  1. Past hour
  2. It will be Darnold just because God has a twisted sense of humor.
  3. Well said and hard to argue. Though you don’t know how it would pan out. Worthy is in a friendly situation given Mahomes/Kelce/Rice and Reid as the coach. Not been that impressed with him myself. Best moments of his were the garbage time in the Super Bowl when Philly called the dogs off and the game was borderline won.
  4. Thank you for falling on that grenade and saving many of us from potential emotional trauma. Who am I kidding? These guys are probably even MORE curious now. 😂
  5. So for all the comments regarding how poor Coleman is, from article in todays Athletic regarding #3 overall pick Abdul Carter, article also talked about some of the things LT did back in the day and apparently Parcells allowed. Article states Daboll tended to look the other way with Carter, but the guy who took over for him Carter had to sit out the opening series of the Giants’ Week 11 loss to the Packers, after he was asleep in the team facility at the time of the walk-through, Dan reported. (Carter denied the charge, saying on social media he was undergoing recovery, not sleeping.) Just two weeks later, Carter was again benched, this time for the entire first quarter of Monday’s loss to the Patriots. The reason? He missed a special teams meeting. After the game, Carter said, “S— happens,” before later apologizing for letting his teammates down. Taylor used to miss time for other reasons. One Sunday night, he drove home from playing golf, saw the stadium lights on and realized he was missing his team’s game. “I thought it was a Monday night game,” Taylor told James Brown. “I (told Parcells), don’t blame me. Blame the foursome in front of me. They were so slow.” When his Giants defensive coordinator, Bill Belichick, told head coach Bill Parcells about Taylor’s tardiness, Parcells asked, “Well, why’d you start the meeting before he got there?”
  6. Dude was 1-6 in 7 games last year. Never threw over 200 yards. He was sacked 33 times in those 7 games. He was a mess.
  7. Bills did themselves and the league a huge favor tbh…adoree Jackson is terrible and that is a huge weakness for that Philly team without a lot of them
  8. Well. He wasn’t a threat…can’t build a bomb that works….so….
  9. He has a 16% missed tackle rate and allowing 75% completions. This isn't a loss. Shocked Beane even tried.
  10. Poor kid 🤣🤣🤣
  11. Agreed. Should've clarified. I meant they would run the table in the playoff as the 7 seed. If that happens, the only way the Bills would play them before the AFC championship would be if the Bills are the 1 or the 2. If the Bills are NOT the 1 or 2...but both teams advance to the Championship, the game would be in Buffalo. Could you imagine a 6 vs 7 in the championship? If there were a year it would happen, this is it.
  12. Didnt we use to have some of the best training staff and then a couple years in McD just fired them all? Maybe I am misremembering.
  13. i believe there is a period of the next day at a specific time to put in a claim, iirc. like if released today after business hours (4pm) it goes to the 2 dayday 4pm (like Sunday) to declare - making it usually a 3 day event. it's 3:26 EST - so if released this second i think it is 4 Saturday.

  15. I believe teams have a 24 hour period for a waiver claim. Plenty of time in the professional world of in-season NFL. The agent BETTER be responsive in 24 hour waiver claim period or you get a new agent.
  16. I normally agree, but we're about to play Philly, and Slay would absolutely make them better. They got a bad CB that Slay would upgrade. AND he's (probably) useful for us. Even if only an injury replacement. We got killed last year after losing Benford. Our depth is better this year, but still not great.
  17. Bombay giving up his high-paying corporate law gig to keep Banks was a little ridiculous, in retrospect.
  18. Maybe. I'm curious to know what the waiver wire timelines look like. It doesnt seem like teams have all day to sit around and call agents and talk to players. I believe it's more of a "Click here now!" scenario. Teams just grab a guy and hope for the best. At least as far as I can tell, but maybe someone knows different?
  19. Or he'll be a crypto bro who buys the Cardinals and signs free agent Josh Allen to do a late-career Elway. Josh Rosen is currently attending the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, where he is pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration. After his NFL career took him to multiple teams, he has shifted his focus to a business education.
  20. Holy cow so much bad and false info and people with no clue how things work. No trades - past the deadline - he either reports or we put him on the did not report list and we open up the spot. The waiver order is set - it does not change because we claimed someone. The order stays the same and we can continue to claim guys. The Bills did everything fine and even if it blocks Philly from the player - there is no impact to the Bills - they made a legitimate waiver wire claim and if he doesn’t report - there is no impact to us.
  21. Beane employing some Gordon Bombay-like maneuvers. #FreeAdamBanks
  22. Well, actually, now that they are competitive again, they have earned a 2nd round pick.
  23. We will disagree to disagree and let's leave it at that. We will see shortly. Hope you are right.
  24. Tim settle out for the year with foot surgery for the Texans They also lost fatukusi
  25. QJ on this team may have been a bigger part and more succesful. i am not arguing the player as much as i am the position. we didn't need a TE and we didn't need a TE who can't block that combines with being able to not catch as much as a WR or run a full route tree.
