You guys need to stop trying to be clever, the federal government has a responsibility to protect American citizens, which right is Trump taking away from the State. -

Los Angeles under military attack

I don't know if we need the Marines, but would think probably not. However, the attacks seems well-coordinated and violent, which implies to me a certain degree of sophistication and funding. I couldn't say whether intelligence suggests greater violence on the horizon. With respect to National Guard, well, it seems the LAPD was unwilling to assist, the governor and mayor has made their feelings clear on the attempt to enforce the law, so deploying the NG makes sense. The rioters are wrong, great, we agree. I would think the onus would be on the state to deal with rioters, violent extremists, and stay out of the way of federal law enforcement activities. I don't think that's happening, so the federal government needs to provide support for federal law enforcement activities. I would also hazard a guess to say that those directly impacted by the rioters, insurrectionists and fomenters of violence would willingly accept the assistance of the federal government as the state plays politics on the sideline and not give a **** what that looked like. All they likely see is the time, effort and money put into building their lives, homes and businesses treated as fodder for extremists and at the whim of government officials unwilling to apply the law. In that regard, btw, the locals would not be unlike the liberal politicians huddled behind walls and people with guns and a willingness to use them on 1/6. Given the choice to dispatch the 1/6 rioters with extreme prejudice, bring in the National Guard, the Marine Corp, the First Infantry Division and any and all in-between, they would have chosen to do so to protect themselves regardless of rules, laws and regulations. -

Sir, that would be called an axe. Your nickname in this thread could be lumberjack. As for your other "points" I simply respond that there are only so many things one can do with a stadium, and for an outdoor facility the Bills are taking advantage of all of them. Do you really believe the technology has not improved with respect to the grass field and roof heating? How about the installation of dedicated cell networks and a completely separate technology building to bring state-of-the-art connectivity for fans and allow for future expansion? The glass and perforated metal look that will surround the stadium aren't a new design? Again, I don't understand the basis for your repetitive and crusade-like negative posting on the new building. -

Press Gaslighting on Los Angeles Riots Reaches an Astoundingly Disturbing New Low The situation in Los Angeles has continued to escalate, with the LAPD and CHP now becoming prime targets for anti-ICE rioters. On Sunday, videos emerged of violent masked individuals throwing chunks of concrete onto California Highway Patrol cruisers, destroying several of them in what can only be described as attempted murder. https://redstate.com/bonchie/2025/06/09/press-gaslighting-on-los-angeles-riots-reaches-an-astounding-new-low-n2190223 -

So they had to overpay for resources. They never should have agreed to using all that local spending. And Terry should have went with a dome Yes, Terry amd company said that was what they based it on. Terrible decision -

That is telling. If the staff thought this guy would have a shot at starting, I don't feel they would have spent all those resources on DE -

No really. He had 134 defensive snaps last season. 59 of them came in week 17 against NE. The remaining were mostly clumped in three other games, two of which were blowouts. So not a lot of meaningful defensive snaps. He did play a fair bit on Specials tho with 241 snaps. He seems to be a regular presence there. LINK

I have two also, the standard Jazzmaster, and this open face Skeleton I got hoodwinked on. It displayed great in the store, because, as I found out, the lighting in the store is designed to enhance everything. Got it home, threw it in the dresser, didn’t wear it for months. Finally do, can barely see the hands, they get lost in the open face, can’t tell what time it is. Basically, I bought a bracelet. -

I do!? I have half the amount of posts in this thread as the leading poster, and only 60% of the second most. Can you tell us about all the leading edge technology? Is it the grass field with grow lights that Green Bay and others have been using for decades? Is it the fact that we are installing the same radiant heating technology that is in the current stadium and was installed over a decade ago? Is it the canopy that is a lesser copy of Tottenham’s almost decade old design? Is it the snow melt system that was copied from the Vikings who built theirs a decade ago? (ours will be bigger/more advanced though) From what I have seen and read, we are installing features that have been in other stadiums for decades and calling it ‘leading edge’ because it’s new to us. If we have genuine innovation in this stadium then that is awesome, but everything I have seen is a copy of old-ish technology that is borrowed from other stadiums who have had it for a while. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So if you think it looks modern and cool, that’s great! Personally, I think it looks old and boring. Someone else mentioned that it looks old because it’s based on Tottenham - which was designed almost a decade ago. So it’s already based on an older design. I thought that was a good point. -
HMMM... What made you come to that conclusion? This is a brilliant thought 🤔 😂
