I'd not attach the word ghost to Mack Hollins for what he contributed last year. He became an important part of the Bills offense, especially in downfield blocking that average fan does not pay much attention to. Mack has his limitations. OBD certainly wants Keon to do what Mack was giving the Bills last year and more. Let's see.

Training Camp News - Around the League version

So which ne’er do ‘ell franchise will pick up this clown show? 🤔. I’m guessing Cleveland, KC or…yep, that’s about the shortlist methinks! -
Was that Joe Brady jumping up in the background before Keon hauled in the ball? Keon has that capability - he flashed before. And it is not a high percentage play to be honest. But there are times that is the ONLY play available, espectially playing against a good defensive team in the playoff. We need that play to get to 50% completion level.

Its nice that people who attend a particular practice are able to give their first hand impressions. In addition, due to all the training camp impressions, I love the idea as it’s broken up day by day as the overall camp will get so long, it will be unlikely to keep reading an overall thread given the length of camp and ongoing posts. Whatever the mods want, but one central camp thread per day makes sense and keep concise. Whatever the mods want.

After the loss of Shavers’ spleen, I think a strong drink is appropriate.

We just spent a long weekend with the grandchildren on vacation. I mentioned this great news to the 2 1/2 year old, and it did not seem to relieve her. The screaming in the restaurant at breakfast continued. 🤷♂️ P.S. - It’s nice to be the grandparents. Just hand them back! .

Thank you Dan! The feeling's mutual. Complete disclosure, I was just going for the cheap laugh. I haven't had a drink... yet. 😆 To paraphrase (the late) Bill Walton, "I learned a long time ago that an injury isn't considered serious when it happens to someone else."

I want to pump the breaks on forecasting too much of next year buuuut... I think it's safe to say that even before free agency there was a strong core: pretty much the entire offense is intact and there weren't major losses on defense But even just in the start of free agency they seemed to get close to what they were at the end of last year. I was confident that they'd find a deep and competent CB group post draft between Benford Hairston, Tre, Dane, and Ingram. So the things I've been most worried about were DL and WR and while it's early...man, if even half of them can do this consistently when the season starts my areas of concern might be strengths Keon has broken his funk, Palmer and Moore look at least as good as Cooper and Hollins if not better and the DL looks like they got a bunch of special guys if we know what to do with them

i seen that right after and smacked my forehead!....eh...great minds

Well, it’s good to stay hydrated. 🤪🦬🏋️♀️🏈 I never said I didn’t have a glass of wine in my hand as we speak. Relaxing is code for grabbing a drink. Glad you’re enjoying yourself Sierra. I always like your posts.

Just saw a tweet from ESPN that Shavers’ injury isn’t considered serious. 🤞

Happy Days, some of us aren’t X followers so a deep th Al you to you my friend. Enjoy you’re Sunday. I know we had a nice church and park on the north end of the Bay, and will have our typical Sunday Dinner, as to me Sunday is a family day. It’s nice as a distraction to surf TSN while watching some fun movies. We even made the gym this morning so a perfect Sunday.

Sierra Foothills beat you to it, page 1.

Interesting that the team says that "WR Elijah Moore sat out most of the practice with general leg soreness. NCB Taron Johnson had a vet rest day." Why wouldn't they say that both had veteran rest days? There's a message in there... When a Buffalo Bills fan hears someone had a good day at camp, should the fan: a) celebrate that they did well b) be concerned that someone else is potentially a liability? c) None of the above d) Yes e) a, b, and d, but not c And btw the player in coverage, Jamarcus Ingram is a long, 6'2" cornerback.

You're right. Thinking back to last year I now recall that Tyrell Shavers was included in the final cuts and wasn't considered vested. I believe he was wearing a cardigan when he was released so that's consistent with what you're saying. Cardigan ≠ Vest Thanks! 👍
