He had some bad plays for sure but it was not the worse of his career, I don't see him anything more then a #3 or maybe #2 receiver

Looking ahead to the Falcons…All of a sudden a must win

Not a “must win” but it’ll be a hard one. Atlanta has some serious talent on offense. Robinson and London are studs. -

This a thousand times! Getting beaten on a "rivalries" Sunday night game by an inferior team at HOME. The entire NFL world was watching to see a comedy of errors on home turf. This should have been an easy win... but, alas, the partially inept team showed up with 3 turnovers. Two by Allen and one by Coleman. What I can't get over are the penalties 11 for 90 yards. Undisciplined nonsense. That's coaching, and I've been defending McD and Babich, Brady since the start of the season...no more! What we all watched was not a Super Bowl team, and the Patriots might just take the division! I feel bad for all the fans who wasted their money on those uniforms/colors. -
Yep and then in 8 years we'll be in qb purgatory again.
-
After many many threads in the last few years about McD, it’s very clear that the 90% of us wish a change. I wish a change too and my first reason is beyond schemes or poor game decisions made, or games approach… those are obviously very valid points, many times McD failed in all of them, most of the times in crucial game moments… but to me another big one is because that veteran players need a new voice, new challenges… to be looking for new motivation. The new coach should have a strong personality, should be tough and assertive… someone like McVay, Gruden, Siriani. Unfortunately i know that this won’t happen anytime soon…. i’m just disappointed and angry at the same time because we are wasting our Josh Allen’s era.

Somehow the Pats corners looked pretty good covering for 10+ seconds -

Your first point is it. When Josh has a bad game; by his standard. The team invariably loses. This team, as good as we are, can’t afford turnovers. Pats played a great game. Gotta give them credit where it’s due. Maye and Diggs showed up big time. -

Putting aside the turnovers, which pretty much decided the game, in general it looks like the Pats are back. They look good. -

I don’t understand why Brady stopped using Cook, especially late in the game. -

The Bills D got tired in the 2nd half. Those White Outs looked like they had tin foil on the sleeves. The only white out in 70 degree weather that I've heard about is when the cocaine shipment arrives in Miami and guys like Tony Montana throws a shindig. -
Given where he was drafted I expected more out of him. Excuses will be made until the end of time for a C+ receiver

It’s week 5, no such thing as a must win in week 5 I do love extreme overreactions after a loss though, really brightens my morning! -

You act like McD wasn’t in love with the feel good story of bringing Tre White home. There’s no chance he wasn’t 100% on board with that decision. McDermott has never won anything WITH Josh Allen. We don’t need a coach who can win without Josh. We have Josh. We do need a coach who can win with a great QB. We don’t have that. -

Lmao OP thinks the Pats are winning more than maybe 7 games? Im pissed because that was an easy win we let slip away for no reason. We played like absolute ass and barely lost the game lol. We gifted them so many points they left on the field because they're just not good...we just played way worse than they did like we played down to them or just didn't show up. -

This, its a long season. We will be there with a few other flawed teams at the end and whoever gets hot at the right time will win it. A loss forces them to take a hard look versus a win where they skate by again. The pats* are scrappy but they have to do a lot more than this to knock us off the mountain. Time to look in the mirror and go. -

i look at it as we played at a 4 level, NE played at an 8 level, we got the worse of the poor officiating, and we lost by 3 points. I am not worried but if we lay an egg next week I will be worried -

I knew it was over when we played for a tie game and gave them the ball back with over 2 minutes. This made me hearken back to the Dick Jauron days when he would coach not to lose....and then proceed to lose. -
Keon had his mistake, sure but he made other plays. Biggest issue was tackling again. Especially behind the LOS or immediately after the catch. Couple that with getting shredded in the zones on the boundary and yeah, not good.

Thank you for mentioning Tre. It was hard to watch his getting abused out there but man we gotta make a change at his slot because he was getting cooked out there. Switch something around and sit Tre on the bench!! He will be beneficial to teach some of the younger guys but keep him off the field. -
Wtf? I thought they only played this when the victory was looming. Never felt that they got to that spot in this game.

As perhaps the founding member of the anti-McDermott crowd, even I'm going to say this was more on the players. Pretty sure Palmer has been coached to line up correctly. He just didnt do it. Josh threw into double coverage not McDermott. And who else is he going to play at CB#2. I was laughed at when Douglas was still available and I suggested bringing him back. He was never as bad last year as White is now. Same for Cooper. He made more plays in limited action last year than Shavers will his entire career. And for the it will be better when Hairston comes back crowd, please remember he wasn't beating out White in OTAs or training camp. Ok last points. Beane's extensions are really mixed right now. Shakir is not getting enough targets. Rousseau has been terrible. Benford hasn't made a play all year. Bernard has been up and down. Only Cook and Brown have played well with the new contracts. Palmer has been gross too as a free agent signing.
