  1. Past hour
  2. There is the option to put Gabe Davis on the 53 man roster now given that one of Bernard or Brown will seemingly go on IR. There is time to get in sync with Josh before Pittsburgh and he is the closest thing to a number one receiver we can have this year and given what we have seen so far this year is the best option and yes it isn't ideal but here we are. Pray that Keon is motivated to put in the effort and turn the corner and bounce back. Use Kincaid more - play him all over the field - X receiver, big slot, FB - make him into a true difference maker.
  3. Other teams will feel sorry for us and pass on him. Get it, "pass" on him?
  4. I’m incredibly stubborn with when it’s time to just accept that I can’t see and put on my glasses
  5. Anyone that claims him takes on some dead cap for next year, I believe. Also, vets like Cooks can typically make it know who they’ll play for via their agent.
  6. Or too tight.
  7. I brought this up earlier in the week in the Hardman thread when he went on IR Cooks been available since Tuesday. It’s a no brainer.
  8. Nothing to lose that’s for sure
  9. Vested veterans still have to pass through waivers after the trade deadline.
  10. I think we are currently about 26 in the waiver wire order.
  11. LOL before the season started Elam was the best thing on earth. They found out fast. Thanks for the draft pick Jerry.
  12. Too many Cooks in the kitchen. Way too confusing.
  13. All have to go. I would add another full year to Josh's contract and push as much to the last year as possible. To be honest I look to move Dawkins, (yeah yeah I can here the wailing and gnashing of teeth now...) but we have seen he doesn't play through blocks anymore, and he is getting up there in age. That said, I dump every single penny of possible cap this offseason and get a new GM who can actually evaluate talent in the first 2 rounds worth and damn and tell him go get it.
  14. Thank you- I guess I could of looked - appreciate it
  15. Just freaking do it already!
  16. We're about in the middle. This year, for example, the 49ers have 103 million in dead cap: https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space
  17. Will you be thinking about me as you are doing things to your wife’s face? You might as well. She will be. *apologies to my regular readership for taking such a common tack. Redhawk Jr kind of teed it up for me.
  18. Disagree. Teef is King Jr. Arrived with the declaration that he's above the fray... Only to dive deep in the mire. Love it.
  19. gettin done Beane
  20. 1. Houston Texans would lose if they played against us in our house. Most likely, get blown out, despite our injuries and crap defense. 2. Houston Texans not a threat this season. 3. CJ Stroud is overrated. 4. Texans is number one defense, but not an other worldly historic number one. 5. James Cook is a great RB. We haven't had a RB on that level since Thurman Thomas. No disrespect to Fred Jackson. James Cook is a step above. 6. We will be at Wildcard Weekend this season.
  21. Don't they always get to within 1 game of .500 and lose? They lost to Calgary, the worst team in the league on Wednesday when they could have reached .500. They won last night and are again within 1 win of hitting the ever elusive .500 mark. Don't bet on the Sabres to win.
  22. Night brother. I’m going to have some fun. You simps enjoy whatever plans you have which I’m 100% sure means being on here.
  23. Silver lining: No matter how bad things seem, just remember, we're all going to die one day, so it doesn't really matter in the end.
  24. So 32 million in dead cap- any idea where that ranks in the league? Seems absurd but maybe that’s just how things are everywhere
  25. That's point percentage not winning percentage.
