When I was in the NBA the way that scheduling worked is that you got a certain amount of “vetoes” that they abided by. For example, the Pelicans never play home games from Thursday-Tuesday of Mardi Gras week. It would be a logistical nightmare so they go on the road. If I remember correctly, we could also make certain “requests” like “we would like to play a home game, in the afternoon, on MLK.”

Yea I think I heard both Joe Marino and Sal speculate about his spot on the roster this week. Maybe they are right and I am wrong but I think he is a lock to get some time early at a rotational 1T and if he is somewhat effective when the NFL releases the Beane Two after week 6 I think there is a chance they could move on from Daquan Jones unless he is really back to form.

This is fair. It is his take it to the house, explosives I think are hard to replace. And because we don't have a super explosive pass game beyond Josh scramble drills I think they have more value than they might in other situations. What I would also say is while our line definitely created a ton of good holes last year Cook has such good vision and that plays a part too. Davis found the big holes when they were there but he wasn't as good at finding the smaller creases as Jimbo. On the subject of the insta posts.... I am pretty confident at this stage that Cook will play this year contract or not. He will hold out as long as he can, but he isn't going to not play. The fact he is still positing Bills photos suggests he still wants to be on the team and this is just the business side where his agent is trying to maximise negotiating leverage - as he is totally within his rights to do.

We all know its a stupid idea. That's the intent behind it. To distract and confuse the opposition, not his base. Trump makes some wild statement and the Democrats get triggered and go off and running with it. Its part of his routine like the childish name calling. If this was hockey instead of politics Trump would be an instigator or agitator type of player running around playing chippy and taking shots at the other team just on the edge of the rules and out of view of the officials. Then they retaliate and take a penalty or two.

Obviously bad, which is why we should encourage more liberal reforms in China and develop stronger ties with other nations instead of erasing all our trade relationships like Trump is doing.
