NFL Players in Hot Water for Scalping SB Tix
US Egg replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hundreds of thousands of NFL fans ripped off by brokers yearly, but the NFL wants to make an example of some of their lunkheads for making a small profit on a 100 or so SB tickets. This is another example of why I can’t take pro sport head honchos seriously. -

How many drops does Coleman have? That seems to be the focus these early camp days.

I’d rather it be now than a month from now.

Apparently hiding the Epstein files to protect pedos is not a big part of the repertoire. -
Yeah it was fun to see him with the kid and excitement he was playing with, but you are right. I do wish him well and think the change could be good - BUT - that would be a flag, he was holding his shoulder almost the whole route, you are gonna get that called most the time, it was pretty blatant, and that is his biggest issue. He plays physical, and on one hand you love that, but on the other he struggles to control it and what we saw with him is when he has to keep his hands off it’s like he seems less confident or a step behind. If the kid can figure out how to keep his hands under control while still playing with the same confidence and anticipation, he could be be a good player. But as others have pointed out, several clips on his ints in camp have included some questionable hand activity throughout the route that could or would get called for a flag in a game. And when he starts drawing flags it’s like he almost over corrects and then that’s when he’s gotten torched. Pulling for him, but since college, his issue has been too reliant on his use of his hands in being physical.

Ed is not a popular figure among the OP locals. Or at least the neighbors through whose yards he continues to ride his ATV. Ironically I was just thinking about this a few days ago. Of the people who have been paid here, he's probably the only bonehead. EDIT: Diggs also got paid. He might not have been as much of a bonehead before he got the big money. But they quickly recognized the error of that contract and moved on.

Another thing that people have forgotten about OJ was that he was the first sports superstar who went out of his way to acknowledge his teammates when the spotlight was on him. When he broke the NFL single season rushing record and the network requested a post game interview, OJ insisted that they allow him to bring out all of his offensive teammates for the interview and he cited each of them by name... "my main man Reggie McKenzie... JD "Crackback" Hill... etc. This had never been done before and it was an extraordinary act that spoke of good character. Is that a bat or are you glad to see me?
