I think he found, or at least was looking for, a middle ground with the new coaching hires. They made a point of brining in fresh perspectives to try to improve in certain areas, then drafted almost all defense. Sure, some shortcomings will appear (that’s life), but you can’t say they aren’t trying to step it up a notch. I give them credit for that. Now I just hope it works.

Good point. He should have focused much more on cornerbacks.

Weak. I encourage you to believe that CNN and the New York Times are Trump-friendly media organizations. Out of fear or anything else. Tell everyone you know. -
Tied for the most over under wins at 11.5 win the Ravens and Eagles but if we win it all, it'll be magic lol.

Whatever helps you continue to pretend to be the victim 👍 -
Some people SEVERELY underrate the other football players on the bills We have a very good roster

Would McDermott want to give up control of the defense. He seems very involved when it comes to that side of the ball. Offense is a little different since he came up the coaching ranks on the defensive side so I can see him letting his OC run the show. Defense I am not so sure.

Yep. Winning it all with a good team and being favored to win every game in the regular season....magic I tell ya if we win the Super Bowl. Sportscaster 1: And the Bills FINALLY win it all! Sportscaster 2: I don't know how they were able to do it being favored in every regular season game. It was magic! One site had the Jets winning it all....all the others had the Bills.

agreed 100%! This is why, if things don't go well for the defense yet again when it matters, I am in favor of McDermott transitioning to CEO type of HC and going and getting the best DC there is and letting that guy run his system here, just like Brady does on offense. That way you get all of the best of McDermott while the defensive system hopefully gets upgraded to something that can stop the top offenses using as much of the current talent as possible. Pete Carroll's background is defense but he isn't really thought of by many as a "defensive HC." Who ever talks about "Pete Carroll's defenses"? Build a great team and let McDermott lead it. But let the coordinators do the Xs and Os and build their own schemes.

I know you have this unusual fantasy going right now, but the default position of these organizations is “Trump bad”. Despite what you are pretending to believe they are not running with those stories to make Trump look good or because they are afraid of his followers. They’re just doing what they do. An unbelievably lame argument you’ve made here this afternoon. -

Care to respond to my point that GOP presidencies have had a lot of recessions or are you giving up on that too Why do you think they have it on the front page? -

Let’s summarize your thoughts of the last hour: -it’s safe to ignore Trump and his plan towards reducing crime in DC - the New York Times and CNN disagree with this position and have it as their lead story on their webpages - the only reason they are doing that is because they are scared of Trump‘s followers, and therefore are reporting this as their lead story as a service to Trump. In your words they are “carrying weight for this administration” by reporting this as their lead story. hoo boy -

I know, McDermott stinks in these opening preseason games. He's so predictable—time for a change. -
You're on point. Beane is the best, our roster is super high on talent, or HC is the best, our QB is the best. We just dumb luck our way out at the divisional round every year. The Chiefs are just better. The injuries. It all aligns. By the way, the Jets were favored to win the division last year. We have been favored to win the Super Bowl multiple times the last 4 years. Nobody said this wasn't a good team. Team win almost 70% of regular season games with QB's that play at Allen's level. It's the playoffs when the magic show unravels.
