  1. Past hour
  2. I would argue Walker is now the starter with Oliver now, with Jones and Sanders as backups. Coleman was meant to be Palmer is a third if their starters, as it’s just him, Shakir, and Coleman. We have no idea if Hairston was going to start. Strong was a long shot, and only was seeing action because Hairston got hurt and Tre is slow. I’ll give you the LBs, but when are they ever healthy? Replying on them is a sin. If your draft picks get hurt, while unfair, that tends to fall on the GM. And none of his top two picks from the last two years are doing anything. Now, with ALL of that being said, I’m more worried about the culture than the roster right now. Josh looks absolutely defeated. These guys are starting to quit and lose faith. We’ve seen way more injured teams play harder than this. I think McD and Beane might be at a crossroads, even when we get players back. But you also assume no one else will get injured, or injured again.
  3. Sorry if I am bring up something that's in this thread already....or recently brought up elsewhere....but I think most of you know the stat that a HC and QB that have been together for more than 5 years and didn't get a Super Bowl win in those first 5 years, have never gone on to get one. McDermott deserves a TON of credit for being the HC that oversaw the development of Josh Allen. That was a big time high risk, high reward pick and he has seen it through to where Allen is an elite talent. ....but he's the wrong guy to take the Bills the rest of the way on the journey to a title. That's fine. It's also fine to recognize that is the case. The bills need a Mike Shannahan/John Elway type of combo. Dan Reeves oversaw Elways development into a star, but he was the wrong coach to build and coach that team to a title. Reeves was a very good coach, but his skill set wasn't a match for a fully developed Elway. Same with McDermott. The Bills need to get someone like Kevin Stefanski......yes, he is Clevelands coach....call and make that trade. Or maybe Mike McCarthy....
  4. The O was a little more intact. Kincaid & Palmer being out definitely hurt, but it shouldn't result in the # of punts we saw tonight. I get what you're saying. But we're still lacking, even healthy.
  5. No … Bills telling him “come at me “…
  6. At one point tonight I looked on the field and was pretty sure I could see Andreesen, Cam Lewis, Poyer and Javon Solomon all at the same time. There is just no overcoming that level of attrition. I was amused it came on the first play of the game; as if Brady was trying to make some point. And Samuel has been so nicked up, it's easy to forget he's even on the roster.
  7. Well we did get a long ball out of Palmer tonight for once. Samuel is always hurt
  8. As long as im allowed to talk about the bills drafting boogie over Humphries pick being the best thing to happen to the chiefs since drafting mahomes.
  9. Here’s video: For those that understand the rules better than I, curious if this qualifies as a hip drop tackle or not. I have a feeling that it does, and this player will get fined this week, which doesn’t really do us any good though.
  10. Legacy? He’s trying to maximize his rapidly ending mediocre playing career.
  11. Team is lost They are searching for answers on both sides of the ball, and Josh doesn't seem to be playing with the type of energy and leadership we are accustomed to Might be time to pull the plug
  12. Palmer and Samuel
  13. This is a good, pretty rational post & reminder. But we haven't looked good basically all season. That Ravens upset was a huge high and it felt like we might roll after that - but it was also pretty flukey. We looked bad & outclassed most of that game. We didn't look all that good against Miami or NO either. I'm absolutely willing to see how we look after the bye, and getting some guys back - and really, I don't have a choice on that. But my confidence was rattled tonight. I thought after that Pats game, we'd respond, even w/ the injuries.
  14. I was actually just typing faster than my brain. The stroke was actually referring to you .
  15. What two WR's are hurt?
  16. Agree it's on the coaches to find a better option than Tre White at CB. I don't see how anyone could expect him to be even competitive this year after the Rams - who had as bad a defense last year as we did - healthy scratched him last year then traded him for a 7th round pick swap. I don't fault him for continuing to play as long as he's given a job and I don't fault him for the age and injury related decline.
  17. I think they need to remove the ping pong tables from the locker room
  18. Your mini-stroke gave me a mini-heart attack
  19. Sorry for the mini-stroke; I edited it as soon as I re-read it
  20. You mean Sanders, right? Please don’t tell Deone got hurt and I didn’t notice it.
  21. And smells like Limburger...
  22. All of our players suck, or so I’m told. Addition by subtraction?! Oh wait… Carry on!
  23. Atlanta's offense has been the worst in the league passing the ball 10+ yards downfield this year. I knew Bijan was going to make some plays and you can live with that. It's just appalling that they had exactly one WR to worry about and they just let him find soft spots in zone or end up in 1v1 coverage all night long. It could have been a lot worse too. We got lucky London stepped out of bounds at the end of the 1st half and Penix missed a few throws where he was wide open. I just don't understand how you let the only pass catcher worth mentioning do that to you. Just like Diggs last week. Forget genius defensive coaching, we are failing at the basics.
  24. At one point tonight I was walking back into the the room and just involuntarily took a knee when I saw another flag. Their lack of attention to detail is absolutely a problem for them right now. And Sanders
  25. Worse idea than the fans showing up to the airport after playoff losses
  26. I'm pretty sure we could have signed Keenan Allen this offseason. He's on pace for 900 yards and 9 TDs. He has a $3m cap hit. Maybe we can lure Amari Cooper out of retirement.
