Keon drops 60 in Damar's celebrity basktball gam
Mr. WEO replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall
this isn't the NBA of the late 80's or early 90's, when teams were stacked. Now most teams have one superstar maybe and 1 or 2 other guys. every roster has a few MarJon Beauchamp's and Pacome Dadiets. terrible pros. -

Selective Justice: The Hypocrisy of MAGA
Homelander replied to Homelander's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Amazing how ‘the deep state is out to get us’ turned into ‘we are the deep state’ faster than you can say ‘executive order. -

That’s rich… MAGA spent over two years foaming at the mouth about DEI, turning every issue into a race war but suddenly they’re confused when people notice they don’t think brown folks deserve due process. When your entire platform is fear of diversity, don’t act shocked when the receipts start showing.

I will go with some I loved but not named yet The Matrix Field of Dreams Dangerous Liasons The Devil wears Prada TOP GUN Keanu Reeves - Kevin Costner-Glenn Close- Meryl Streep, and Tom Cruise starring in lead roles supporting characters also not too shabby. Too many great actors to name

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
VW82 replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably. He'd look better if we moved him around but we won't because we need an x and have lots of guys who should be featured in the slot. Keon needs to become a master of his craft to reach full potential which might take years. Until then, he's just a guy who struggles to gain separation from the other guy. -

I mean he was 6th in Scrimmage yards the season before last year so I'd say it's probably fair value based on 2 straight 1K rushing seasons while also acknowledging he is not among the elite of the elite.
-
So the 10-11 million you're OK with paying, isn't that paying a premium based on last season, certainly it can't be for his first 2 seasons.

Any updates?

US Egg replied to Draconator's topic in Off the Wall
I’m back to loving baseball. The guy I’m watching bat right now is a big reason…..I’ve come to accept that he’s now a Dodger. -
Who does that? Hahaha. Most people do that? Really?

MAGA: Morons Are Governing America

Nobody is ignoring it. Acting like this is going to be his baseline is foolish tho. His true value is somewhere in the middle and paying someone after what likely will be a career best season isn't smart. You are doing exactly what most people do in the stock market...buy at the all time high and then sell when it loses value. If they could get a deal done for $10-11 million, I'm all for paying him. $15 million? No. He wants to be paid as if he will have that season every year and the Bills want to pay him as if that's likely an outlier season but they still value him as a very good but not elite player. And that's smart business for the Bills. And Cook is right to try and use his last season as leverage to get overpaid, but the Bills simply aren't dumb enough to do it.

Hamlin, Rapp, Benford, Bishop, and now the rookie have all been injured too. Not to mention White. Best hope is Pittsburgh and Cinci make that division competitive and take a few games from them. Of course winning week 1 head to head helps.
