations create so many holes and 1v1 blocking match ups. When they’re successful with them, it’s hat on a hat and cook, finds the seam. Bringing all those guys into the box actually opens up the second level of the defense when it’s executed well. The ultimate goal is to get Cook 1v1 in space vs a corner or a safety, and by bringing all the people to the party, it creates more running lanes and more open space on the boundary for cook to use his speed. Take Tyrell shavers for example. When he is in the slot, most corners or ILBs would not be playing him head up, but instead shaded inside and that is a tough ask for a WR to dig out a player who is already positioned closer to the football and has a good angle at the ball carrier. Instead they just beat that defender to the spot by presnap alignment, giving the WR a better chance at a successful block while bringing more people into the box and less on the edges. This isn’t true for every run play, obviously, but those condensed formations are something they do BECAUSE it stacks the box in a way they find advantageous.
  7. All it would take is a phone call or two from Josh Allen, and I think he’s almost ready to pick up the phone and start dialing.
  8. I haven’t watched the all 22 myself, but Joe Marino credited 4 of the incompletions vs Miami to guys not getting open. The rest were drops, Josh turning down the open looks and OL breakdowns. I think there were 3-4 drops and 3-4 instances of Josh turning down open receivers. I’m definitely on the Keon should sit train, but he didt beat his man deep on 2-3 occasions and either wasn’t targeted or Josh threw a bad ball. Obviously other instances in which Josh threw catchable passes and Keon didn’t do what we drafted him to do. Go up and use his size/body control to make a freekin play. palmer better be ready this game and we better target him. Might be tough to do next Thursday vs the Texans though. I’d have my money on Stingley shadowing him
  9. Pegula will never make a change before that. Bet the house.
  10. Because you could well be wrong. All it would take is for Josh Allen to have a heart-to-heart with Uncle Terry…
  11. Shakir is open for a five yard gain on that play but the play design is to the other side. The TE is covered and Cook is gonna get blown up after a 4-5 yard gain. No one else is open. They just look open because the ball not being thrown in a particular direction means that NFL defenders are not going to break on the ball (hence the spacing between DBs and receivers, which in reality isn't much spacing at all). Also, @Alphadawg7, maybe you're looking at it differently, but Coleman at no point looks open to me until the very end of the play when it's dead anyway. He's bracketed by two DBs the entire team and there's a clean switch by the Miami secondary when he gets to the next, deeper level.
  12. If we drop this game and the offense only musters ten points, Brady is probably fired on Monday.
  13. Not directed at you Simon, just when I see the name "Doug Whaley" I throw up in my mouth a little 😁
  14. Why fantasize about coaches when we don't even know who will be hot in the winter of 2027? Seems like a fools errand to me.
  15. At this point it would be fun being the 7 seed. Beating the Colts, Pats, and then the real challenge @ BAL or KC.
  16. I don’t want a new GM. I think we have good players. I think the issue is coaching. I don’t really want to reinvent the wheel and as unpopular as it sounds, I like Brady. My only wish is for a new voice in the defensive room. If it was up to me I’m promoting Brady to HC. I want an established DC that preferably has HC experience to just fix this mess. A dream scenario is Wade Philips. That’s probably not realistic. I want a guy in that mold. Was a HC and has a history of excellent defenses. I want nothing that has to do with any philosophy that McDermott has ever touched. I want fast and physical, man aggressive Defense. If the Brady ship has sailed, I’d be interested in a guy that has already won. Belicheck or Gruden. I’m not going to get another HC that is a lateral move. I either want one of the top end guys or I’ll stay the course with Brady and hire the best DC available. We are really close. A slight change in defensive coaching can get us over the hump. I know it
  17. A house is in general an appreciating asset, while everything else you finance is a depreciating asset. Financing a house is a necessity for 98% of our country when starting off. If the 50 year mortgage allows you to get the house, which appreciates and you then pay it off in 25 years because you make more money it was a great decision if the house is what you want. Bad financial decisions is the hallmark of the Democrat party which makes me think this a good idea since they are so upset. As for the 15 year car loan, I can't defend, that is aimed directly at the low information morons, I can't even imagine the loan rate.
  18. I'm almost certain I heard somewhere we ran into stacked boxed more than any other team in 2024... And part of the problem may be that we also had the most success vs stacked boxes... So now they are not intimidated by them...
  19. I’d take him over Gruden.
  20. Short of a massive sexual assault scandal, the HC and GM will not change in at least 2 seasons.
  21. If we go defensive HC, what are your thoughts on Spags?
  22. Noted. IMO, it simply has to be an offensive-minded head coach. No more defensive geniuses who have to cycle through offensive coordinators every year or two…
  23. If Gruden is a part of the Bills organization, I’ll take some time off from anything Bills related. He was mad that his emails were released. Guess what! He should really be upset that he is the person he exposed as the author of those emails. I’ve also had personal experience from when our kids used to have 7 on 7’s in high school. He’s a ^&%$. Also, it seemed most of the Bu’cs hated him from his days there when he won with Tony Dungy’s team because the Raiders were too stupid and or lazy to change their signals before a Super Bowl. Rex is an idiot, but he does not personally offend me the way Gruden does.
  24. When they were still down 16 late in the 3rd when they should've been going tempo, I remember a few plays where they were still using up almost all the play clock. They were out of sorts the entire game. I know technically 16 is really only 2 scores, but there just didn't seem to be any urgency even when it seemed there should be. I even said to the wife at the time that it almost feels like the Bills think they're the ones up 16-0.
  25. Teams have figured out after watching Josh have to sit in the pocket for 4 seconds that we can't throw downfield they are gonna stack the box
